1 John 4:18

There is no fear in love but perfect love casts out fear.

In my understanding what this verse is saying is that you can't live in  fear of  God and at the same time love him because he has only given us the greatest ability which is to love as he himself is Love.

We can only live with the fear of God of who he really is and what he can really do for you ,not in the sense of being afraid of him ; if you do certain things there will be a consequence, but to truly treasure the fact of who he really is , and the amazing things he could really do in our lives this moment.

But if we love God we will not be scared of him. And we also have to remember he IS our FATHER, whenever you mention the word God, it should not link to something that is too superior for you to get close to but instead link it to someone that you can build a relationship with. Also for us to receive that love we have to be willing to do as he asks as we know following Gods perfect plan for our lives brings abundant blessings so why wouldn't you want to :).

Heavenly Father  thank you because you are always there for me  and you protect and guide me no matter what, lord thank you because I have been able to learn something today and I now know that I should not live in fear of you because your love for me is never ending and I pray that this verse will stay with us as I continue my day and help me to make the right decisions. In Jesus name I pray
