Unity is so important for people to see that Christians are different from the world. We need to be united in Christ rather than divided in opinions. We need to love one another, so people can see His love. He wants us to be one as Jesus and the Father are one.  This doesn't mean that issues don't matter. It just means we put Jesus before them. We can't let division keep us from showing love.
