Next morning

Neil came downstairs after getting ready for the day and found no one in the house. He frowned and roamed his eyes everywhere at the same time vidhyut entered inside the house and saw Neil.

Vidhyut: kya hua kise dhundh raha hai

Neil turned around and smiles looking at him.

Neil: aap sab ko hi dhund raha tha by the way mom dad kaha hai

Vidhyut: vo engagement ke related kuch shopping karne gaye hai mujhe bhi nahi bataya

Neil: okay

Vidhyut: chal breakfast karte hai

Neil nodded and both sat down and started munching on the food. Vidhyut looked at Neil he could easily tell Neil was sad his eyes were puffy and face was dull.

Vidhyut: kal avni se baat hui?

Neil looked at him than at his plate remembering yesterday incident he got sad.

Neil: hmm

Vidhyut: toh kya bola usne

Neil: she hates me bhai

Neil said in his broken tone. Vidhyut Sighed and placed his hand on his shoulder.

Vidhyut: of course she will but tu ese devdaas banke toh betha nahi rahega na. You have to do something. Samjha usse, usse yakin dila ki tu usse kitna pyaar karta hai. Agar ese hi haar maan lega toh I am sorry to say that you are not my brother. Just tell her make her understand that how much she means to you.

Neil looked at him and smiles nodding his head.

Neil: thank you bhai

Vidhyut: ab ye thank you bolna bandh kar and apne kaam par focus kar.

Neil nodded thinking something deeply.

At night

Neil: bhai mujhse nahi hoga please

Vidhyut: kya nahi hoga avni ke liye tu itna nahi kar sakta? Aur tu tension mat le tu agar girne wala hoga toh mai tujhe catch kar lunga

Neil looks at him in disbelief.

Neil: aap koi superman ho ke mujhe catch kar loge. Agar kisi ko pata chal gaya toh hamari band baj jaayegi especially meri. Mai kal baat kar lunga na avni se.

Vidhyut: no no no kal engagement hai bohot busy ho jayenge sab aur tu bhi baat nahi kar payega. Abhi jaa aur aaram se baat kar aur ab tune koi excuse diya na toh tera muh tod dunga mai

Neil was about to say something but hearing his last line he choose to be quite and nodded his head still unsure.

Yes they were standing outside of the mehta mantion. Vidhyut was pushing Neil to go to avni's room through the balcony but Neil was reluctant to do so.

Vidhyut: pagal agar apne pyaar se milne ke liye uski balcony se nahi gaye to kya khaak pyaar kiya

Neil: matlab aap ne bhi ye kiya hai?

Vidhyut: aur nahi toh kya. Tera bhai tere jesa Darpok nahi hai

Neil raised his eyebrows now it's about his reputation and ego he have to do it for his love he thought.

Neil: accha ab dekhna aap

He started climbing the pipe carefully. And at last he reached to her balcony and breathed a sigh of relief. He waved his hand to vidhyut telling him that he is successful in climbing up. Vidhyut chuckled and sign him to go in.

After taking a deep breath neil went inside. Luckily the door was open avni was up till now she was working on the laptop.

At outside.

Vidhyut Sighed and turned around. His eyes popped out seeing his fiance in front of him. He gulped his saliva looking at her angry glare.

Juhi: tum yaha kya kar rahe ho?

Vidhyut gave her a nervous smile and scratched the back of his neck.

Vidhyut: vo vo haa mai tumse milne aaya tha jaan oh God how much I missed you

He stepped closer to cupped her face but she moved away.

Juhi: accha toh phir neil ko maine upar jaate kyu dekha

Vidhyut: oh toh tumne dekh liya. You scared me jaan

Juhi: vidhyut are you mad? Mujhe phone kar dete mai main door khol deti usse yaha se bhej ne ki kya zaroorat thi?

Vidhyut: arey don't worry he reached safety. Aur undono ko chodo tum ham dono par focus karo

He stepped closer taking her in his arms. Juhi blushed and both love birds spent their time.

In avni's room.

Avni frowned hearing the footsteps coming near her. Avni stood up taking the vase from the side table. Neil opened the door and stepped inside. Avni closed her eyes tightly and about to hit him without seeing him but Neil held her hand on time.

Avni frowned and opened her eyes slowly and gets shocked seeing him in her room. Neil was still shocked due to the stunt she had pulled. If he hadn't hold her on time he had been unconscious till now.

Avni opened her mouth and about to shout but Neil kept his palm on her mouth pleading her not to shout.

Neil: please please don't shout just listen to me once please

Avni wriggled in his arms trying to remove his hand but he pulled her closer pleading her through his eyes.

Neil: please avni please

Avni huffed and blinked her eyes indicating him to continue. He smiles softly and removed his hand from her mouth. He made her sit on the bed and kneel down infront of her taking her hand.

Avni's heart was beating fast erupting thousands of butterflies in her stomach. Neil looked down circling his thumb on her palm.

Neil: avni I know you hate me you have every right to do so but I love you I really do even more than before I used to. Itne saalo mai I wasn't in a peace your hurt face was hurting me badly all these years. I couldn't able to sleep properly In guilt. But I can't bare this now. You are the most important person in my life and because of my stupidity I lost you. You must be thinking than why I want you now right?

Avni noded her head lost in his hypnotized eyes. Her lips were quivering.

Neil: because I need you without you I am nothing. Please let me be the healer of your wounds. Let me tell you how much you mean to me. Let me explain myself to you that there is no life without you. Let me be in peace with you. I have suffered a lot if you want to see me more I am ready. I am ready to take your all anger and pain but don't punish me by hating me. I can't bare this please forgive me please.

He placed his head on her lap sobbing his heart out. Avni couldn't control more and wrapped her hands around him hiding him in her arms. Both were crying trying to remove this pain that had snatched their happiness and smiles all these years.

No matter how much you try you can't ignore the person you love more than your life.

Neil lifts his face and looked at her. She was looking down not able to look at his broken state. Neil pulled her chin up and wiped her tears with his palm.

Neil: I am not that Neil anymore who had hurted you and raised questions on your loyalty. I was insecure thinking what if you leave me for some other person. I am sorry I am really sorry I am not asking you to forgive me just give me one chance. I don't want you I need you but I will not push you to take decision. Just tell me will you give me one chance?

Avni looked at him with her tearful eyes. All these years she only wanted to hear this, to be in his arms. She started crying and kneel down in front of him and hugged him tightly making him stumbled back.

Neil was shocked for a moment. He closed his eyes letting his tears to flow freely finally feeling her close to his heart. He tightens his grip burying his face in her hair sobbing vigorously.

Avni pressed her lips together to control her cry.

Neil: don't control yourself avi just let it out what you are feeling right now

Avni: ( hiccuping ) I still hate you how dare you to doubt on me. Wasn't my love sufficient for you.

Neil: no avi I told you na I was blinded by my insecurities that I couldn't see your love. I am sorry please I will not do this again

Avni: tumhe pata hai ek ek pal maine kese nikala hai? Khud ko sab se dur kar diya.

Neil broke the hug and cupped her face.

Neil: I promise to you I will never ever hurt you. I love you avi I can't imagine my life without you.

Avni: but you have to prove yourself I am still angry.

Neil: I am ready. for you I am ready to do anything.

Avni smiles and looked down. She realized she was sitting on his lap. She looked down trying to control her blush.

Neil: can I get a hug?

Avni looked at his innocence filled orbs that was reflected only love. She nodded her head smiling softly.

Neil embraces her to his dear life. Avni tightens his grip around him closing her eyes.

After sometime neil and avni both were standing at the balcony.

Neil was ready to go down but avni stopped him.

Avni: Neil tumhe chot lag jaayegi tum main door se chale jao

Neil smiles and comes closer.

Neil: no akhir isi mai toh maza hai.

He kissed her cheek than nose and went down slowly. Avni stopped breathing for a moment than started blushing recalling that moment.

Vidhyut was waiting for neil in his car. Neil waved his hand once he landed safely on ground. Avni smiles and waved her hand. Finally they sorted out everything but neil has to impress his lady love but now he was more than happy he was just waiting for the next day to come.
