Matilda is a story by Roald Dahl about a gifted child growing up in an abusive household. She is strong-willed with a core sense of justice (even at 5 years old). This song from the musical adaptation is AWESOME.

You may feel helpless at times, but just remember that you are not confined to your fate. You get to control it. Even if you think you're too small to make a difference...you're not.

So if there's something you don't like about your fate—change it.
