I saw this in someone's house that we were touring to buy. I take no credit for the quote or the beautiful painting.

Friends are there to lift you up, to support you when all hope may seem lost. You can fly on your own, with the hope and energy that life has given you. But sometimes, as hard as we may try, all hope and energy seem just out of reach.

And that's when a friend comes and sets us back on the right track to the sky again.
