Brooks Pov:

As I woke up in the morning, I sat up and looked outside to see a clear sky. Some clouds started to appear and the sunrise just started to rise. The beautiful combination of orange and violet still amazed me to this day. After a few minutes of staring outside, I decided to finally get up and get ready to start my day.

But one thing never left my mind. No matter what I thought about, Harper appeared in every dream and every thought I had. I knew I started to fall for the blonde waiter but I couldn't for some reason. I couldn't ask Lee to be this open, he wanted me to meet someone new but he couldn't be ready to let me go this far just yet. But the biggest thing was that I wasn't ready to start something new. I needed time to adjust to new people that didn't involve him even though deep down I knew I wanted him so badly.

I hopped in the shower and that was where my fantasies started going wild while Lee was sleeping in the next room. Just the imagination of Harper wrapping his arms around my waist while the water was running down. I let out a small moan thinking about this scenario and I couldn't stop. My kinks and my mind took control of what I saw but I knew I couldn't go as far before I woke up my little baby boy.

After turning off the water, I wrapped myself in a fluffy towel and wished I was in Harper's arms. The warmth of being in between his beautiful and strong arms always gave me the comfort of love. But I knew I couldn't give in to my temptations. I wasn't ready as much as I wanted it to be. While still thinking about Harper, I put on some concealer and mascara as Andy showed me some time ago. I actually really liked putting it on because it gave me the chance to hide some flaws which I hated. Eventually, I put on a pretty formal outfit for my first day at work. I liked it very much and Andy even helped me out picking it because I had a close second but he said it makes my eyes pop out which attracts horny and mature men. His words, not mine. But I just wanted it to attract one person. Harper James Dark.

I left the bathroom and went down the stairs to start cooking. It wasn't really cooking, I just decided to make a few toasties so Lee also had some snacks for school. I carefully put them on plates and poured orange juice into two glasses to drink. Afterward, I made my way back up the stairs to my room and woke up Lee. "Bubs, please get up. It is time for your first school day", I said while softly shaking him so he would awake from the beauty sleep that he didn't really need.

Lee sat up and smiled at me. "You look really pretty papa, I am sure Harper will fall for you even more." I blushed and made my way to our closet. "What do you want to wear today? Something pretty, something cool or just basic but classic?" Lee pointed towards his black ripped jeans and a basic sea blue sweater. "Yeah, we can work with that. Now hush to the bathroom, brush your teeth and your hair and come back then." Lee basically ran to the bathroom while I waited patiently for him to return.

When Lee returned, he put on his clothes and we headed downstairs to eat. I let Lee start with eating breakfast while I did the dishes we used the day before. Once again my thoughts drifted away to a faraway land where Harper would wrap his hands around my waist and watch me while I did housework just to be near me. Soon we both finished breakfast, I put away the leftover toasties and put them in a box in Lee's schoolbag. "Are you ready to go Lee? We don't have much time left." Lee ran downstairs carrying his bag while I took mine and we went outside to the car.

 „Papa, I don't want to go to school. So many new people and what if they say bad things about you and dad? I don't want to get confronted by anyone." Lee looked at me with his big blue eyes that could do anything they want to. It is crazy what those eyes can do. „Bubs, you know you have to go to school. It will be hard because you are a little bit advanced but I am sure you will find some great friends, okay?" We got in the car and started the drive to his school. While I was driving, we listened to great songs and sang along really loudly as always. I wanted Lee to have a similar connection to music as I have. Most times we would just listen to Fovvs Mix because it has the best songs on there without a doubt. 

We approached the parking lot of the school and we got out. Carrying both bags, I was still able to hold Lee's hand to support him. How I wished Harper could be here to see Lee having his first day at school.  A lot of parents were gathered outside with their kids, who looked the same age as Lee. 

I went up to the group when a nice man approached me. „Hello, you must be Gibson and you must be Lee. We were told to give you some information since you won't be joining us for the day." I smiled and shook that person's hand. He seemed very nice compared to all those stuck-up mums. „Please just call me Brook, it is my nickname. And yeah today is my first day of work and I can't miss that." 

Two twins ran to us and started talking to Lee as I was talking to this man. „Well, nice to meet you, Brook, my name is Lou and that man with the twins is my husband Brad. I think we are actually your neighbors. One of the twins saw you leave the house yesterday. If you want, we can take Lee home with us until you are off work." I smiled at Lou and admired how his eyes were so blue like the ocean but not as blue as Harpers. His eyes are just amazing and I think if I had ten minutes before I died, I would like to get lost in them. 

„Actually, do you know that diner down the road? I work there in the evenings at the moment and you could just get him there if that is okay." Lou nodded and told me to call him if I need anything before he got dragged away by Lee and the twins. I knew Lee was in good hands and he would fit in perfectly splendidly. I got back in the car, drove to the company, and parked somewhere around the building. I was lowkey excited to see Harper again today because he has just the most beautiful soul and such a nice personality on a level that I can relate to. Even though he is most likely to be very rich and I am more likely to be averagely broke because my previous manager took away my money. Love you Blair, lots of kisses too. If you didn't figure out, the last sentence was meant to be ironic and utterly hateful.

I stepped into the company and was welcomed with a beautiful smell that could either be coffee or caramel. As I turned around, I saw Harper smiling at me while he walked towards me. „Good morning Brookie, how is Lee doing and how did you sleep?" I giggled and hugged him tightly. „Good morning to you too, Harps. Lee found some friends and is doing really good. We slept pretty good considering we only slept for 6 hours. Do you know where Mr. Dark is? I have to talk to him." I looked at him when a figure appears behind him. „Good morning Harper, good to see you today. We really need the help." Mr. Dark turned to me and held his hand out. „And you must be Brooklyn Gibson David Avraam Creaven Clienthos Wyatt. A very long na" „I wouldn't mind if you just call me Brook or Brooklyn sir. I do appreciate you knowing my full name though." „Good to know, Brooklyn. I see you already met my son, Harper. He will show you around for now and later on we will talk after your first coffee break." I nodded and he walked away leaving us in peace. „Well, you heard my father. I am supposed to show you around. Let's goooo." Harper took my hand and we went around to look at everything. It was now or never. I needed to do this or I'd be fucked. „Harpssss? Can you show me where the toilet is?" The beautiful man said ‚yeah' and we went to go to the toilet. Before he could say anything, I dragged him inside and kissed him passionately without having the fear of rejection. I looked into Harper's blue eyes as he kissed me back and showed me the love I needed at that moment. All that mattered in that exact moment was Harper and I. Harplyn.
