Avni's pov,

This new information is shocking for me really neil is jiju's brother can't believe it but what would I do now how will I face him after all these years and juhi, what she said he still loves me agar esa he hota toh breakup he kyun karta. I am sure he even don't remember me. Oh God mere saath he esa kyun hona tha aur juhi ko bhi wahi family mili thi shadi karne ke liye. Gosh calm down avni just don't give a damn to him just like he did to me. Ignore him and control yourself infront of him that's it. Yes I can do it.

Avni's pov ends.

At Khanna mantion

They reached there and stood at the doorstep. Shweta was standing there with arti ki thali. Her face was lit like a bulb she was grinning ear to ear looking at her son infront of her.

She passed the thali to vidhyut and hugged Neil tightly crying in his arms. Neil consoled her muttering sorry.

Neil: bas mom stop crying verna main wapas chala jaunga

He teased her. Shweta looked at him and hit him on his shoulder.

Shweta: khabar daar wapas jaane ki baat ki toh

They chuckled and after doing his arti shweta pulled him inside. Neil looked at his house and Sighed smiling softly.

He met with bebe and prakash and went to his room. Vidhyut came there with a pair of suit for him. Neil frowned looking at it.

Neil: bhai ye kyun?

Vidhyut: mom ne bola hai actually aaj hame dinner pe jaana hai mehta house

Neil: okay

Vidhyut: tujhe kuch dikhana hai ruk

He took out his phone from his pocket and showed him the photo of avni and juhi

Neil was shocked looking at avni's photo. He looked at vidhyut numb

Vidhyut: avni juhi ki behen hai mujhe bhi kuch din pehle hee pata chala. Chote teri wish puri ho gayi. Ab tu finally usse mil sakta hai

He said holding his shoulders. Neil smiles through tears. Only he knew what he is feeling right now. Vidhyut knows everything about his love and avni being his ex. First he was angry at him for breaking her heart but later he thought to help him after all it's a past now.

Neil nodded and went to washroom taking the suit from him.

At mehta mantion,

Avni came down after sometime and saw juhi and neela talking sitting on a couch. Avni sat beside neela and hugged her tightly.

Avni: I missed you

Neela: accha mujhe toh nahi lagta

Avni: maa

Neela chuckled pinching her cheeks.

Neela: maine bhi bohot miss kiya mera baccha. Itni bhi badi nahi hui ki saari zimmedari khud utha ti ho

Avni: toh aapko toh khush hona chahiye aapki beti ab independent ho gayi hai

Neela: of course mai khush hu par maa hu tension toh hogi na

Juhi: uff maa ab zyada senti mat ho

Avni and neela chuckled. Neela made avni eat till her stomach was in verge of exploding. Later trio went to avni's room. Neela was choosing a dress for avni while avni was throwing tantrums.

Avni: maa juhi ke sasural wale aa rahe hai mere nahi

Juhi: arey avni ek hee baat hai

She winked at her teasingly. Avni glared at her telling her not to say anything.

Neela looked at both of them in amusement. While avni clears her throat looking here and there.

Neela: kya matlab juhi

Juhi: ma matlab ki vo guest hai hamare toh avni ko bhi accha impression banana chahiye na

Neela: bilkul thik keh rahi hai juhi. Pehli baar milogi tum unse avni toh taiyar toh tumhe hona padega

Avni Sighed rubbing her forehead.

Avni: okay fine do what ever you want

Later at evening Khanna family arrived. Neela, juhi and ashish welcome them inside.

Prakash: arey Neil kaha hai vidhyut?

Vidhyut: vo bahar hee hai aata hee hoga important call aa gaya tha

Prakash: thik hai

Ashish: aaiye na bethiye

They sat down. Juhi looked at vidhyut, he winked at her and she blushed looking down.

Ashish: juhi avni kaha hai?

Juhi: vo bahar hee hai aati hogi

He noded and got busy in talking with prakash.

Outside of the house,

Avni was standing with closed eyes trying to calm herself down. The Cool breeze was soothing her giving her peace. She heard the footsteps approaching her she turned around in a swift and bumped into a hard chest.

She stumbled back due to the strong collision and closed her eyes tightly in fear. But someone held her on time grabbing her waist.

Not feeling the pain she opened her eyes slowly and gets shocked looking at neil. Whereas he was smiling through tears. He was seeing her after ages. He pulled her up in standing position and hugged her tightly making her stumbled back. She bit her lips to control her tears. Her hands were aching to wrapped around him. But she stood still closing her eyes.

He caressed her hair still in a hug and mumbled sorry in her ears infinite times. She pulled back from the hug and moved away maintaining the distance.

She looked at him. He was wearing a three suit looking like a business man neatly dressed up. Neil moved closer to cup her face but she went from there leaving him heartbroken.

Neil's pov,

My avi she was in my arms few minutes ago. I looked at my hands it's still shivering. I bit my lips feeling livelier after seeing her.

But my love is angry on me why wouldn't see I deserve this in fact every kind of punishment. My thoughts came to an halt hearing my phone ring. It was from vidhyut.

I went inside quickly answering the call. My family and avni's family were sitting in a living room. I met with them and sat beside vidhyut roaming my eyes everywhere trying to find my love.
Bhabhi looked at me and chuckled understanding my situation.

She was no where to be seen. I have to talk with her and make her understand her place in my life. After what I did it was very difficult but I will never give up on her not now when I again got her in my life.

Aunty said the dinner is ready so we occupied our seats. She was still not here. I Sighed I am sure because of me she is not coming it's hurting me more than she can imagine. My love is running away from me making me feel worse.

I heard uncle asking about her.

Neil's pov ends.

Ashish: juhi where is avni?

Juhi: mai dekh kar aati hu

She stood up and about to go but she saw avni coming there. She smiles and make her sit beside her and infront of neil.

The elders were busy in talking with each other. Juhi and vidhyut were smiling looking at each other. Neil was stealing the glances of his lady love but she was looking down all the time ignoring him.

Prakash: avni beta what you do?

Avni looked up from her plate and smiles at him. She could feel the continuous gaze of someone on her.

Avni: I am in last year of mbbs.

Prakash: waah that's good. bhai ashish jesa ke maine bataya tha our hospital opening is near toh juhi ke saath saath waha avni bhi hogi toh hame accha lagega.

Shweta: haa ashish ji ish Tarah juhi ko bhi company mil jayegi aur hame ek acchi doctor

Ashish: mujhe koi problem nahi hai jesa avni ko thik lage

He looked at avni. She smiles nodding her head. Juhi squealed in happiness and hugged her. All this while she was just sitting numb. Neil smiles softly but it was unaware of her.

After they had dinner they were discussing about the function of engagement.

Juhi: mom dad ham bahar garden area mai jaa rahe hai

Shweta: haa bhai jao hamari baatein sun ke tum log pak jaoge.

They laughed and went outside. Avni was in no mood to go but juhi dragged her with her behind them neil and vidhyut were walking looking at their respective girls.
