When everyone else is seated and enjoying their lunch, Bryce the manager of Cheyene spoke on the microphone and a video started to show on the projector screen "Good afternoon, the conference is on lunch break and it will resume at 2 o'clock for the booth opening at the Outdoor Pavillion. We, at Cheyene and in behalf of the ABIA Organizers opens our hotel facilities for you to use for free but you will have to pay for anything you drink or eat (everybody laughed), you can either cool down at the swimming pool, get online on the web at our Business Center located at the ground floor beside the Coffee lounge, or get some of the calories burned down at our fitness gym at the 3rd floor or get into a serious game of pool and darts or just listen to some music and drink at the View Bar, althou they strictly don't serve more than two bottles of beer or 2 shots of wine and hard liquor at this time. Everyone reacted sadly and grumbled. Sorry but that is a conference rule, but you can come back tonight after the day ends and get drunk. Everyone clapped and laughed. If you do not have any outfits for swimming or the gym just go to our Sports Shop located at the ground floor and they will be happy to assists you. Thank you and enjoy the afternoon. I took the microphone from Bryce and said, "Let's give Bryce a round of applause." The moment you heard my voice you looked but Bryce was blocking the way. "For those of you who are booked here you can now checked in after your lunch we have requested for early check in for you instead of the regular 2pm check in time to give you some time to prepare for the afternoon event. Remember to register this afternoon before visiting the booths so your name can be included on the raffle draw for some nice items from all our sponsors." Chuck elbowed you on the arm and said, " There's your familiar voice again, and she's an organizer so it wouldn't be so hard to go find her." You smiled.

After finishing the lunch you told Chuck and Steve that you have to check in and they said they will be at the View Bar for some drinks and a game of pool. So, you went past the buffet table and went to walk to the ballroom entrance, you saw the group of organizers on the left side of the door, you looked at each one of them if they would seem familiar to you, you saw Kelsey who assisted you when you registered. You came to greet her and she smiled. She looked at your name tag and said, "hi Scott, anything I can do for you?" "I am on my way to check in at the hotel, just want to make sure I heard you right when you said we can checked in at our room now?" you said smiling. "You are right sir, althou I am not the one who announced it. It was Charice who did." She explained "Oh am sorry, then you are? " you asked nicely. " I'm Kelsey Sir.". "Nice to meet you Kelsey", you replied. She offered her hand and you shook it. " Can I ask you thou, the one who announced while back, you said her name is Charice right? She nodded, you continued "Oh, ok her voice just sound familiar, do you happen to know her full name or where she is right now?" Kelsey blushed, "I just met her yesterday, she works with the President of the Association who owns a bank, that's what I know but I can't remember her last name but you can ask her yourself, she's at the Business Center." You smiled at her and said, "Thanks, I better go see her then." She smiled back and waved goodbye.

I was at the Business Center and wrote an email for you, telling you all about my busy day. I know you wouldn't be online since you said you are going to attend a seminar. I wanted to kick myself I should have asked for more details of where and until when your seminar would be so at least maybe I can squeeze in some time to spend with you. After sending my email I went straight to the elevator on the left side of the door of the Business Center. You were almost running coming from the lobby at the right side of the Business Center as the elevator door closed. You went in and looked around but didn't see anyone familiar so you decided to go online and check your emails. Thinking, 'maybe Ria is online'. You made a frown when you didn't see my messenger light up then checked your email. A smile automatically formed in your face when you saw my email. You read it and thinking what I wrote seems to be the same as what just happened at the Conference and then you were shocked when you read, 'I better go freshen up in my room before the booths open at 2pm.' You thought, this isn't just a coincidence. You tried remembering what I said the past days, 'she said she would be at a Conference at Colorado Springs until the end of this week'. You asked yourself, 'Could it be that that conference is the one I am attending right now?' Then an overwhelming happy feeling filled you all over. You said to yourself, 'that familiar voice was Ria, it's got to be her!.' You closed the computer and said thanks to the person in charge and went to the Check in Counter, after checking in you asked the lady who gave your keycard, "Can you check if my friend has already checked in please. Her name is Reanne Charice Logan." The lady answered after looking up at her computer, "Yes Sir, she checked in yesterday, do you want me to check if she's in her room? " You replied happily, "yes please." After a few minutes, she hung up the phone and turned to you, "Sorry sir but no one is answering her phone" "It's okay I will call her later thanks!" The bellboy came to take your luggage and you followed him to the elevator. You can't take the smile off your face and the bellboy can't help but asked. "You looked really happy Sir." You said, "Is it that obvious?" He nodded, "Well I can't help it, I am seeing my girlfriend soon." He smiled back at you, he helped you open your door and put in your luggage, you hand him some tip and he said, "Thank you sir and good luck!" You smiled and said " Thanks!" and closed the door while thinking, 'this must be my lucky day'.

The Booths at the Outdoor Pavilion opened at exactly 2 o'clock and Chuck and Steve was at the registration waiting for you. You came smiling and wearing a light blue shirt and a black pants, and they recognized you changed. Chuck said, "that's why you are late and what are you smiling about?" You said, " Nothing, I just had a good rest, so I have better mood." He Replied and teased, "really or is it that you already found the owner of the familiar voice." You looked at him, winked and said, "might be!" And you pushed them both to the registration table. I was too busy running around from one booth to another to check if everything was prepared when I bumped in to Kelsey. I asked, "are the raffle prizes ready? Who is at the registration table? Is there any problem on your end?" Kelsey laughed and held both my arms, "relax! You have given everyone the instructions, this is the third time you checked am sure everything is fine. Here have some water." She gave me a bottled water. I took it, opened it and took a sip and said, "Well you know my boss is around here somewhere and I don't want to make any mistakes." She smiled and said, "the President already did his rounds and said that we have done a good job so don't worry." I breathe and smiled at her and said "that's good." We stayed on that corner and looked around for a while then she gasp. "Oh my gosh! I almost forgot, someone is looking for you. He said you sound familiar." "He?!", I asked "Yes, If I remember it right he's name is Scott and he's one of the attendees and he's got a yellow name tag on so he's from the Insurance side." She said continuously ... "there's something I noticed in him but I can't remember what." "Did you say he's name is Scott?" I asked and she nodded and said, "There something on his face that I remember..." "blue eyed?" I interrupted. She said, "yah that's it!" I was shocked, my heart beat raced. "Are you sure? " I asked again. "I am sure he's name is Scott and he's got blue eyes and he said your voice seems familiar but your name doesn't sound right. He checked in at lunch and I told him to find you at the Business Center." I ran off to the Check in counter without saying a word to Kelsey.

When I arrived the counter, Bryce was talking to his staff, he turned to me when he noticed I was standing in front of the counter. He said, "Hi Charice, you need something from me?" I hesitated for a while took a few deep breaths and asked, "Is it possible to check if a certain person checked in?" Bryce looked at me as if waiting for a reason. I said, "Oh it's my Boss he wanted to know if he's friend from an Insurance company is already here?" Bryce smiled, "Of course, let me have his name then so we can check." I gave him the name and waited patiently. Then I heard him say, " Yes, he just checked in at lunch. Do you want us to send him a message?" "No!" I replied to quickly... and remembered to calm down and said. "He is probably on the Booth section, I will just have Willie call him later." Then I noticed he was looking at me intently, I looked back at him with a questioning look. He said, "Are you sure you're alright? Your face is all red." I touched my face and said, "Oh must have been the heat from outside I have been running around. Thanks for the help Bryce, I have to go back now." I said and waived. My heartbeat is racing, my hands turned cold, started to get nervous and my knees are starting to shake. I stopped by the door of the pavilion and tried to calm down. Told myself, "it's Scott, I don't have to be nervous at all besides I have been wanting for a chance like this to happen anyway."
