Dark unchained you and dragged you back up the stairs. You were very confused. You didn't understand what he was doing, but you would soon find out. He pulled you through the house and into a room. It was Mark's recording room. "What does he have planned?" You thought as you swallowed nervously. His voice almost made you jump.
"Princess, if I told you, it would ruin the surprise," he said. You looked around the room and thought about an escape. You imagined running out of the room and finding the front door and running through it. You imagined your legs propelling you forward as the breeze made your hair fly around your face. You imagined finding help and getting to the hospital for your wounds. That's when you realized something. You couldn't run. Hell, you could barely walk. Dark had to practically carry you up the stairs and drag you through the house. You could maybe take three steps. In your condition, you wouldn't make it far. Your plan would have to wait until a better time.
"I wish Mark was here," you thought as tears filled your eyes. Dark let out a deep growl and you quickly remembered that he could read your mind.
"At least he was kind and treated everyone fairly," you muttered. You thought that Dark didn't hear you until you felt something burning your wrist. The burning sensation caused you to gasp and tears to fall. He just smiled and let you fall to the ground. Your leg stung when it touched the carpeted floor. You cried out in pain. Dark let out a dark chuckle in response.
He finally set the camera up and with the flick of his wrist and to your amazement, a chair appeared before him. He scooped you up and set you gently into it. He tied your wrists to the chair, which caused you to yelp when the tough rope made contact with the burn on your arm. He put a piece of tape over your mouth and turned his back towards you as he fidgeted around with something. You shuddered as dark thoughts swirled inside your mind. You were interrupted by his voice.
"Hello everybody, my name is Markiplier," he said in a mocking tone as you heard a sound that was similar to metal hitting metal. He mumbled to himself as he fumbled around with whatever was on the table in front of him. You took this chance to look around and take in the recording room until you were interrupted by Dark cursing loudly.
"Please help me. Someone help," you thought as panic swelled inside you.
"No one is here to save you." You heard his deep voice in your head. How the hell did he get inside your head?
Thoughts of Mark filled your head as you looked around the room again for a possible escape route. You remembered his gentle and sweet laugh. His sweet smile filled your mind. You could practically hear him making a video right now. Suddenly, Dark whipped around and faced you with a devilish grin.
"Looks like you get some punishment," he said darkly.
You squirmed in your chair as if you could escape. He gripped your neck and made you look at him. Suddenly, a sharp pain emitted in your neck. Electric currents went through your body and caused you to convulse. Dark stood back and watched you twitch while he laughed.
"Princess, c'mon. It wasn't even on the highest setting!" He said as he turned back around to his table. He growled and electrocuted you again. Your head spun and hurt as everything began to get blurry.
"I'm sorry for thinking about Mark," you spoke to Dark through your mind.
He walked up to you, and you looked away from him. He grabbed your chin and ripped the tape from your mouth. The raw skin around your lips burned and stung.
"Ouch," you complained at the sensation. Dark just shot you an unhappy look and chuckled.
"I thought that I would give you the option to speak. I could just cut out your tongue. Would you like that?" You quickly shook your head 'no'. "Good. Let's continue." He showed you the remote to the collar and shocked you three more times as he sat back and sadistically watched. On the third shock, you blacked out. He growled deeply, almost like he was angry at you for almost passing out. "No! Don't ruin this for me, (Y/N)! Stay awake!" He slapped your face, but it was too late. You passed out as he mumbled to himself about 'not being a gentleman'.
You awoke in a bedroom and cursed yourself for falling asleep. If you were asleep, it meant that he could have his way with you. He could if you were awake too, but at least you had the chance to fight back and maybe even escape. You looked around and realized you were in a cold, dark room. It felt as if it should be a prison cell. It should be filled with haunting voices from past inmates who had murdered and stolen. Instead, it was filled with you and the void of darkness. You were about to stand up when you realized your arms were tied up. Your legs were free though, so you used the wall to help you stand up. You shuffled around the dark room, searching for anything you could use to help you escape. Nothing, Just darkness. Darkness that threatened to consume you, like it almost had after your mother's death.
--------------------------------
You laid awake in your room, staring at the ceiling. You hadn't eaten since the incident happened last Thursday. It was now Monday. You ignored your stomach's plea for food and continued to stare at the ceiling. This is what you did every night since the death of her. You couldn't close your eyes and sleep the demons away like your mother used to tell you to do when you were young. You remembered your young self and how free and careless you were. The only thing you had to worry about was the monster in the closet and the one under your bed. Your mother had told you to just sleep and the demons would leave you alone. She was right then, but now she wasn't. This wasn't something you could just simply sleep away. Even if you tried to sleep, your dreams were clouded with visions of that night which turned them into nightmares. So, you decided not to sleep. The darkness in your room reminded you of the darkness that threatened to consume your life. Depression was always at your back door, snarling and scratching. But you fought it. You were going to be strong. You had to be strong. You wouldn't let the darkness win.
----------------------------
You snapped out of a memory and continued on with your mission. Escape. Easier said than done. Especially when a demon has you captive. He can read your thoughts and even speak in your mind. You knew that if you didn't escape soon, he would drive you insane. Or worse, he would get control of your mind. You shut your eyes at the thought and shook your head. No. He wouldn't. You would be strong, just like you had back then. You had to be.
