Elena smiles as her two bestfriends pull up at her house. Junhoe beeps his horns obnoxiously but in true Junhoe fashion. Yuta grins before waving out the window like a mad man.

Elena's mother sighs before shaking her head telling her daughter to be careful and don't stay out late. Although her mother knew at the tender age of sixteen all she wanted to do was hang and party with her close friends.

Elena hops in the backseat and Junhoe immediately takes off down the street.

Elena: What's the plan for tonight?
Junhoe: My friend Chanwoo is having a small bonfire at the beach, and then Yuta's friend Jiwon is having a party too!

Elena squeals knowing there's a fun night ahead of them.

Once they get to the beach they grab a few drinks before mingling with familiar people from their school. Yuta, who gets bored of people quickly, searches to find Elena.

Elena who is one in the same sits away from the crowd staring at the pretty sunset and waves.

Yuta: Isn't this a beautiful coming of age movie.
Elena: Hush, sit with me.

He does as he's told and she smiles at her brown haired friend.

Elena: You know when I first moved here I was terrified it wouldn't be like my life back in China, and it's not, it's actual better.
Yuta: How so?

She hums to herself.

Elena: China didn't have a Junhoe or a Yuta.
Yuta: You're so corny!
Elena: You love it Nakamoto!

Elena's point of view

Valerie and I glare at the girl in front of us.

Valerie: Why would you do that? He's married!
Winter: I know but..-
Me: There's no buts! Messing with a married man is low.
Valerie: Especially when he didn't want you!
Winter: I get it!

Winter is one of those girls who goes looking for love in all the wrong places.

Me: Did she hit you?
Winter: No.
Valerie: Really? I would've.

Same.

Winter: But I kind of wish she would've.
Valerie: Why so you can feel less guilty? That's probably why she didn't.

Remember how I said Val was like the mom? That stays true even when she's scolding you.

Valerie: Regardless you need to apologize to the entirety of monsta-x and Santana again.

I agree.

Winter sighs before nodding.
