Pasta!

That's right! My personal favorite comfort food of all time.

While a lot of people say carbs are bad for you, they actually DO make you happier. Carb-rich food releases energy slowly whilst simultaneously making us feel full and satisfied. Plus, pasta is full of protein, especially two important amino acids: L-pheny-lalanine and trytophan. I feel like we've talked about tryptophan before? With the bananas? Yeah? Basically, both release endorphins, our favorite mood elevating hormones.

Make sure you eat in moderation though, and whole grain is always a better option. Stay healthy!
