Yuta chuckles as Elena wraps her arms around his neck. She makes silly faces, he knows the girl is wasted but can't help but to feel warm inside.

He's always had a warm spot for her, not as a crush but more than a friend. He's been figuring it out day by day.

Junhoe stumbles over to his two friends and yawns.

Yuta: Tired?
Junhoe: Yes, let's go. Sleepover at my place or yours?
Yuta: Yours. Hongjoong is having a sleepover with Seonghwa and Yeosang.

Junhoe nods as the trio heads to the car. Yuta eyes his friend carefully.

Yuta: Are you okay to drive?

Junhoe rolls his eyes.

Junhoe: Come on man, you know me!

That's true. They've been bestfriends for years. When they turned sixteen they decided to get matching tattoos.

Junhoe got the moon because Yuta told him he makes him feel safe. Much like at night no ones around to bother you and you're in your own peace of mind, just you and the world.

Yuta got the sun because Junhoe said even on his darkest days all Yuta would have to do is show up and he'd feel the brightness of his light disintegrate his darkness. 

On the way home Yuta noticed the car going a bit too fast. Junhoe made a sharp turn that made Yuta shake in his seat a bit.

Yuta: Are you sure you're okay?
Junhoe: Just peachy!

They quickly found out that was a lie when Junhoe's mind finally caved under the pressure of his drunken spirit. He did ninety on the expressway smacking into a guardrail sending the car on a flying mission.

He tried to take control of the wheel but it was much too late. The three teenagers were involved in what should've been a deadly crash, however the universe had other plans.

Yuta woke up to the sound of beeping and his aunt crying.

Junhoe woke up to yelling and the police questioning his parents.

Elena woke up not knowing who herself or anyone else was.

Junhoe's parents were not too pleased with their seventeen year old son having a DWI. Elena's parents were the most furious.

Elena's mother, Lian walked up to the two boys with pure hatred in her heart.

Lian: You two did this! I want you to stay far away from my daughter.

They couldn't argue with her anger, it broke their hearts to hear it.

Yuta begged and pleaded with her parents to be able to see his friend but they wouldn't crack. She not only was cursed with amnesia but a broken collarbone and leg too, she got the worse of it.

While Lian was furious, Elena's father Zhao had a heart. He felt for Yuta.

Zhao: I know hurting her is the last thing either of you would want to do. Junhoe wrote tons of apology letters.

Hearing Junhoe's name pissed Yuta off.

"I trusted him. He told me he was okay to drive, he knew he wasn't. He endangered us all, he almost killed us!" He thought over and over.

Zhao: And I know you love her, so leave her alone. Let her be happy, and live a life without knowing the pain of this tragedy. I'll make sure she has happy memories.
Yuta: Ones that don't include us?
Zhao: I'll let her know of her two friends that cared for her deeply.

And that was the last time Yuta spoke to Elena or Junhoe.
