Untitled Part 38
A week later, we see Ryan, Weiss and Winter on a Bullhead heading to Atlas. Apparently, Weiss and Winter were invited to a party by their father.
Both sisters decided to bring Ryan with them. And also to bring a pistol, SMG, tranquilizer darts, a Kevlar vest, a few frag grenades, shock gloves, a candy bar and a tire iron.
As Ryan, Weiss, and Winter boarded the Bullhead headed to Atlas, Ryan couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the array of items they brought along. He turned to Weiss with a questioning look.
"Uh, Weiss, I can understand the need for some self-defense items, but do we really need all of this?" Ryan gestured towards the arsenal of weapons and equipment they had brought.
Weiss exchanged a glance with Winter before responding. "Well, Ryan, we may be attending a party, but we can't let our guard down. It's no secret that our father's parties often attract some unsavory individuals. We want to be prepared for any situation that may arise."
Winter chimed in, adding, "Indeed, Ryan. We have to ensure our safety and the safety of those around us. It's always better to be over-prepared than under-prepared."
Ryan nodded, understanding their concern for safety. "Alright, I can respect that. Just make sure to keep the more... intense items discreet. We don't want to cause unnecessary panic or draw unwanted attention."
Weiss and Winter agreed, acknowledging Ryan's point. They stowed away some of the heavier weapons, leaving only the essentials within easy reach.
As the Bullhead continued its journey to Atlas, Ryan couldn't help but wonder what kind of party would warrant such precautions. Nonetheless, he was ready to support Weiss and Winter in whatever challenges they might face, even if it meant being on high alert throughout the event.
Little did they know, the upcoming party would be a night filled with unexpected twists and turns, putting their preparations to the test.
"Also. Did you really had to ask me to buy a LAV-25 for our ride to the party when we arrive at Atlas?" Ryan asked Winter as she and Weiss whistled innocently.
Winter exchanged a sheepish glance with Weiss before Winter replied, "Well, Ryan, we wanted to make a grand entrance and arrive in style. And what better way to do that than with an armored LAV-25? It adds a certain... flair to our arrival."
Ryan chuckled and shook his head in amusement. "Alright, Winter. I can't deny that it would be impressive. Just make sure we park it legally, okay? We don't want any unnecessary trouble before we even reach the party."
Winter nodded, understanding Ryan's concern. "Of course, Ryan. We'll make sure to find a suitable parking spot for the LAV-25, so we don't cause any disruptions."
With their plans in place and the Bullhead steadily approaching Atlas, the trio prepared themselves for an eventful evening. The combination of heightened security measures and an armored vehicle only added to the anticipation of what the party would bring.
Little did they know, their extravagant entrance and cautious preparations would become the talk of the night, setting the stage for a memorable and eventful evening in the world of high society in Atlas.
Finally, the Bullhead landed on Atlas and the group sees the LAV, "I'm driving."
Ryan said as he carried the duffel bag of his pistol, SMG, tranquilizer darts, a Kevlar vest, a few frag grenades, shock gloves, a candy bar and a tire iron.
"You're lucky he's your boyfriend." Winter said to Weiss as she smirks at Winter.
"And what if he was your boyfriend?" Weiss said to Winter with a raised eyebrow.
"Let's just say, he will be my future husband if he was my boyfriend." Winter said with a smile on her face. Weiss was speechless, but then nodded her head in agreement.
Ryan chuckled at the exchange between Weiss and Winter, appreciating their banter. He knew they were teasing each other in good fun, and it only added to the camaraderie between them. With a smirk on his face, he climbed into the driver's seat of the LAV-25, ready to take the wheel.
"Alright, ladies. Buckle up. It's going to be a memorable ride," Ryan said, his voice filled with excitement. Weiss and Winter quickly took their seats, strapping themselves in as they prepared for the journey.
As Ryan started the engine and the LAV-25 roared to life, the trio set off through the streets of Atlas, drawing attention from onlookers with their armored vehicle. They navigated the city, following the directions to the party venue while enjoying the breathtaking view of the floating city.
The journey was filled with laughter, playful banter, and occasional bursts of music blasting through the vehicle's speakers. Ryan expertly maneuvered the LAV-25 through the streets, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable ride for everyone.
Finally, they arrived at their destination, the venue of the grand party. Ryan parked the LAV-25 in a designated area, making sure it was safely positioned, and turned off the engine. The trio disembarked from the vehicle, ready to make their entrance into the glamorous event.
As they walked towards the entrance, Weiss couldn't help but glance at Ryan, a glimmer of admiration in her eyes. She was grateful to have him by her side, not only as a capable partner in combat but also as a loyal and trustworthy companion. Winter, too, couldn't deny the growing respect and fondness she felt for Ryan, recognizing his unique qualities that complemented her own.
Together, the trio stepped into the grand party, ready to make a lasting impression and embrace the night of festivities, knowing that their bond and shared experiences would make it a night to remember.
As they entered, they were met with quite a crowd of people.
Ryan adjusted his tie on the suit he's wearing and Winter and Weiss fixed his hair.
"Alright. Let's try to enjoy this party and not fuck up." Ryan said as the two Schnee sisters nodded.
Soon the group made their separate ways.
Ryan was over by the refreshments table enjoying the food and drinks. He also had on earbuds listening to other music as the classical music wasn't much his cup of tea.
As Ryan indulged in the delicious spread of food and drinks, he couldn't help but feel a few pairs of eyes on him. Little did he know, his presence had caught the attention of many female guests at the party. They couldn't help but be intrigued by his confident demeanor, charming smile, and undeniable charisma.
Some of the women exchanged curious glances, while others found excuses to pass by the refreshments table just to get a closer look at Ryan. Whispers of admiration and intrigue circulated among the guests, as they discussed the mysterious yet alluring stranger in their midst.
Ryan, however, remained blissfully unaware of the attention he was receiving. Lost in his own world, he continued to enjoy the music playing through his earbuds, occasionally swaying to the beat while sampling different delicacies from the buffet.
Meanwhile, Winter and Weiss mingled with the other guests, their elegance and grace catching the eye of many attendees. As the Schnee sisters engaged in conversations and made their rounds, they couldn't help but notice the subtle glances and envious stares directed towards Ryan. It brought a hint of amusement to their faces, knowing that their companion had unintentionally become the center of attention.
As the night progressed, Ryan's charm and magnetic presence would continue to captivate those around him. Whether he realized it or not, his casual demeanor and genuine personality made him even more appealing in the eyes of the intrigued guests. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation and curiosity, as everyone wondered who this charismatic stranger was and what stories he carried with him.
Little did they know, Ryan was about to embark on an evening filled with unexpected encounters, thrilling moments, and memories that would be etched in his mind forever. The party was just beginning, and the intrigue surrounding him was only the tip of the iceberg.
"Faunus lover..." Said a voice that made Ryan instantly grab his hidden Glock 19 as he turned to see the owner of said voice to none other than Jacques Schnee.
"Jacques." Ryan replied as he removed his hand from his gun.
"That's Mr. Schnee to you Blackburn." Jacques said to Ryan as he kept his glare on him, "I heard that both you and your Father George Blackburn had a reputation-"
Ryan cuts him off as he crosses his arms, "We HAVE a reputation. Get it right, Jacques. And the only ones I can call Mr. Schnee are your son Whitley and the previous owner of the Schnee Dust Company Nicholas Schnee."
The two continued to glare at each other while some to most of the guests stare.
Both the female guests and Weiss thought it was kinda of hot what Ryan is doing. While Winter had her scroll out to video it for later. She knew that such footage could prove valuable, both as a means of protecting Ryan and as evidence of Jacques' behavior.
Ryan maintained his composed stance, refusing to back down in the face of Jacques' intimidation. His grip on the Glock 19 gradually loosened as he recognized that resorting to violence would only escalate the situation further.
"Let's not make a scene, Mr. Schnee," Ryan replied coolly, his voice laced with a hint of defiance. "I have no interest in engaging in a petty feud with you. I'm here to enjoy the party, just like everyone else."
Ryan then glance at the small hidden camera. He then remembered what Weiss said and smiled to himself as he walked away with a huge amount of confidence in him.
Jacques thinking he won went back to chatting with other rich investors.
Meanwhile, Ryan continued walking the halls of the Schnee manor until he stopped at a door. He was about to knock till he spotted another hidden camera and waited. The door opened for Ryan to see Willow Schnee. Who is slightly drunk, but somewhat happy to see him.
"Saw your hidden cameras. My dad did say to come and see you when I become 18 and come to Atlas." Ryan said with a smile as Willow hugged him.
Willow Schnee, slightly taken aback by Ryan's comment about the hidden cameras, quickly composed herself and returned his smile. She embraced him warmly, grateful for his understanding.
"Ryan, my dear, it's good to see you," Willow said, her voice tinged with a hint of melancholy. "I'm sorry for all the surveillance. My husband can be quite paranoid."
Ryan shrugged it off, his smile unwavering. "No need to apologize, Mrs. Schnee. I've dealt with worse. Besides, it's not every day I get invited to a high-profile party like this."
Willow chuckled softly. "Well, I'm glad you're here. It's been quite some time since we last saw each other. Please, come in."
Ryan entered Willow's room, finding it to be a quiet sanctuary away from the bustling party outside. He noticed the presence of several family photographs adorning the walls, each capturing moments of the Schnee family's past.
As they settled into conversation, Willow poured a glass of wine for herself and offered Ryan a drink as well. They reminisced about old times, sharing stories and memories that brought both laughter and bittersweet nostalgia.
"I hope you're doing well, Ryan," Willow said, her gaze filled with genuine concern. "Your father would be proud of the person you've become."
Ryan nodded gratefully, his voice filled with sincerity. "Thank you, Mrs. Schnee. I've had my share of challenges, but I'm determined to make the best of what life throws at me. And I'm grateful for the opportunity to connect with you tonight."
The two continued their heartfelt conversation, finding solace in each other's presence amidst the opulence of the Schnee Manor.
"By the way. You don't happen to have the copy of the SDC deed, rights of ownership deed and ownership of all property and assets deed?" Ryan asked as Willow became wide eyed and immediately sobered up in shock.
"Your not planning on buying the SDC are you?!" Willow said in both surprise and shock.
However, Ryan showed her his scroll showing his bank account and she jaw drops at seeing it.
Then slowly she starts smiling and pulled out said deeds to Ryan and a pen for him to sign.
"After we show this to a lawyer and a few attorneys. I'm divorcing Jacques and moving to Vale. Maybe even I'll find a hobby." Willow said smiling from ear to ear.
"I can't say I'm surprised, considering everything that has happened," Ryan said, a determined glint in his eyes. "But I promise you, Mrs. Schnee, I will handle this responsibly and ensure that the SDC is in good hands."
Willow nodded, her smile unwavering. "I trust you, Ryan. You've proven yourself to be a capable and resourceful young man. And if there's anyone who can turn the SDC into something better, it's you."
Ryan took a deep breath and signed the necessary documents, making him the new owner of the Schnee Dust Company. It was a weighty responsibility, but he felt ready to take it on.
"Thank you, Mrs. Schnee, for believing in me," Ryan said sincerely. "I'll make sure your faith in me is not misplaced."
Willow embraced Ryan once again, this time with a mix of pride and gratitude. "I know you will, Ryan. And remember, you have my full support. If there's anything I can do to assist you in this new endeavor, don't hesitate to ask."
With a newfound sense of purpose, Ryan left the room, the weight of the deeds and the future of the Schnee Dust Company in his hands. He knew he had a challenging road ahead, but he was determined to reshape the company for the better and honor the legacy of his father.
As he rejoined the party, the guests unaware of the significant turn of events, Ryan couldn't help but feel a surge of anticipation and excitement for the future.
A few days later, we see a news report about a secret new owner of the Schnee Dust Company. It also shows that Jacques is not only getting a divorce trial, but both a trial for tax evasion, fraud, human rights, Faunus manual labor rights, having ties with known and former criminals and abusing his wife and daughters behind closed doors.
In the Beacon Academy cafeteria we see Ryan smiling at the news while Teams RWBY, JNPR, CFVY and SSSN are are jaw dropped at seeing Jacques' criminal charges.
Weiss meanwhile sips her drink with a smile.
While Ryan secretly looked at his Scroll and began firing the "bad and racist employees" of the SDC that he now owns, but no one else knows besides him, Willow, his lawyer and his attorneys.
As the news report continued to highlight Jacques' charges, the atmosphere in the Beacon Academy cafeteria grew tense. The students couldn't help but feel a mix of shock, anger, and relief at the revelations about Jacques' actions.
Ryan discreetly observed the reactions of his friends, noting the expressions of surprise and disbelief on their faces. He knew that this turn of events would have a significant impact on Weiss and her family, and he was glad to see her sipping her drink with a newfound sense of satisfaction.
While the others were still processing the news, Ryan took a moment to check his Scroll. With a determined look, he started making important decisions regarding the personnel at the Schnee Dust Company. His goal was clear: to remove those who perpetuated the discriminatory practices and foster a more inclusive and fair environment for all employees.
Ryan understood that the task ahead of him was immense, but he was determined to use his newfound power to make a positive change. His actions would be met with scrutiny, but he was prepared to face the challenges head-on. With the support of Willow, his lawyer, and his attorneys, he would work tirelessly to transform the Schnee Dust Company into a symbol of progress and equality.
As the students in the cafeteria continued to process the news, Ryan couldn't help but feel a sense of responsibility weighing on his shoulders. He knew that the path ahead would be difficult, but he was ready to face it, driven by his desire to honor his father's legacy and create a better future for the company and its employees.
With a determined resolve, Ryan closed his Scroll and joined his friends, prepared to face the challenges that lay ahead and make a lasting impact on the world of Remnant.
Meanwhile with Sienna Khan and the remaining members of the White Fang watched the news report with a mixture of relief and satisfaction. The charges against Jacques Schnee and the revelations of his actions aligned with their long-standing grievances against the Schnee Dust Company and its mistreatment of Faunus workers.
For Sienna, who had once been a prominent figure within the White Fang, it was a bittersweet moment. She couldn't help but feel a sense of vindication, as their cause for Faunus equality was finally gaining recognition. At the same time, she mourned the loss of lives and the suffering endured under Jacques' leadership.
Adam, who had taken a more radical and violent approach, saw the news as a validation of his actions. In his eyes, the exposure of Jacques' crimes was a testament to the necessity of their struggle. He believed that their militant efforts were finally yielding results.
As the celebrations ensued, Sienna and the White Fang members discussed the significance of the news and the opportunities it presented. They recognized that the fight for Faunus equality was far from over, but this turn of events had provided them with a renewed sense of hope and determination.
Sienna, now an influential figure among the White Fang, understood the importance of channeling their energy into productive and peaceful avenues. She emphasized the need for unity and strategized with her comrades on how to further their cause within the changing landscape of Remnant.
While the celebration carried on, Sienna remained mindful of the challenges that lay ahead. She knew that the road to true equality would require continued perseverance, dialogue, and a collective effort. With the news of Jacques' downfall, she saw an opportunity to work towards a more just and inclusive society, one where Faunus and humans could coexist in harmony.
Sienna Khan and the White Fang were ready to embrace this new chapter in their fight, determined to create a future where Faunus rights and dignity were respected by all.
However, some even Sienna and Adam wondered on who this new owner is.
Sienna Khan, with her keen insight and knowledge of the inner workings of the Schnee Dust Company, pieced together the puzzle and came to the realization of who the new owner might be. A smile formed on her lips as she understood the significance of keeping this information a secret.
Sienna understood that revealing the identity of the new owner could potentially compromise their plans and goals. Keeping it confidential would allow them to operate discreetly and make strategic decisions without unnecessary interference or opposition.
Additionally, Sienna recognized the power of anonymity. By keeping the owner's identity hidden, they could maintain an air of mystery and unpredictability. It would leave their enemies guessing, uncertain of who was pulling the strings behind the scenes.
She shared her thoughts with Adam, who also understood the importance of secrecy in their current situation. They both agreed that revealing the new owner's identity would be a strategic disadvantage. It was best to keep their cards close to their chests, utilizing this advantage to further their cause without unnecessary complications.
Sienna and Adam made a pact to protect the secret of the new owner's identity, ensuring that only a select few would be privy to this information. They believed that in due time, when the right moment arrived, they would reveal themselves and assert their vision for the future.
For now, Sienna Khan and Adam Taurus, along with the other members of the White Fang, focused on regrouping, rebuilding, and strategizing for the next phase of their mission. They were driven by the shared goal of achieving true equality for the Faunus, and the secret of the new owner's identity served as a powerful tool in their ongoing struggle.
A week later, we see Ryan(the new owner of the SDC) at the same diner he was at before.
As he ate a sandwich two people in disguises sat in front of him.
"Might as well order Ms. K(Sienna Khan) and Mr. T(Adam)." Ryan said addressing the two in front of him as this was a secret meeting between the SDC owner(Ryan) and the White Fang leaders(Sienna and Adam).
Sienna Khan and Adam Taurus, still in disguise, exchanged glances before Sienna spoke up. "Impressive, Mr. Blackburn. It seems you have a keen eye for detail."
Ryan nodded with a sly smile. "Well, when you're in this line of business, you learn to be observant."
Adam leaned forward, his voice low. "We have been watching your actions closely, Mr. Blackburn. Your acquisition of the Schnee Dust Company and the subsequent downfall of Jacques Schnee has not gone unnoticed."
Ryan took a sip of his drink, maintaining a calm demeanor. "I assume you have a reason for seeking this meeting?"
Sienna nodded. "Indeed, we do. We share a common goal, Mr. Blackburn. The pursuit of true equality for the Faunus. While our methods may differ, our ultimate objective aligns."
Ryan leaned back in his chair, studying their disguised faces. "I'm aware of your organization's history and the recent events involving the White Fang. The path you've chosen has been one of violence and extremism."
Adam's eyes narrowed, his voice filled with conviction. "We believe that desperate times call for desperate measures. The Faunus have suffered for far too long, and we are willing to do whatever it takes to secure their rights and freedom."
Ryan raised an eyebrow. "And what is it that you're proposing, Sienna?"
Sienna leaned forward, her voice confident. "A partnership, Mr. Blackburn. The resources and influence of the Schnee Dust Company, combined with the passion and determination of the White Fang, can create a formidable force. Together, we can bring about the change we seek."
Ryan considered their proposition, weighing the potential benefits and risks. After a moment of contemplation, he nodded. "Very well, Sienna. Let's work together. But make no mistake, our alliance will be on my terms. The days of violence and extremism are over. We will find a more strategic and diplomatic approach to achieve our goals."
Sienna and Adam exchanged glances once more, a silent agreement passing between them. They understood that this alliance would require compromises and adjustments in their methods.
As the meeting concluded, the three of them began discussing the details of their partnership, laying the groundwork for a new chapter in the struggle for Faunus equality. It was a delicate alliance, but one that held the potential to make a lasting impact on the world of Remnant.
"By the way. You two like karaoke?" Ryan asked as Sienna and Adam raised an eyebrow.
Next we see the three at the local Karaoke Bar singing 'Carry Out' by Justin Timberlake.
Adam and Ryan were surprised to hear how good Sienna's singing voice was.
Sienna belted out the lyrics with confidence and skill, surprising both Adam and Ryan with her impressive singing voice. As the song ended, the crowd erupted into applause, impressed by the unexpected talent of the White Fang leader.
Ryan grinned, clapping his hands. "Wow, Sienna! You've got some serious vocal chops!"
Adam nodded in agreement. "I didn't expect that, Sienna. You really know how to work a crowd."
Sienna smiled, a hint of pride in her eyes. "Thank you both. Music has always been a passion of mine, even amidst the chaos of our cause. It's a way to express myself and find solace in the midst of the struggle."
Ryan chuckled. "Well, consider me pleasantly surprised. Looks like we've got a secret weapon in our arsenal."
The trio continued to enjoy their time at the karaoke bar, taking turns singing various songs and reveling in the camaraderie that was forming between them. It was a brief respite from their responsibilities and the challenges that lay ahead, but it was a moment of unity and shared enjoyment that would strengthen their bond as they worked towards their shared goals.
