After the reaping we were both lead to separate rooms to say goodbye to our loved ones.
Almost immediately my mom and dad came rushing in, my mom, crying all over the place and I spent a minute hugging her and telling her that it would be fine and that I would come home and if I didn't that she would need to stay strong for the boys. My dad on the other hand just gave me a tight hug and told me to use the skills I had and that if I did I could win. They were then taken out by the peacekeepers and my brothers came in, before they could say anything I said "Listen to me Alden, if I don't come back you need to start fishing and please promise to try not to fight will Leo." Then I turned to Leo and said "Leo make sure you help mommy out and keep her here with you, and try to get along with everyone." They both had time to give me quick hugs before they were taken out too. Beatrice came running in after and we fell to the ground laughing and crying while holding each other tightly, I kissed the top of her head and then she was dragged out while screaming my name by the stupid peacekeepers. Glitter came in and lead me to the train where she said that Jack had already been taken. I sat down alone in an empty capartment taking in the soft couches and silky draperies, then Jack walked in I stood up and we embraced, not lovingly of anything just a brotherly type hug. When we sat down he asked me if I wanted to be in an alliance with him. I automatically said yes seeing as we have been friends for about four years now.
Then a 18 year old guy walked in and said "So you must be the D4 tributes for this year, correct?" I said yes sir and Jackson nodded along with me. He waved away the "sir" stating that we should call him Finnick. 
As the Avox's brought in trays of food he asked, "So what are your names again?" "Kaytlin Huxley"
"Jackson Grey"
"Well what weapons can you wield?" he asks. To which I respond with "Well I can throw a trident pretty well but that's a given, I shoot a bow and arrows the best but I can also use throwing knives." Pax says, "Well I'm not very good with anything but a spear but I can also identify plants and climb trees okay..." Finnick thought for a moment then said "Okay then, well you both did an conventional job of keeping a straight face at the reaping so you can both choose whatever type of act you want to have."
"Personally I think I'm going to go with a more sarcastic yet evasive and mysterious outlook so no one knows any of my strengths and/or weaknesses." I said
"Umm I don't know, can I just be me?" Jack asked
"Ya," I said "that just might work for him, he is normally very sweet and kind, but intelligent so it could work for him."
"Well we can talk more later right now the reapings are about to be showed in a different compartment and I want you to both be there." Says Finnick...
