56 : Bitter Memories No.2
Song: Bad - Billie Eilish
Trudy's disturbing dreams were officially back at haunting her sleep.
Trudy refused to believe it back when Evangeline asked her why she was crying in her sleep, but as she woke up - due to the sound of a certain blond taking a shower and making himself way too comfortable - and found herself in damp pillows and sweaty hair, Trudy had no way around it. So on her bed she laid, the sun blinding her, as she allowed her past to overwhelm her.
"Do you think this will work?"
"Of course it will, baby," he assured, soft eyes softening at her uncertainty, "We're soulmates, remember?"
"Yeah, it's just that..." Trudy huffed, struggling to find her words. "People expect me to be with someone, um, like me."
"I know we have an age gape, I'm even double your age." He leaned forward and took her hands in his, massaging the worries away. "But I dont mind. Do you?"
"N-no, I don't."
"You better not, because I didn't mind you being fat." His finger caresses hardened along with his glare.
Trudy flinched - her bitter memories were awakened in her mind, playing painfully before her eyes as she stared at nothingness.
He tutted, pinning both her hands together. "You don't get to tease me just to pull me off." His filthy hand went under her skirt yet again, pushing her panties aside and pressing his ice fingers on Trudy's most intimate parts.
Trudy gasped at the assault, but it seemed like it was for his advantage as he pushed his disgusting tongue down her throat. Trudy had absolutely no idea what was going on, she was totally clueless when it came to the sexual field, but she knew she wasn't ready for this nor did she want it. That did nothing to tell off the smirking thirty yearold - if anything, he seemed like he was enjoying himself.
Trudy only realized that not only was he forcing himself on her, he was also the very first one to kiss and touch her.
She twisted in her place, cringing at the memories. She was met with the sight of a naked Zarek standing at the doorway of her bathroom, with nothing but her towel wrapped relatively low, showing a hint of a V line.
Trudy was too shocked to tame down her bed hair. She gulped and stared at the white towel that was once pressed against her naked body being so close to Zarek's 'thing'. Truth be told, Trudy never saw it before in her life, and she definitely wasn't ready to break her innocence if the towel slipped - god forbid.
Trudy realized she was staring - ugh, the humiliation! She immediately blushed and looked up at Zarek's eyes to find him enjoying the situation.
"I already told you, babe," He smirked, crossing his lean arms over his bare chest. "l don't mind you looking at me."
"I wasn't." Trudy wanted to hiss but it came out breathless. "That is my towel, something very intimate to me. You should've asked before you took it."
Zarek's hand was on the small knot around his waist, the only thing keeping the towel covering him. "I can give it to you right now-"
"No!" Trudy rushed, embarrassed but mostly scared. In a second she was off her bed and on her feet, giving Zarek her back and staring at the floor. She didn't know why she was freaking out with Zarek's teasing, it wasn't like Zarek was attacking her, but she was. It could have something to do with her troublesome past, or maybe because she wasn't used to such interactions with Zarek. They were usually down each other's throats with their continuous banter and insults. Now, they were down each other's throat for a different reason.
While Trudy was always attracted to this blond devil, she wasn't quite ready for their relationship to change, especially by this rate.
"Alright, chill out, I was just joking with you." Zarek exasperated, "By the way, I wanted to ask you why yo-..." He scratched his blond hair that got longer it fell over his eyes in their wet strands. "You know what? Nevermind, it's not like you'll tell me anyways."
Trudy didn't bother encrypting what he meant. She huffed to herself - she must've looked like a total idiot with her actions and horrendous bed hair. She took a deep calming breath, running her fingers through the tangles of her frizzy locks. "Put on some clothes, Zarek."
"Exactly. That's why I'm here." Zarek sounded... nervous? "I need new clothes."
Trudy turned around then, careful not to drop her gaze down there which was challenging considering the hight difference. "Why? What happened to the old ones?"
He shrugged, electric green eyes flickering. "Dunno," he lied.
"Ugh, fine, whatever, but you'll have to wait." Trudy pushed him aside, ignoring how warm and smooth his skin was, and entered the bathroom.
The first thing she noticed was the folded sheets and pillow on the lid of her diamond embellished toilet seat, then it was his wet boxer that he probably washed hanging on the racks to dry, and lastly it was the smell of her shampoo and soap but she ignored all of those and let them slide. She was about to brush her hair and teeth in peace when she noticed how wet the brushes were. Her eyes widened - did he use my toothbrush and hairbrush?
"Zarek," she whined like a little girl, stomping on her feet, "You used all of my things! Now I have to toss them all away."
"I needed them," he shrugged, plopping himself on her king-sized bed. The gesture applied pressure on the towel around his waist, threatening to open the tight knot. "You don't have to throw them away, I didn't do any funny business with them. I only used them and I even washed them afterwards."
Trudy groaned loudly, containing herself not to let out one of her famous ear-deafening screams. "You used my shampoo and soap? Okay, you needed them for a shower. You took my towel? Fine, I wouldn't want you walking around naked. But using my personal hairbrush and toothbrush?" she frustrated, "I can't believe you, you're disgusting."
"How are you going to live with someone if you're going to act like this?" He lifted a blond eyebrow, electric green eyes curious. "Seriously, you'll drive the poor dude crazy."
That won't be a problem because I'll forever be alone, she replied in her head. She shook those thoughts away, glaring at the naked blond on her bed. "I can't believe I decided to help such a hygiene-lacking person. You're so annoying."
"No, you are."
She dismissed with her hand. "Please, I'm not the one using all of your intimate stuff and strolling around naked."
"I wouldn't mind," He smirked, leaning back to take her in fully which resulted in a better view of his torso.
Her gaze dropped for a second down there before it snapped back up, catching on to his meaning. Heat coursed through her veins and splashed her dark cheeks. She cleared her clenched throat, averting her eyes. "I'll just go and, eh, get you your clothes."
She quickly went to the laundry room to retrieve Zarek's washed clothes before the maid placed them in her father's closet, resulting in deep trouble if Louis found them. Holding the Mastermind World hoodie and Amiri jeans in her hands, Trudy made her way back to her room, eyes looking everywhere not to get caught. When she passed by her sister's bedroom, Sandra sensed her like a hawk and opened her door.
Honestly, Trudy should've expected it by this point.
Sandra was holding her phone, smirking in total satisfaction. "Little sis," she beamed, "I told you he doesn't care about you." She showed Trudy her phone's screen and all the breath escaped Trudy's lungs at the picture.
Sprawled on Sandra's bed was Zarek with nothing on his naked body but his black boxers, looking up at the camera with hazed eyes and desire in his visible bulge.
Sandra didn't say anything, she didn't need to since the horrible picture managed to break Trudy and shatter her to pieces. Trudy clutched harder at the rack of clothes to keep her in her sanity, she soon realized they were his and all she wanted to do was fuel them with her hate and burn them with her insecurities.
She swiped an annoying tear away, looking up at Sandra like a helpless naive little sister. "You already filled me with so much doubts and insecurities. Isn't that enough? Why do you have to ruin everything for me?" Her voice cracked and Trudy hated her weak self even more.
It was a wild fantasy, but Trudy hoped she had her fair shot in a relationship. She didn't know if Zarek was the right one for her, but she wanted him nevertheless. He was interested in Eva, so maybe that was why she wanted to destroy her. He was a rude and evil, which was perfect for her since that was exactly how she was. He was always rude to her, and she didn't mind because that was how she liked it. She didn't want a sappy romantic, she wanted an individualistic asshole, a heartless monster, and a selfish dick - Zarek happened to be all of the above. She knew it was foolish to think that Zarek might want anything to do with her, but over the last while, her and Zarek were getting more along - opening up, sharing a room, using each other's toiletries.
It was both scary and intriguing, but it was all ruined because Sandra just had to intervene.
"I don't want you played," Sandra smirked and flipped her blond hair ends before she added; "Again."
Trudy forced her narrowed chin high, willing herself to step into her poisonous snake skin. "You shouldn't worry about me, I'm not the one pregnant."
Sandra almost dropped her precious phone. She glared at Trudy, shock seeping into her turquoise eyes. "What did you just say to me?"
"You heard me." Trudy shrugged, maintaining her cool nerve despite her freaked out stated inside - This is really happening, I'm finally standing up to Sandra. "I tried to forget what you did to me in the past and open a new page with you, Sandra, but it seems to me that you aren't willing to do the same and I'm so tired of being stepped on, so this is me being done, big sis."
Sandra - for once - was out of words. She stared at Trudy, mouth ajar and hands gripping at her phone so hard that it would've bended if it wasn't made of titanium. Shaking her head and snapping out of it, Sandra had nothing to do other than huff in annoyance and slam the door of her bedroom shut. Trudy stood in the hall for at least a minute afterwards, staring at the closed door - Did I just win an argument with Sandra?
Unfortunately, Trudy's happiness didn't last long. When she went back into her room to Zarek sitting patiently on her bed, she remembered that Sandra was right - He doesn't care - so she tossed his washed clothes at him and went to her closet to change her own clothes; those pyjamas and bed hair weren't giving her enough confidence to handle things, she needed her Louis Vuitton boots, designer items, and a thick layer of makeup.
Zarek wasn't oblivious to Trudy's anger but decided to ignore it, picking up the thrown clothes from the ground and going to the bathroom to change. Trudy heard her blowdrier go off, Zarek was probably drying his wet boxers. Trudy didn't want to think about him wearing his pants without any underwear, it would've been too distracting and she needed to maintain her cool, so she let that slide as well.
Trudy strutted outside of her closet and sat on the bed with one determination - no more broken girl who might be in love because the bad bitch was taking control.
Zarek came out, somehow sexier with his clothes on since Trudy had an idea of what was underneath. He plopped himself on her chair, hand running through his damp hair. "What's for breakfast?"
Trudy tutted in annoyance, giving him the salty eye. "Wait here," she ordered, standing up and heading for her door. She carefully opened it wide enough to peak her head out in the corridor and called the maid. Moments later, the pretty brunette rushed in her black and white uniform, eyes glued to the ground in fear due to the last time Trudy called her where the maid ended up crying.
Trudy didn't care, glaring at the poor soul. "Go bring me breakfast."
The maid's eyes widened, looking up. Trudy hoped she couldn't sneak a peek inside her room and catch a glimpse of Zarek. "Really?" she said in her squeaky voice.
Trudy had a resting-bitch face. "Yes, why is it so hard to believe?"
The maid fiddled with her white apron. "You never requested a meal before, other than... you know... so I don't know what to get you."
"Ugh, right, whatever," Trudy retorted, "I don't know - just an omelette and some orange juice?"
The pretty maid nodded. "Okay, Ms. Green, I'll be right-"
Trudy slammed the door shut, rolling her eyes while muttering "stupid bitch" under her breath and sat back on her bed.
Zarek eyed her for a second before he broke into a grin. "I know that girl, I think her name is Amber and she's a hairdresser in On Fleek."
"Who? The maid?" When Zarek nodded, Trudy straightened up and glared at him, jealousy and disgust clenching her guts. "Did you sleep with her too?"
"What?" Zarek was both offended and repulsed at Trudy's hostility. "Of course not, that girl is not my type."
"How come she's not? She's so pretty," a bit of unwanted envy seeped out in her tone and Trudy didn't bother covering it up.
Zarek chuckled at that. "There's different tastes, I guess, or maybe I'm just having my eyes on someone else."
Trudy's heart skipped a beat. She wanted to ask him who but she was a bad bitch and bad bitches didn't care. Besides, he already confessed that he loved Evangeline last night, and he might've shagged her sister, so the girl he had his eyes on definitely wasn't Trudy. She needed to accept that and move on with her life because manwhore Zarek so didn't deserve her even if he miraculously wanted her.
They were in silence until the door knocked. Trudy received the silver tray from the maid that had a name now - Amber - without saying a thank-you and locked the door. Trudy placed the tray on her wooden desk, not failing to notice that the tray was brand new since she bent the old one and Amber probably took the blame for it. Zarek turned in his chair and dug in the delicious food while Trudy returned to her bed.
"Aren't you gonna join me?" Zarek glanced at her, mouth filled with the scrambled eggs.
"No," Trudy averted her chocolate brown eyes, ignoring how intimate the situation with Zarek was at the moment. "I don't have breakfast, or any other meal really."
Zarek shook his head. "I don't understand why girls starve themselves to be attractive when every boys' dream is acurvy body."
Trudy's mind managed to twist his words into something negative. She gasped, staring murderously at his hunched back as he ate on her desk. "Are you saying that my body is not curvy enough?"
He shrugged, taking a sip of the orange juice. "That's exactly what I'm saying."
Trudy felt her infectious heart sink in the endless ocean of insecurities.
He turned around with a straight face to catch her reaction. "Okay, that was one hundred percent a joke. Stop taking everything I say so seriously, you know I don't mean it all the time."
Trudy knew that Zarek was a messed up individual just like her, going around and spitting hurtful words to people when in reality those words were aimed at the mirror, yet the painful impact of them was nothing less than horrible. She shouldn't care - she didn't, she was a bad bitch - but the little girl in her that somehow survived everything in the past was very much effected.
"Besides," Zarek grinned when she didn't say anything. "I think I've already told you what I think about your curves yesterday in the car."
Trudy was embarrassed, so she flipped her wavy hair. "Ugh, whatever. You're such a pervert."
Zarek went back to his plate, nourishing his sick body. "I feel weird," he announced, "My house is literally down the street and I can't go there. Damn, I need a cigarette in my system real fast."
Trudy didn't know what to say to that - did Zarek just told me some of his thoughts and feelings? This was getting out of hand, evolving into something more than just hatred and favors and Trudy didn't want that. She needed to keep herself in check because they were getting too comfortable around each other. She already made the wise decision to get over Zarek, and she had to stand her ground.
Trudy flipped her hair, bringing up a subject she knew would ruin the atmosphere. "You never told me why your dad kicked you out and left you a total burden on my shoulders."
Zarek froze, staring at his half-finished plate before he put the fork down, making it clink. "I think I'm full." He stood up, heading for the door. "I'm going out, don't want to be a burden."
Trudy watched him with glinting eyes as he left, not caring that he might get caught because the whole mood was ruined - Perfect, she wouldn't have it any other way.
