Travon's POV

"Alpha, you need to rest. Maybe your mates touch will cure you faster." The pack doctor says as he injects me with something.

The bite was a terrible thing to exprience, I felt as if the venom was eating me away. My mind drifted to my kids, I wonder if they are alright. Just as I was about to call Levi, he walks in with Ian.

"Levi, how are Ash and Olly? Did they have their dinner? Are they in bed? Did something happ--?

"Travon, the kids are okay. Yes, they've eaten and are in bed by now. I guess,"

"What do you mean I guess?" he scratches his head and looks around the room.

"Actually Ashley was being stubborn, she wanted uhh-- Luna to give them a bath and put them to bed."

I know they are safe but I'm their father, I'll be restless until I see them tucked in bed myself. I slowly get out of the bed but fail miserably and almost fall. The twins quickly grab me placing me on the edge of the bed.

"Alpha you need to rest. The venom took most of your energy, you're gonna feel for sometime."

"I need to get home," once again I get off the bed and head to the car. My Beta's know better than to stop me.

I stand against the wall for awhile, damn that leech!

Right, the leech. I mindlink Ian, "Ian, has he spoken yet?"

"No Alpha."

"Beat the living hell outta him but I need information!"

"Yes Alpha."

Then I mindlink Nick to bring the car outside pack hospital. Few minutes later he arrives, I get in as quick as possible.

"Let's go home."

"Travon--"

"Wake up man, we're home."

I struggle to open my eyes, now I feel more exhausted than ever. I think the injection is showing its effect.

Lazily I walk towards the twins' room, Tyler awakens right away. He sniffs the air, I know I'll find Hope behind the door.

Careful not to disturb them I open the door quietly.

"...and then Belle danced with the Prince as Mrs Potts and Chip watched them with the others. And they lived happily ever after."

"Mommy, what does ha-ppily ever after mean?" 

"Erm-- it means that Belle lived with her Prince charming forever and they lived a happy life."

"When will I get my-- my Prince ch-charming?" my daughter asks yawning. Olly gives a low growl, "Ashley, you're not old enough to have have one. And I'm your Prince."

"But I don't wanna live with you forever, you always eats my cookies!" Ashley replies with a pout. I laugh lightly and all eyes fall on me, Olly's eyes light up.

I walk towards their bed, Hope gets off swiftly and stands behind me. I feel my body relax abit in her presence but my pain vanishes as my twins run into my arms and hug me tightly.

"Ohh, I missed my warriors! Come on, give your old man a goodnight kiss."

They kiss my cheeks and I put them under their blankets again. Ashley falls asleep immediately but Olly's eyes fixed on mine.

"You need to sleep Champ," he nods and I slowly start moving away but he grabs my hand.

"He is here to steal, Dad. He- he will take Ashley and I away from you."

I stiffen at the thought of someone taking my children away from me. I give him a reassuring smile, "That's not going to happen, Olly. They'll have to kill me to get to you two."

He nods and finally shuts his eyes and few minutes later snores lightly. I stand there just staring at them, oh how I miss Mia.

I wish she was here to see our children grow, see them sleep, and just be right beside me. Guiding me through all odds. She gave her life to save our babies and I will make sure that nothing ever happens to them as long as I am alive.

If anything happens to them how will I face Mia? No! I won't let anyone hurt them, even if it means killing everyone. Or even dying.
