Untitled Part 23

Glynda slowly regained her composure, her hair slightly frazzled and her expression a mix of annoyance and disbelief. The sight of Ryan, Team RWBY, and Team JNPR standing before her with smug looks on their faces only added to her growing frustration.

"You all find this amusing, don't you?" Glynda finally spoke, her voice laced with a hint of irritation.

Ruby, unable to contain her excitement, grinned widely. "Well, you did steal my cookies and jump out the window, Glynda. Consider this a little payback."

Jaune chuckled, feeling a sense of satisfaction in seeing their usually stern professor momentarily caught off guard. "You always say it's important to be prepared, Glynda. I guess that includes being prepared for a harmless prank, too."

Glynda sighed, her annoyance giving way to a begrudging acknowledgment of their playful retaliation. "I suppose I had that coming. Well played, all of you."

Weiss, with a smirk on her face, added, "Consider it a lesson in the art of mischief. Just a small taste of what it feels like to be on the receiving end."

Yang joined in, unable to resist a playful jab. "And let's not forget your sudden fascination with sweets. We thought we'd provide you with a little shock therapy to curb those cravings."

Blake, ever the voice of reason, spoke up. "But we hope you understand it was all in good fun, Glynda. We didn't mean any harm."

Glynda, now fully composed, nodded, a faint smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "I suppose a little mischief never hurt anyone, as long as it's all in good fun. Consider this a valuable lesson learned."

Ryan, watching the exchange with amusement, chimed in. "Well, Glynda, I hope this teaches you not to mess with a man's cookies and a team's unity. Pranks are best served in moderation."

Glynda nodded, her tone filled with a touch of amusement. "I will certainly keep that in mind, Ryan."

As the laughter subsided and the atmosphere lightened, Team RWBY, Team JNPR, and Glynda found themselves sharing a moment of camaraderie. It was a reminder that even the most serious individuals could appreciate a little mischief and playful banter from time to time.

With the prank behind them, the group dispersed, returning to their respective activities with a renewed sense of camaraderie and a shared memory of the morning's antics.

As Glynda limps away, she couldn't help but chuckle to herself, satisfied with the successful execution of their playful revenge. It was just another day at Beacon Academy, filled with surprises, laughter, and the bonds that continued to strengthen between teammates and friends.

After Goodwitch limps away to the infirmary. Team RWBY and Team JNPR looked at Ryan and he nodded. "I'll install the Burglar Security System to your dorms too."

"Say how strong is it?" Pyrrha said as she was about to touch the doorknob.

"PYRRHA NO!!!"

Ryan cried out, but it was too late as Pyrrha gets electrocuted with 50,000 volts as the Burglar Security System is still on.

Ryan's eyes widened in horror as he watched Pyrrha get shocked by the electrified doorknob. He quickly rushed to her side, making sure to turn off the Burglar Security System and carefully helping her back up.

"Pyrrha, are you alright? I'm so sorry, I should have warned you earlier," Ryan apologized, his concern evident in his voice.

Pyrrha, still recovering from the shock, managed a weak smile. "It's... alright, Ryan. I should have listened. Lesson learned."

Ryan helped Pyrrha to a nearby chair, making sure she was comfortable. The rest of Team RWBY and Team JNPR gathered around, their expressions filled with concern.

Ruby spoke up, her voice tinged with worry. "We need to be more careful with the security system, Ryan. We don't want anyone else getting hurt."

Ryan nodded, his face reflecting his regret. "You're right, Ruby. Safety should always be our top priority. I'll make the necessary adjustments to ensure it won't happen again."

Jaune placed a reassuring hand on Ryan's shoulder. "Don't beat yourself up about it, Ryan. Accidents happen. We're all learning here."

Glynda, having recovered from her earlier shock, approached the group with a stern expression. "While pranks and security systems can be entertaining, it's important to remember that safety should never be compromised. I trust you all understand the seriousness of this matter."

The group nodded in agreement, their faces reflecting a renewed sense of caution.

Ryan took a deep breath, determined to rectify the situation. "I'll make sure the Burglar Security System is properly calibrated and safe for everyone. No more accidental shocks."

As the group dispersed, Pyrrha stood up, still a little shaken but appreciative of the concern shown by her teammates and Ryan. "Thank you, Ryan. I know you didn't mean for this to happen."

Ryan smiled apologetically. "You're right, Pyrrha. I never wanted anyone to get hurt. I'll do my best to ensure everyone's safety in the future."

With a sense of unity and understanding, Team RWBY and Team JNPR continued their day, now with a greater appreciation for the importance of safety and communication. And as for Ryan, he made it his mission to fine-tune the Burglar Security System, ensuring it served its purpose without putting anyone in harm's way.

The next day, we see Ryan in a diner. He gotten a letter from someone, but it was unknown. So right now he's waiting for them.

But under his T-shirt is a Kevlar Vest and in his back pockets is a Lightning Dust Crystal and a Glock 18.

He sees two women in sunglasses, a floppy big hat and wearing a trenchcoat. The two sit at the table where Ryan is.

"You two the messenger?" Ryan asked as he slowly and stealthy reaching for the Glock 18.

Both women took off the sunglasses to reveal Vernal and her boss Raven.

"Hey Ry-" before Raven could finish Ryan jumps out the window breaking it and running away.

As Ryan jumped out of the window, Vernal and Raven exchanged confused glances. They quickly got up from the table and followed him, but Ryan was already making a swift escape. He ran through the crowded streets, weaving through the bustling crowd to put some distance between him and the unexpected visitors.

Raven's voice echoed behind him. "Ryan, wait! It's not what you think!"

Ryan didn't slow down. He couldn't trust them just yet. He needed to assess the situation and ensure his safety. He dashed into an alley, his mind racing with thoughts of who could have sent them and what their intentions might be.

After a few minutes, Ryan found a hiding spot behind a dumpster, catching his breath as he listened for any signs of pursuit. He looked at the letter he had received earlier, pondering its contents and the unexpected appearance of Raven and Vernal.

Curiosity got the better of him, and he decided to read the letter. It was a message from an anonymous source, warning him of a potential threat to his life. The letter urged him to be cautious and prepared for any danger that might come his way.

Ryan's grip tightened on the Glock 18. He had always been trained to be ready for anything, and this situation was no exception. He knew he couldn't let his guard down, even with familiar faces like Raven and Vernal.

As he carefully made his way through the back alleys, Ryan contemplated his next move. Should he confront Raven and Vernal, or should he keep his distance and gather more information? The letter had warned him of possible deception and manipulation.

With a determined look on his face, Ryan decided to trust his instincts. He would proceed with caution and seek out allies he could rely on to uncover the truth behind the mysterious message and the unexpected visit from Raven and Vernal.

But for now, he needed to stay hidden, ensuring his safety and planning his next move. The game had just gotten more dangerous, and Ryan was determined to emerge victorious.

"Got you, cute boy!"

Said Vernal jumping and hugging Ryan's back tightly. Ryan was shocked to see her, but remembers Raven's semblance and the fact both he and her have a connection.

"Look handsome, we just want to talk." Raven said coming out from a corner.

"Wait? So you two are not after my life?" Hearing this Raven and Vernal showed Ryan the same message from an anonymous source, warning him of a potential threat to his life.

"So all three of us?" Raven and Vernal can only nod.

Ryan's initial shock turned into confusion as he processed the situation. He looked at the message again, comparing it to the one he had received earlier. The similarity between the warnings was undeniable. It seemed that all three of them were potential targets.

Relaxing his guard slightly, Ryan took a step back, allowing Vernal to release her grip on him. "Alright, let's talk," he said, his tone cautious but open. "But I need some answers first. Who sent these messages? And why would someone be targeting us?"

Raven sighed, her expression serious. "We don't know who sent the messages. It was an anonymous source, someone who seemed to have information about the danger we were facing. As for the reasons behind the threat, we can only speculate. There are many enemies out there, and our past actions might have caught up with us."

Ryan nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. He had been involved in numerous conflicts and made his fair share of enemies along the way. But to have a specific threat looming over him, Raven, and Vernal raised the stakes significantly.

"Alright," Ryan said, his voice determined. "We need to find out who's behind this and why they're targeting us. We can't afford to take this lightly."

Raven and Vernal agreed, their expressions mirroring Ryan's determination. It was clear that they needed to work together, pooling their resources and skills to unravel the mystery and protect themselves from the imminent danger.

As they formed a temporary alliance, Ryan couldn't help but feel a glimmer of trust emerging. Perhaps, in this uncertain situation, they could find common ground and forge a path forward.

"Hold on, I know someone who can provide some help on identifying our anonymous source." Ryan said as he quickly started texting on his scroll.

"Are they trustworthy?" Vernal said as she was cautious. "More like they'll come any-and she's here."

Ryan said as Neo was hugging Ryan's back making Raven and Vernal jealous.

Neo using her scroll to talk typed, "Who are they?"

"Raven and Vernal. Remember, the bandits I talked about via the text." Ryan said as Neo nods her head remembering the text.

"Trust is a delicate matter, but under these circumstances, we don't have much of a choice," Ryan replied, his voice laced with determination. "We need all the help we can get to uncover the truth and protect ourselves. Neo, Raven, Vernal, let's work together and find out who sent those messages."

Neo nodded in agreement, her expression serious and focused. She understood the gravity of the situation and was willing to lend her skills to the cause. Ryan then turned to Raven and Vernal, meeting their gazes.

"Are you in?" he asked, his voice filled with conviction.

Raven and Vernal exchanged another look before nodding in unison. "We're in," Raven confirmed. "But remember, this is a temporary alliance. Once we've dealt with this threat, we go our separate ways."

Ryan acknowledged their agreement. He knew that the bond forged in adversity could be tenuous, but for now, they shared a common goal and would work together to achieve it.

With their alliance solidified and Neo's expertise in gathering information, they now had a better chance of uncovering the identity of the anonymous source and the reasons behind the threats. The four of them set off, determined to confront the looming danger head-on and ensure their survival in the face of the unknown.
