Untitled Part 33
Ryan's words echoed in his mind as he felt a sudden urge to find Emerald. He had a feeling that she might be in trouble or in need of assistance. Trusting his instincts, he set off on a mission to locate her.
Back at the wooden box, Emerald's hands scraped against the rough surface as she desperately tried to free herself. She had found herself trapped underground, with no recollection of how she ended up in this predicament. Panic and fear gripped her, but she refused to give in to despair.
Just as Emerald's strength was waning, she heard a faint sound in the distance. It was a muffled voice, and it seemed to be getting closer. She strained her ears, hoping for help or rescue.
Suddenly, the ground above her began to tremble, and dirt started falling into the box. A beam of light pierced through the darkness as the lid of the box was lifted. Emerald shielded her eyes, adjusting to the sudden brightness.
"Emerald, are you alright?" Ryan's concerned voice reached her ears as she squinted to see him standing above her.
"Ryan? How did you find me?" Emerald asked, a mixture of relief and disbelief washing over her.
"I don't know, it's like something led me to you," Ryan replied, extending a hand to help her out of the box. "Are you hurt?"
Emerald shook her head, feeling a mix of gratitude and confusion. "I don't remember how I ended up here. It's all a blur."
Ryan's expression turned serious as he helped her out of the hole. "We'll figure it out later. Right now, let's get you out of here."
Together, they made their way out of the underground confinement. Emerald took a moment to gather her thoughts, feeling a mixture of gratitude and curiosity towards Ryan's timely arrival.
"Thank you, Ryan," she said sincerely. "I don't know how you found me, but I'm grateful you did."
Ryan smiled, his eyes filled with determination. "We're a team, Emerald. We look out for each other. We'll get to the bottom of this and find out what happened."
As they walked away from the wooden box, Emerald couldn't help but feel a sense of reassurance. She knew that with Ryan by her side, they would face whatever challenges came their way. And together, they would uncover the truth behind her mysterious confinement.
It was then Ryan noticed a tranquilizer dart on Emerald's butt.
"Hey Emmy, you have tranquilizer dart on your ass." Ryan said as the dart also had a message saying, 'From Baby Ruby with love~'
"Looks like Baby Ruby has a mischievous side," Ryan remarked, plucking the dart carefully from Emerald's butt. "I guess this was her way of leaving her mark on you."
Emerald rolled her eyes, but a small smile tugged at the corners of her lips. "She certainly knows how to make an impression."
As they continued on their way, Ryan couldn't shake the feeling that Baby Ruby's actions were connected to something bigger. The surprises and mischief left in her wake seemed to hold a purpose, a message that Ryan couldn't decipher just yet. But he was determined to uncover the truth.
"Let's keep an eye out for any more unexpected surprises," Ryan said, glancing at Emerald. "Something tells me that Baby Ruby's antics might lead us to something important."
Emerald nodded, her curiosity piqued. "I'm with you, Ryan. Whatever this leads to, we'll face it together."
With renewed determination, Ryan and Emerald ventured forward, ready to unravel the mysteries surrounding Baby Ruby's pranks and discover the hidden truths that lay ahead. Little did they know that their journey would bring them face to face with unexpected allies, dangerous adversaries, and revelations that would challenge everything they thought they knew. But they were prepared to confront it all, their bond growing stronger with each step they took.
A week later, we see Ryan heading to the dormitory common room. He was invited by Ozpin.
As he entered, Teams RWBY, JNPR, CFVY, SSSN, FNKI, NDGO, ABRN, BRNZ and CMEN. Plus Ozpin, Winter, Glynda and Peach yelled out, "Surprise! Happy 18th Birthday Ryan!!"
Ryan's eyes widened in surprise as he stepped into the dormitory common room, only to be greeted by a chorus of voices shouting "Surprise!" The room was adorned with colorful decorations, balloons, and a table filled with delicious-looking treats. It took him a moment to process what was happening.
"Wow! This is... incredible!" Ryan exclaimed, a wide grin spreading across his face. "You guys really went all out. Thank you so much!"
As he looked around, he saw familiar faces from all the teams, as well as the presence of Ozpin, Winter, Glynda, and Peach. It was a heartwarming sight, knowing that they had come together to celebrate his 18th birthday.
Ruby stepped forward, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "We couldn't let your special day go unnoticed, Ryan! You've been such an amazing friend and teammate, and we wanted to show our appreciation."
Ryan's heart swelled with gratitude as he thanked each person individually. It was a joyous occasion, filled with laughter, shared memories, and a sense of camaraderie that bound them all together.
As the celebration continued, Ryan couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment. He was surrounded by friends who had become like family, and their support and presence meant the world to him.
"This is the best birthday ever," Ryan whispered to himself, soaking in the happiness that enveloped the room. It was a day he would cherish, a reminder of the bonds they had formed and the adventures that awaited them in the future.
The next day, we see Ryan and his girlfriends(RWBY, Pyrrha, Nora, Coco, Velvet, Penny, Emerald, Neo and Cinder) heading to his house to meet his mom.
Most of the girls were either excited, nervous or scared to meet his mother.
Some even wore a business suits.
As they see the house in the middle of a large pot of land, Ryan gives the girls a quick reminder.
"Remember, no swearing, no lewd comments, no terrible puns and no yelling."
"Don't worry, boyfriend Ryan! You can count on us to behave!" Penny reassured as the rest nods in agreement.
"Cool. Oh and watchout for the landmines." Ryan said as the girls blinked in confusion.
"Landmines?" Yang said when suddenly a click was heard then an explosion happens not to far from them.
"There goes another lizard. And yeah, landmines. My parents and I plant them just incase for Grimm." Ryan calmly said as if the explosion wasn't there.
The girls exchanged surprised glances, their eyes widening at the mention of landmines. It was certainly an unconventional security measure, but they understood the need for precautions in a world infested with Grimm. They carefully followed Ryan, treading cautiously as they made their way towards his house.
As they approached the front door, Ryan's mother, Mrs. Blackburn, opened it and greeted them with a warm smile. She was a kind and welcoming woman, her eyes lighting up as she saw her son and his companions.
"Ryan, dear, you've brought some lovely guests!" Mrs. Blackburn exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with delight. "Please, come in. Make yourselves at home."
The girls entered the house, their nervousness dissipating as they were met with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Mrs. Blackburn had prepared refreshments and snacks, which they eagerly enjoyed while engaging in conversations with each other and Ryan's mother.
Throughout their visit, the girls made an effort to adhere to Ryan's reminders. They conducted themselves with grace and respect, refraining from any inappropriate comments or behavior. It was clear that they wanted to make a good impression on Mrs. Blackburn, showcasing their best selves.
As the afternoon unfolded, the girls found themselves warming up to Mrs. Blackburn. She was genuinely interested in getting to know each of them, asking about their backgrounds, interests, and aspirations. The conversations flowed naturally, and laughter filled the air as stories were shared and bonds were formed.
By the time it was time to leave, the girls felt a sense of gratitude and affection towards Mrs. Blackburn. She had welcomed them into her home with open arms, and they were grateful for the opportunity to meet the woman who had raised Ryan with such love and care.
As they bid their farewells and headed back to Beacon Academy, the girls couldn't help but feel a deep sense of appreciation for the day's experience. Meeting Ryan's mother had allowed them to glimpse into his upbringing and the values that shaped him into the person they loved.
It was a memorable day, one that strengthened the bond between Ryan and his girlfriends, and reaffirmed their commitment to each other as they faced the challenges and adventures that lay ahead.
A week later, we see a nervous wreck Blake Belladonna and a calm and collective Ryan Blackburn on a boat to Menagerie.
Blake wanted to have Ryan meet her parents. But after they got on the boat Blake realized a couple of things.
1) She hasn't communicated with her parents in six years.
2) She doesn't know how they'll react seeing her after so long.
3) Menagerie is the home of the Faunus. And humans are more or less banned from entering.
4) Ryan is a human.
5) Ryan is a human who is carrying a M416 assault rifle and M1911A1 pistol.
"Fuck this! We got to leave!" Blake said as she was about to jump in the water and probably swim back to Vale when Ryan grabs her butt stopping her.
"You did warn me that you'll do something like this." Ryan said as he gives a little squeeze, "Squishy and thick. Plus didn't you say that you really wanted to finally meet up with your parents after so long?" Ryan said to her as she sighs.
"Yeah..." Blake said as her cat faunus ears dropped in sadness.
Ryan took Blake's hand in his, offering her a reassuring smile. "I understand your concerns, Blake. It's completely normal to feel nervous in a situation like this. But remember, I'm here with you. We'll face whatever comes together."
He gently pulled her back from the edge of the boat, ensuring she was safe. "I know Menagerie can be a complicated place, but we won't know what will happen until we try. And besides, your parents deserve a chance to see their daughter again."
Blake nodded, appreciating Ryan's support. She knew deep down that he was right. She couldn't let fear hold her back from reconnecting with her family, especially after all these years. Taking a deep breath, she mustered up her determination.
"You're right, Ryan," Blake said, her voice filled with determination. "I can't let fear stop me from seeing my parents. Let's go to Menagerie and face whatever challenges come our way. Together."
Ryan grinned and squeezed her hand. "That's the spirit, Blake. We'll face it together, and I promise I'll do everything I can to keep you safe."
With renewed resolve, Blake and Ryan continued their journey to Menagerie. They knew the road ahead wouldn't be easy, but they were ready to confront the unknown and find closure with Blake's past. They would navigate the complexities of Menagerie, crossing the boundaries between humans and Faunus, with their love and support guiding them every step of the way.
