Replaced
This is based off of some fan-made edits of RK900 and 800. Unfortunately, I can't find those pictures anymore because I deleted them from my camera roll; I didn't think I would ever publish this.
This is unfinished, but here you go.
"I do not want to tell you a fifth time," I repeated once more. "but I need the key to the basement evidence room." I ordered boldly. The lieutenant's face turned to a scowl at my words.
"What do you even need it for? And why the hell would I do that anyways?" Lieutenant Anderson asked roughly. It was clear that this wouldn't get through to him easily. I knew it wouldn't be easy to retrieve the key from him, but I didn't anticipate that it would be this difficult.
"I was sent to analyze the RK800 in the basement level. And, I don't know, why did your partner decide to shoot itself, abandoning you and the deviant uprising?" At my words, he gave off a mixed expression of anger, shock, and grief. So he really was attached to the predecessor in some way.
"Fucking-" Lieutenant Anderson huffed out some air while searching around the room, looking in every place except at me.
//ANALYZING VOICE...//
"Fine." His hand reached into his back pocket, and held out his hand towards me once more. The basement key was revealed.
"Anything to make you get out of my face."
//VOICE SAMPLED//
His demeanor seemed to shift drastically after I mentioned the deactivation of the RK800 Android. Even if he stood a few inches taller than me, he acted as if he wanted to hide away from the problems of the real world. This is why humans should never grow attached to Androids at any cost.
"C'mon, you freak! Take it." I picked it up from his grasp and held it tightly in my right hand. I watched him stomp away to his desk, curious eyes around the office watching. With the plastic key card tightly gripped in my hand, I made my way past the captain's office and into the stairwell towards the evidence room. The door squeaked annoyingly as it opened and closed behind me. It only took a few long strides to make it to the second door to my right. Just as my hand rested on the doorknob, the door I entered from squeaked open. I turned my head to see who was following me. It was Detective Reed, wearing his usual smug grin.
"Hey asshole, where do you think you're going?" My free hand rested on the doorknob. I concealed my frustration and turned to face him.
"I was sent to analyze my predecessor in the evidence room." My hand slipped from the doorknob.
I narrowed my eyes towards him. "If you continue to bother me, I will be forced to speak to Captain Fowler about this issue." Gavin raised his eyebrows, acting shocked.
"Ohh no, like I haven't been faced with that threat before." His demeanor shifted to his normal pissy attitude. "You've been upgraded. Can't you do more than just spew meaningless threats at everyone?"
"Oh yes I can." I lowered my voice and stepped closer.
"I certainly can." In one swift movement, I had my hand wrapped around the Detective's throat. I saw the flash of fear in his eyes. It empowered me.
I didn't break eye contact. "Now, I'd suggest you scramble away and leave me to my business." I let the words sink in, then released my grip.
"Jesus-" Gavin stumbled a few steps backward. "Okay, whatever. Fucking Androids." I watched him begin to hustle out of the hallway. Before throwing open the door, he turned his head back.
"You're lucky I won't be telling Folwer about this!" His voice was higher than normal. I gave a smirk as the door shut behind him.
Okay. Little background here. I imagined this would be after a failed revolution ending. Specifically the one where the leaders of Jericho die, and Connor is forced to lead. Well...he ends up shooting himself, so RK900 is made. 900 is sent to question Connor as to why he did what he did.
Unfortunately I couldn't get to the actual main plot point, where 900 disguises his voice as Hank's in order to speak with Connor. I was planning on making that really sad.
Until next time!
