"Bwuce," Dick sang while he ran down the hall, peering his head into every room looking for Bruce. It's around 7 pm and Dick needs to show Bruce something amazing!

   Dick ran back into the kitchen." Where's Bwuce," he asked Alfred.

   Alfred stood their drying the dishes, from their dinner, which Bruce wasn't at." Perhaps, the batcave, master Dick," he suggested.

  "Ok," Dick said, running to Bruce's office. He opened the clock and started his descent with his surprise. He peeks down to see Bruce's back. Bruce scans his eyes over the computer screen and continues his work.

   As silently as Dick could, he crawled behind Bruce's chair. He proceeded to just onto the back to Bruce's chair, yanking hit back.

  "Ahhhh," Bruce faked being scared, as his chair tilted backwards." Dickie," he gave a fake relieved voice. Dick giggled.

   "I have a surprise and you have to close your eyes, okay," Dick stated." Are your eyes closed," he asked, and Bruce covered his eyes with his hands. Bruce was truthfully a little scared of what Dick might have. Dick is quite a fearless child.

  "Ok open," Dick said as he had already twisted Bruce's chair to face him. Bruce opened his eyes.

  In front of his stood his little son...... in a complete Batman uniform. It had everything his did. From pockets, to scuff mark, even a cape.

  Dick stood proudly with his hands on his hips. His eyes were closed and a little smile slipped on to his face. He then remembered the cowl, so he fumbled to pull it over his head. Bruce couldn't help but smile.

  "Do I look like you," Dick questioned, walking up and sitting in Bruce's lap.

   "Of course you do my little bird! Did Alfred make it," he ask.

  Dick nodded then put his head against Bruce's chest and cuddled into it. Bruce wrapped his muscular arms around little Dick, hugging him tight. He pulled back Dick's cowl to see his baby's bright blue eyes.

Bruce gently rested his cheek on Dick's head, as Dick's breathing became slower. His baby bird slept in his arms. Bruce watched him in wonder.

Hey guys! I just made this short story for the amusement of it. I was thinking about the main photo for this book and took it as inspiration. I thought it would be so cute!
