Untitled Part 37
"So. Who wants brownies?" Wanda said as she also bought a container of Fudge brownies.
"BROWNIES!!!!!" Yelled Ryan, Raven, Emerald and Cinder in unison and hunger as Wanda opens the container and the four began eating it with their hands like crazy.
Neo, Blake, Sienna and Vernal looked at Mrs. Blackburn with raised eyebrows, "If you tried my Fudge brownies. You'll act like that too."
The remaining members of the group chuckled at the sight of Ryan, Raven, Emerald, and Cinder devouring the brownies with unbridled enthusiasm. Neo, Blake, Sienna, and Vernal couldn't help but be intrigued by Mrs. Blackburn's claim about her fudge brownies.
Curiosity got the best of them, and they each reached out to take a brownie from the container. As they took their first bites, their eyes widened in delight. The rich, gooey texture and the perfect balance of sweetness were unlike anything they had tasted before.
"These are amazing!" Blake exclaimed, her mouth full of brownie.
Neo nodded in agreement, her eyes shining with approval. Sienna and Vernal exchanged satisfied glances as they savored each bite.
Wanda Blackburn smiled, pleased with their reactions. "I'm glad you all enjoy them. It's my secret recipe, passed down through generations," she said, a touch of pride in her voice.
The group continued to enjoy the delicious brownies, their previous tension dissipating as they bonded over the shared experience. In that moment, they found a brief respite from the challenges and conflicts that lay ahead, united by their love for this unexpected treat.
With newfound camaraderie and a renewed sense of purpose, they sat together, eating brownies and discussing their plans for the future. Their path was still uncertain, but they knew they would face it together, fueled by the warmth of friendship and the determination to bring about positive change in Remnant. And as they indulged in Mrs. Blackburn's delectable brownies, they couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope that, just maybe, a brighter tomorrow was within their reach.
A week later, we see Ryan with a few containers from home and brought it to the dormitory common room.
In the room was Teams RWBY, JNPR, CFVY and SSSN. Along with Glynda Goodwitch and Professor Ozpin.
"I'm glad you all came here. As myself and Blake knows what's in these containers." Ryan said as everyone raised eyebrows of confusion while Blake got up and stood next to Ryan.
"May I present to you all....My mother's Fudge brownies!!" Ryan said as he and Blake opened the containers. Glynda immediately started drooling and had a crazed look of hunger.
"Are they good?" Ruby asked as Blake and Ryan hand each of them a piece.
Glynda was seen eating her piece in the corner of the room making inhuman noises while eating the brownie.
The room fell into a temporary silence as everyone took a bite of the fudge brownies. Slowly, expressions of sheer bliss and delight spread across their faces.
"These are incredible!" exclaimed Jaune, his eyes wide with amazement.
Nora nodded vigorously, her mouth too full to speak, but her ecstatic expression said it all.
Ren, usually reserved, couldn't help but let out a satisfied hum of approval.
Coco, known for her impeccable taste, savored each bite with a contented smile.
Sun grinned from ear to ear, thoroughly enjoying the treat.
Yang, with a mischievous twinkle in her eyes, turned to Glynda. "I think we've found a new obsession for you, Professor," she said playfully.
Glynda, her face smudged with chocolate, finally managed to speak between bites. "These...are...heavenly," she declared, her voice laced with a mix of awe and pure satisfaction.
Ruby, always the enthusiast, clapped her hands in excitement. "Ryan, these are the best brownies I've ever tasted!"
Ryan and Blake exchanged pleased glances, their efforts to share the joy of Wanda Blackburn's fudge brownies with their friends and mentors proving to be a resounding success.
Professor Ozpin, with a soft smile on his face, addressed the group. "It seems we have stumbled upon a truly remarkable culinary treasure. Thank you, Ryan and Blake, for sharing this with us."
As the room filled with laughter, friendly banter, and the joyous sound of everyone indulging in the delicious brownies, they forged deeper connections and strengthened the bonds that would carry them through the challenges that lay ahead.
In that moment, surrounded by friends and the shared delight of Mrs. Blackburn's fudge brownies, they found solace, comfort, and a reminder that even amidst the turmoil of their lives, there was always room for simple pleasures and moments of pure happiness.
It was then Glynda shoves her face into one the containers eating the brownies like a wild animal. She stops mid way and takes the container with her, "MINE!!" She yelled and hissed at the others as she ran out of the room.
"Ignoring that. Who wants more?" Ryan asked as everyone got to enjoy another piece of the brownies.
Laughter filled the room as everyone indulged in more of the delectable fudge brownies. The atmosphere was light and joyful, as the rich flavors and comforting sweetness brought a sense of warmth and togetherness.
Each person savored their brownie, relishing in the heavenly taste and the shared experience. The room was filled with contented sighs and appreciative murmurs.
As they enjoyed the last of the brownies, a sense of camaraderie and gratitude permeated the air. It was a simple pleasure, but one that reminded them of the importance of friendship, laughter, and the moments that brought them closer together.
"Thank you, Ryan, for sharing your mother's incredible brownies with us," Weiss said with a smile, wiping a smudge of chocolate from the corner of her mouth.
Ryan nodded, his own smile widening. "It was my pleasure. I'm glad you all enjoyed them."
Ruby, with a mischievous glint in her eyes, added, "Maybe we should keep these brownies a secret. They're too good to share with anyone else!"
Laughter erupted once again, as they all agreed to keep the exceptional quality of Mrs. Blackburn's fudge brownies within their close-knit group.
With full bellies and hearts, they spent the rest of the evening in good company, cherishing the bond they had formed over delicious treats and shared experiences. And as they continued their journey at Beacon Academy, they knew that moments like these would be cherished and remembered, reminding them of the joys and connections that fueled their determination to protect Remnant and forge a better future.
Later that night, we see Ryan sleeping in his dorm room bed.
"Wake up." Someone said but Ryan ignored it.
"WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!" The person shouted and punch Ryan in the gut waking him up.
"Who the fu-" "Brownies..." Ryan turns on the light to see Glynda 2in from his face and asking for brownies. At 2:37am.
Startled by Glynda's sudden intrusion and demand for brownies, Ryan rubbed his eyes and sat up in bed, trying to make sense of the situation.
"Glynda, it's the middle of the night. Can't it wait until morning?" Ryan groaned, still half-asleep.
"No, it can't wait!" Glynda insisted, her eyes wide with desperation. "I need those brownies. Now."
Ryan sighed, realizing he wouldn't be able to go back to sleep until he appeased Glynda's insatiable craving. He reached into the drawer next to his bed, retrieving a container of Mrs. Blackburn's fudge brownies and handed it to her.
"Here. Just take them and let me sleep," Ryan muttered, his voice tinged with both annoyance and amusement.
Glynda eagerly grabbed the container, her eyes shining with delight. She wasted no time, diving into the brownies as if they were the most precious treasure.
Ryan watched in bewilderment as Glynda devoured the brownies with gusto, crumbs and smears of chocolate smudging her face. It was a sight that both amused and bewildered him.
"Are you satisfied now?" Ryan asked, a mix of disbelief and humor in his voice.
Glynda, her mouth full of brownie, managed to give him a satisfied nod. She mumbled something that sounded like "thank you" before retreating from the room, leaving a perplexed Ryan behind.
As he settled back into bed, he couldn't help but chuckle to himself at the absurdity of the situation. Who would have thought that a late-night brownie craving from Glynda Goodwitch would disrupt his sleep?
With a smile on his face, Ryan closed his eyes, hoping that he could finally get some much-needed rest, knowing that Glynda's sweet tooth had been appeased, at least for the time being.
The next morning, a tired Ryan walks up to Goodwitch personal dorm room and opens the door.
"Hey Glynda, did you go in RWBY's dorm room and steal Ruby's cookies ag-Jesus that's fat ass...." Ryan said as he noticed Glynda was checking herself out on a mirror.
She chocolate stains and her mouth was covered in chocolate. She looked at Ryan with a hint of worry.
"Do you think I gotten fat?" Glynda asked Ryan.
Ryan, realizing the precarious situation he found himself in, quickly assessed the best course of action. He knew better than to answer Glynda's question directly, especially when it involved weight or appearance. Instead of responding, he decided to employ a tactful diversionary tactic.
"Hey, Glynda, have you seen my scroll? I think I left it in the common room," Ryan said, feigning a distracted tone as he glanced around the room, deliberately avoiding looking directly at Glynda.
Glynda, momentarily caught off guard by Ryan's abrupt change of subject, momentarily forgot about her question about her weight. She turned her attention to helping Ryan locate his scroll, momentarily forgetting about her appearance.
As they searched the room, Ryan made sure to keep the conversation light and focused on neutral topics, effectively diverting Glynda's attention away from her earlier question.
After a few minutes, Ryan managed to find his scroll conveniently placed on a nearby desk, much to his relief. He thanked Glynda for her help and quickly made his exit, leaving her to ponder her reflection once again.
As Ryan left the room, he couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. He knew he had successfully avoided a potentially sensitive topic, preserving both his own well-being and their working relationship.
Lesson learned, Ryan reminded himself to tread carefully when it came to discussions about weight or appearance with his colleagues, especially someone as unpredictable as Glynda Goodwitch.
Later, that question was asked again to Ryan by Coco.
"Hey Ryan, be honest with me. Do you think I have gotten chubby?"
'Shit!' Ryan's thoughts yelled.
Ryan found himself in another delicate situation, facing Coco's question about her body. He took a deep breath, reminding himself of the importance of sensitivity and choosing his words carefully.
"Coco," Ryan began, speaking with a gentle tone, "I think you look great just the way you are. Your appearance doesn't define your worth, and it's important to focus on feeling confident and healthy rather than specific measurements or sizes."
He paused for a moment, considering his words before continuing, "It's normal for our bodies to go through changes, and what matters most is how you feel about yourself. If you're happy and comfortable in your own skin, then that's all that really matters."
Ryan hoped that his response would reassure Coco and shift the focus from her body image to a more positive and empowering perspective. He wanted to emphasize the importance of self-acceptance and self-love, encouraging Coco to prioritize her well-being and happiness over any external judgments or expectations.
Later, again that question was asked.
"Hey Ryan, you think I gotten chubby lately?" Ruby asked Ryan.
"Uhhh....No entiendo inglés señorita." Ryan panicked and spoke Spanish.
Ryan's attempt to divert the question by pretending not to understand English didn't quite work as he hoped, as Ruby looked at him with confusion.
"Ryan, I know you understand English," Ruby said, raising an eyebrow.
Ryan scratched the back of his head, realizing his attempt to dodge the question had failed. "Okay, okay. Honestly, Ruby, I think you look fantastic. Your body hasn't changed in any negative way. You're strong, agile, and always ready to take on any challenge. Your physical appearance doesn't define your worth, and you shouldn't worry about minor fluctuations. Just keep being the awesome, heroic Ruby Rose that we all know and love."
Ryan hoped his response would help alleviate any concerns Ruby had and remind her that her value extended far beyond her physical appearance. He wanted her to feel confident and empowered, embracing her unique qualities and strengths that made her who she was.
"Thanks. Because...." Ruby said as she finally breathes out and a few buttons and zippers come undone, "I think I grew out my old outfit. Even my butt got bigger." She said as indeed her butt did get bigger and Ryan bites his bottom lip.
"Damn. Nice ass." Ryan said quietly.
Ryan's comment caught Ruby off guard, and she blushed, quickly covering up the undone buttons and zippers on her outfit.
"Um... thanks, I guess," Ruby responded, a mix of surprise and embarrassment evident on her face. "But that's not really the point I was trying to make. I was just expressing my concern about the fit of my outfit."
Realizing his slip-up, Ryan quickly tried to backtrack. "Oh, uh, sorry! I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. It's just... you know, I noticed the change, but that doesn't mean it's a bad thing. You still look great, and your outfit can be adjusted or replaced if needed. The important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident in whatever you wear."
Ruby nodded, accepting Ryan's explanation. "Yeah, you're right. I shouldn't stress too much about it. Thanks for the reassurance, Ryan."
Ryan nodded back, relieved that Ruby seemed to understand his intentions. "No problem, Ruby. Just remember that your worth isn't determined by your appearance. You're an amazing huntress, a great friend, and that's what truly matters."
With that, the conversation shifted, and they continued their day, both appreciating the support and understanding they provided for each other.
Later, Ryan mentally prepares himself if the next girl asked that question.
He sees Weiss coming up to him.
"Ryan sweetie. Do you think I need to gain more weight?" Weiss asked as Ryan wasn't prepared for that question.
Ryan's mind raced as he tried to come up with a suitable response. He didn't want to say the wrong thing and potentially upset Weiss, but he also didn't want to dismiss her concerns.
"Um, Weiss, I think you look great just the way you are," Ryan replied, trying to choose his words carefully. "But ultimately, it's your body and your decision. If you feel like you want to gain weight for your own reasons, then that's something you can explore. However, it's important to prioritize your health and well-being above anything else."
He paused for a moment before adding, "But please remember that your worth is not defined by your appearance. You're intelligent, talented, and kind-hearted, and those qualities shine through regardless of your size or shape."
Weiss listened attentively to Ryan's response, considering his words. "You're right, Ryan," she finally said, a small smile forming on her face. "Thank you for reminding me of what truly matters. Sometimes I get too caught up in my appearance, but there are more important aspects of who I am."
Ryan smiled back, relieved that his response seemed to have resonated with Weiss. "I'm glad I could help, Weiss. Just know that you're a remarkable person, inside and out."
With their conversation concluded, Ryan and Weiss continued their day, their friendship strengthened by their honest and supportive exchange.
Not a minute later, Yang came and asked Ryan a question.
"Hey sexy man, you think my boobs got bigger?" Yang asked Ryan as he was now thinking of jumping out the window next to him.
Ryan's mind went into overdrive as Yang posed her question. He was caught off guard once again, not expecting such a direct inquiry about her physical appearance.
"Uh, Yang," he stammered, trying to find the right words, "I think you're beautiful just the way you are. Your body is unique and perfect in its own way, and it's not about the size of any particular body part. Confidence and self-acceptance are what truly matter."
He took a deep breath, trying to regain his composure. "But remember, your worth isn't determined by your physical attributes. You're strong, talented, and compassionate, and those qualities shine through in everything you do. It's those qualities that make you truly attractive, not just any specific physical feature."
Yang looked at Ryan with a mix of surprise and gratitude. "Wow, Ryan, that's actually really sweet," she said, a genuine smile forming on her face. "You always know how to make me feel better. Thanks for reminding me of what's important."
Ryan exhaled in relief, glad that his response had resonated with Yang. "Of course, Yang. You're an incredible person, and your value extends far beyond any physical aspect. Embrace your uniqueness, and let your inner beauty shine."
With their conversation coming to an end, Yang gave Ryan a warm hug before heading off, leaving him feeling both relieved and grateful for their friendship.
Not a second later, Velvet came and asked a question. That Ryan was very much prepared for.
"Hi Ryan, what do you think is a better weapon? Ruby's Crescent Rose or your M82 Barrett 50cal Sniper Rifle with armor pricing rounds."
Ryan's eyes lit up at Velvet's question, relieved that it was about weapons rather than personal appearance. He couldn't help but smile as he delved into the topic.
"Ah, Velvet, great question! Both Ruby's Crescent Rose and my M82 Barrett 50cal Sniper Rifle are impressive weapons in their own right, but they serve different purposes. Crescent Rose is a versatile weapon, capable of transforming between a scythe and a high-powered sniper rifle. It allows Ruby to engage enemies up close or take precise long-range shots with its sniper functionality. The combination of melee and ranged capabilities makes it a formidable choice."
He paused for a moment, adjusting his stance as he continued. "Now, my M82 Barrett 50cal Sniper Rifle is a specialized long-range weapon. It's designed for extreme accuracy and power, capable of taking out targets from great distances. The armor-piercing rounds it uses can penetrate even heavily fortified defenses, making it a valuable asset in certain situations."
Ryan's excitement grew as he spoke about the technical aspects of the weapons. "In terms of raw firepower, the M82 Barrett definitely has the edge, but Crescent Rose offers greater versatility and agility. It ultimately depends on the user's style and the specific combat scenario. Ruby's weapon suits her agile and acrobatic fighting style, while the M82 Barrett excels in long-range precision engagements."
He concluded with a grin, pleased to have the opportunity to discuss his favorite topic. "So, to answer your question, both weapons are impressive in their own ways, and it ultimately comes down to personal preference and the demands of the situation at hand."
Velvet nodded, appreciating Ryan's detailed response. "Thanks, Ryan! You really know your stuff when it comes to weapons. It's always interesting to hear your insights."
Ryan's smile widened, happy to have engaged in a conversation that aligned with his expertise. "Anytime, Velvet! If you ever want to discuss weapons or tactics further, I'm always here. It's a passion of mine, and I enjoy sharing knowledge with fellow enthusiasts."
With that, Velvet thanked him once again and went off, leaving Ryan feeling fulfilled and invigorated by the weapon-focused discussion.
