The alpha candidate.

I know it's not very good because I just read it though and got so bored of my work, but I don't really know how to improve it. :(

Piercing black eyes searched through the darkness as wary  as the ears of a predator. Sharp, ivory Incisors hid away behind wine coloured lips. Long midnight black curls cascaded past her slender shoulders, the tips turning silver as they basked in the swords of titanium moonlight, and her complexion was as pale as the white sheets of lightning, which were highlighting the pouring rain.

Harsh ebony eyes focused on the window, which rested in the corner of the cottage, overlooking the brook in the forest surrounding her. Shadows were lurking, Guarding her house as though she were a necromancer, kneeling under her thatched roof. Snarling, she pulled her face into that of curiosity - a constipated look if she were human - as she walked to the front door.

Tugging on the handle, the mahogany door swung open, revealing the culprit of the dancing penumbrae. Kiara Devony slumped against the door frame, her subjects sinking into the floor, whispering and muttering like school friends. The necromancer almost crawled inside, hauling herself up into the coal coloured sofa.

"Took your time," Kiara slurred in her weak state. "I was out there for ages!"

"Well, you could've just knocked on the door like a normal person. I don't spend my only free time looking out the window you know," Larissa Hue replied defensively.

"Well, you should, it's not like you're normal anyway," Kiara retorted sleepily. "You're a vampire."

"No really? What was it that gave it away? My fear of sunlight? Fangs? Lack of mirrors in the house?" Larissa threw herself into the sofa, next to her friend's feet.

Kiara rolled over to face her, smirking at her response. "Nope," she said, popping the 'p'. "It's your strong dislike of garlic. It's gets annoying when I want to go out for a curry."

"I wonder who's fault that is."

"Er... Don't you point that finger at me, I was trying to get us out of there it's not my fault Ben's a fast runner," Kiara pouted.

Larissa shuddered, "Ugh, Ben, don't remind me."

"Ben's dead."

"So? That didn't stop him having a crush on me."

"No, I mean, he died again."

Larissa hesitated, slowing turning to face the necromancer. Kiera's tan brown eyes were filled with sorrow and regret, as though it was her fault that one of their friends had died.

"What did you do?" Larissa warned.

"It wasn't me! It was Opium!"

"The Alpha candidate?"

"Yeah, somethings going on with the wolf pack. I'll have to show you."

Kiara waved her hands. Shadows crept up the walls like water, reversed, during a leak. They swirled like sand in a storm until they rested, rippling with shades of blue and green.

"Come on Lare, I'll show you."

And that's it. Yeah I know.
