A month passed to neil working for the AM industry. He got habitual of the environment easily and life was going pretty well but someone's presence did affect him a lot. Her pretty eyes and radiant smile would always lighten up his dull mood but he did not want to admit that. They had get along pretty well though they knew each other since before but Neil's ignorance towards her in the past did not help them with it and he felt that she did not change a bit ever since then. Her habits are still the same that was to stare at him shamelessly no matter what circumstances may occur. And not to mention her stubborn nature that still pissed off him sometimes. But above all he started to enjoy her presence near him, whenever she would barged inside his cabin blabbering non stop and handover him her special coffee, all his stress would vanish into thin air. He had never felt like this before, he knew his guards had been breaking by each time but he didn't find it regrettable anymore, his heart had happily accepted this revulsion version of his.

Presently he had been engrossed in his work, giving his whole attention to the piles of files that were lying on his desk.
And the storm made an entrance into his cabin out of no where startling him. After all Avni Mehta was not less than a storm. A beautiful storm, his conscience spoke dreamily. Neil chided the fact and glanced at avni, who was grinning widely looking at him.

Neil Sighed and raised his brows asking the reason behind her beaming face. The curve of her lips got more enchanting and she strode towards him but between her leg stumbled with table and of course no PhD is required to guess, she landed on his lap shocking neil.

He gulped down the lump feeling her body so close to his. Avni moved closer and encircled her arm around his neck.

Avni: I have a plan for today! Let's go for the movie at evening

She said excitedly raising her brows. Neil looked into her eyes been hypnotized by the closeness. Avni too got conscious of their position and stared back into his eyes smiling softly.

She raised up her hand and trailed her finger on his cheek then to the jaw and trailed down on his chest. Neil took a deep breath closing his eyes losing himself.

Other side shweta was preparing lunch for neil. In morning he was so stressed related to some project and didn't have breakfast in hurry. She pecked the lunch box for him and asked juhi if she could go to his workplace and give the lunch box to him. She had no way other than saying yes and she left from there to his workplace.

Back to avneil. They were still in that position closed to each other, making neil restless due to their proximity.

Neil: avni uh the door is open please get up

He said with difficulty. Avni shook her head smiling and was liking the way he got affected by her.

Avni: I really like you neil.

She said closing her eyes and leaning to him. Neil got shocked and looked at her. He didn't know she would say something like this.

Neil: but I am married.

He said quickly making avni flinched by his words. She opened her eyes been shocked. Neil lowered his eyes unknowingly not able to look at her hurt filled orbs. Avni blinked her eyes feeling suffocated by what he just said but she had felt that warmth, that feeling for her in him.

Avni: accha? But if you would have loved your wife, you would have not let me come this closed to you. Do you see this?

She said pointing to the distance they had in between them. Neil had no answer of her any questions. He just kept quiet but someone's presence made them look away. It was juhi. She looked awkward and wasn't looking at them. Avni stood up glancing in between neil and juhi. Neil was not making eye contact with any of them. Avni got that who this girl could be and Sighed moving from there and disappear from their sight. Neil looked at her retreating figure then looked at juhi.

He raked his fingers in his hair frustratingly. The events that had turned out seemed terrible to him. He was just fearing that what if juhi told all this to his mother. He didn't want to face more problems in his life.

Neil: juhi actually

Juhi: I just came here to give you lunch box

Saying this she placed the bag on his table and started moving from there but she halted near the door and spoke without turning.

Juhi: don't worry I won't say anything to shweta aunty.

And she left from there making neil relieved but still he was mad at avni for her foolishness. Juhi was passing by the canteen but in between bumped into someone and that someone turned out to be vidhyut. Juhi widened her eyes seeing him after so many days. Where as vidhyut was going through the same. They both were emotional boring their eyes and thinking about their moments.

Someone cleared her throat and vidhyut blinked comprehending everything. Vidhyut left from there muttering excuses to avni and juhi looked at his retreating figure with moist eyes.

Avni came near her and placed her hand on juhi's shoulder. Juhi looked away composing herself then faced her.

Avni: hi I am avni mehta

Juhi: hi I am juhi

Avni: nice to meet you

Juhi: likewise

Avni: can we talk if you don't mind?

Juhi was confused at first thinking what would she want to talk but eventually agreed. They both went to the canteen and avni ordered the food for them.

Avni: so you are Neil's wife?

Juhi looked down and nodded.

Avni: but I see there is something wrong with you two

Juhi looked at her. She was feeling so lonely since her marriage took place. There was no one to whom she could share her feelings. At that moment she wanted to pour out everything that she had suppressed in her heart to avni and she did. She told her the reality of their marriage. About her life and everything.

Avni Sighed after knowing her and gave her a warm and tight hug conveying her support to juhi. Juhi was glad that she met avni and was finally feeling good after so long.

Avni: don't worry everything will be fine

Juhi: hope so. Today finally I felt so good after long. Thank you for your company.

Avni: ah there is nothing to thank me and beside we should hang out from now often. isn't it?

Juhi: definitely. Okay I have to go now, will meet you super soon. Bye

Avni: bye, see ya.

They hugged and juhi went from there. Avni smiled and went to her cabin. After that neil and avni didn't come face to face. Neil was getting restless because of the morning incident that took place. It should not have happened, he thought. He clutched his hair sighing loudly and thought to call it a day. He took his bag and moved to the lift. There avni was already present, waiting for the lift to arrive.

She looked at him and smiled but he ignored and tapped his foot impatiently. He looked pissed avni concluded so she didn't say anything. After sometime the lift arrived and both of them got into it.

They both stood in silence but suddenly lift got halted and due to the sudden jerk avni collided with Neil, her both hands had been placed on his chest. Neil was already annoyed and his anger overpowered his all the senses. He moved away glaring at confused her.

Neil: what's your problem? Can't you stay away from me? Since school days to till now you have not changed a bit. You are still the same, so problematic. And you are doing it still, thinking of coming close to me everytime. Please I request you, stop invading my life and leave me alone. I am so fed up of you.

Avni was stunned, speechless and angry. Her nose turned red hearing his accusations. Before she could answer him the lift got started again and she stumbled back due to the jerk. Neil got scared for a moment because her head was about to hit the wall so he tried holding her hand but she quickly balanced herself and stood far away in the corner ignoring him. Neil looked at her for a moment then looked away.

After sometime, lift came to a halt and avni immediately got out and strode off to her car without glancing at him once. Neil shook his head and went to his house.

Reaching at home the first thing he did was to confirm whether juhi told something to his mother about that incident or not but watching her behaving normally like always he breathed a sigh of relief. Juhi narrowed her eyes seeing him behaving weird but she shrugged off.

Later in the night neil was staring at the ceiling blankly lying on the couch thinking about the day. The words that he uttered to avni came rushing into his mind that made him regretted of his choice of words. He was just pissed and all his frustration vent out on her. He closed his eyes rubbing his forehead and made a mental note to apologise her the next day. With this thought he tried getting some sleep but only her face kept getting into his mind.
