"The final day of judgement will not result in annihilation of the present order but rather a complete renewal of that order. What will be annihilated is sin; thus the new creation will be the dwelling place of righteousness, a truly blissful home for the children of God. This promise gives the Christian hope and encouragement to remain steadfast in righteousness until the day of the Lord."
