I'm greeted in the morning by an annoyed, tired sounding Finnick, "ugh how are you up so early, it's 7:30 and you don't even look tired!"
"Yeah well I woke up at 5:30 like always did some intense yoga, worked out, showerd and then got ready by 7:00. And now I'm eating breakfast."
"What are we doing today anyways?" I ask.
"Well we arrive in the Capitol mid morning, then you will be taken to your stylists and they will get you ready for the chariot rides tonight."
"Oh. Okay, well I'm gonna go wake up Pax, we should watch old tapes until we get there, and take notes while we're at it."
"M'kay" he says "wait!" He stops me, I turn back to look at him.
"Yes?"
"Well I was wondering if I could call you Kat?"
"Sure, now eat and try not to fall asleep in your breakfast" I tease, walking away.

-time skip to after breakfast, props to the blue hair brush for time travel-

We decided to watch one of the tapes that was in a dessert...
"Well that was.. interesting" Jack says.
"Too say the least!" I shoot back
The arena had no water and after about a week almost everyone was dead from dehydration and mirages. We basically learned to look for cacti if necessary, but be wary of poisoning.
We were about to put another one in but then Glitter came in all excited and said "OMG,OMG,OMG WERE HERE!!"
"Wow, we're at the place that wants me dead, oh joy." I deadpanned.
Finnick sighed quietly before saying "Be careful, there are cameras everywhere, and you sound like you have a death wish by the way your talking about the capital."
"Okay, okay. So do you have any advice for when we walk off this train into a mob of crazy people?"
"Yes, stay calm, avoid hands and Kat please look straight forward no emotions, got it?"
"Yup."
"Good, Jackson, blow kisses, smile, wave, do everything in you power to make them like you."
"Okay."
"Good, and one last thing, gets used to this, this place is a constant nightmare."
"Oh don't worry" I say "Every morning I wake up from a nightmare, only to find there's no relief in waking up." I say. Before standing up with them. Before we started watching old tapes I'd changed into a black dress with a gold ribbon around my waist and gold strappy sandals with about a 2 inch heal. I also did my hair in a fancy twist, a braided bun type thing.

When we walk out into the sunlight I make sure to keep a straight face, and let no emotions through, avoiding hands and such whilst sticking close to Finnick. At the same time Jack is waving and being the perfect little model for the crowed awing them all, I just hope it's enough to keep himself alive...

I know I'm like the worst updater ever but I promise I will be doing better now! Did you like how Kat said a Finnick quote? Also does anyone have any ideas? Been having a hard case of writers block... love y'all!
