Reminder- If You're Stressed

If you're feeling stressed right now, or any time, here are some things to remember.

1. First, take a deep breath. You're no good to anyone without oxygen. Your brain thinks better when you're breathing and your heart isn't racing. Breathe.

2. Drink some water. Cool down. Have you eaten enough today? Have something small and healthy. Take care of yourself. Your first priority is making sure you're okay. A rusty wagon isn't very good at carrying wood.

3. It's probably not as bad as you think it is. Unless the fate of humanity rests on your shoulders, it's not going to be the end of the world. Look at it in perspective. How important will this be in in ten years? Twenty? Ultimately, you'll be alright.

4. No dream is too big. No goal is unattainable. Don't stress yourself out because you think you'll never make it. If Beyoncé thought she'd never be a star, do you think she'd be the highest paid female celebrity of 2017? She had a dream that was insane and it came true because of hard work, dedication, talent, and passion.

5. It's okay to ask for help. There are hundreds of people around you willing to support you. It's not weak to admit you can't do everything alone. In fact, it's one of the hardest and bravest things to do.

6. Tomorrow is a new day. Who knows what will happen, but it won't be the same as today. Next week is a new week. This will get better. Time will pass. You got this

7. Nothing lasts forever. These problems will pass and one day you'll look back and wonder why you ever doubted yourself. This too shall pass.

And most importantly, don't take life too seriously. It'll be good. Live in the present. Laugh. Love. This life has a lot of good to offer. This stress is not all your life will be. I promise.
