"I am millions of particles fused together making up a far less than perfect masterpiece. I am the Big Bang."

This was part of a museum exhibit I went to about the social construct of race. At the end, they had tons of pictures of people, answering the question "who are you?" This woman's answer touched me.

So why don't you tell me: who are you? It doesn't have to be anything big or grand, but who are you right now, in this moment, who are you?

I am a girl who is simply trying to get through high school school in one piece, my weapons positivity and care. I am a music maker, a dreamer, a creator, and a lover. I am mistakes and I am pain but I am standing.

And I am beautiful.

And so are you.

No matter who you are right now, or who you were yesterday, or who you will be tomorrow, you are beautiful. So don't be afraid to show off that beauty to the world.
