Back at it with chapter two, hope you guys enjoy the first chapter. Anyways, this chapter will focus mainly on Odd and David's budding relationship. Without further adieu...

Odd lands on the desert ground in Lyoko being struck by a Tarantula as he groaned a bit.

"Odd, you just lost 20 life points, one more hit and you're done!" Jeremie said.

Just as the Tarantula prepared another laser, a fiery sword slash cuts it in half as David ran over helping the cat onto his feet.

"Thanks," Odd pants out smiling at David who smiled back. Both boys blushed slightly as Jeremie coughs slightly.

"Tower still needs to be deactivated," Jeremie said.

"Got it!" David said whistling as an orange and white lion then appears, "Give us a lift, Leo?"

"Yessir!" Leo roars slightly as David climbs onto him helping Odd onto the majestic beast, "this your boyfriend?"

"No!" David yells causing Jeremie to laugh, "Lord, you have no filter."

Leo smiles as Odd shook his head snickering to himself. Currently, it was just Odd and David in Lyoko as everyone else was in the Computer Room watching the screen with Jeremie giving comments about David's performance.

"So, favorite band?" Odd asks David as David thinks slightly.

"Anything related to anime," David replied smiling as Odd smirked slightly, "You?"

"Actually, Aelita did an incredible mix for a local dance building," Odd said as David's eyes sparkled.

"Really? I need to hear this," David said as Odd smiled slightly.

"Favorite color?" Odd then asks causing David to blush.

"Take a guess," David replied.

"Blue?" Odd said as David shook his head.

"Close, Purple," David said he points to Odd's outfit, "Like the purple you have on."

Odd stutters a bit blushing incredibly hard.

"Odd's at a lost for words?!" Yumi said, "That's a first!"

David laughs hysterically as Odd crosses his arms pouting. David smiles then sees the tower and also two Krabs on either side of a black ball.

"What is that in the middle?" David asks as Odd frowns.

"That's a Megatank," Odd said as David nodded, "You never seen a Megatank before?"

"Nope," David replied as Odd's eyes widen slightly.

"It's one of Xana's toughest monsters in Lyoko," Odd said, "None of our weapons have been able to penetrate its shell."

"Hmm... I'll take that challenge on," David said smirking.

"You think you can break through its shell!?" Odd questions as David slid off Leo.

"Yeah, care to make a wager?" David asks as Odd nodded, "Loser has to do whatever the Winner says."

"You're on!" Odd said as David pulls out fans that were similar to ones that Yumi used. With a slight shriek, David launches them destroying the two Krab guards as David catches his fans placing them in holsters on his lower back. The Megatank soon opens charging its signature attack as David unsheathes his Lunar Sword readying himself. The Megatank launches its elliptical laser as David blocks it sliding back harshly.

"Not so easy is it David?" Ulrich said

"Oh hush!" David yells growling a bit. David attempts to find his footing as he quickly stops sliding backwards holding the laser at a stalemate, "Lord, its power is unparalleled... But so is mine!!!"

With a slash, David destroys the attack easily taking slight damage from the shards of energy glass the attack left. The Megatank closes its shell and prepare to roll at David.

"His pain tolerance is amazing!" Jeremie said typing on the keyboard as he was comparing David's capabilities to the rest of the Lyoko Warriors, "He held his own with the Megatank's laser and only took decimal points of damage!"

"It's incredible," Aelita said smiling, "But I am really interested if he can break through its shell."

"If Ulrich's sabres can't break through it," Yumi said, "What makes David think his blades will?"

"You know I can hear you all, Right?" David replied, "And I will show you how..."

David jumps back as he unsheathes Solaris frowning slightly.

"I think you should go for it," Leo said as he transforms into his energy state. Odd lands on his butt as he watches Rune appear to David's left side in his energy form.

"Going for the full power?" Rune asks as David nodded, "Great! Now we can really let lose!!!"

David's swords soon floated above his palms as solar fire began travelling down David's right arm and into the blade. The same was said about David's Lunar Sword; however, icicles travelled down David's left arm energizing into the Lunar Sword.

"I don't understand..." Jeremie said slightly in awe.

"What's going on Einstein?" Odd asks.

Jeremie kept typing as he watches David's avatar card appear and slowly change.

"His avatar is changing!" Jeremie exclaimed, "As if he had another form and not told us about!"

"Say what!" Odd yells

"This is incredible!" Jeremie said continuing to type, "David's stats are beyond what we've expected."

"Oh they are not beyond," David said with a slight deeper voice. His shirt had changed to that of a royal knight minus the chainmail. His sword was singular but the blade was consistent with the lunar and solar blades creating a helix shape.

"Oh my..." Odd said with wide eyes as David smiles at the comedian.

"Yeah, I was holding back slightly," David said placing the sword onto his shoulder, "Charge up!"

The sword began glowing harshly charging up a powerful attack. David's eyes changed to full bronze as he takes a runner's stance. The Megatank then rolls harshly towards David who sprinted towards the monster leaving a bronze color blaze in the tailwind. Once reaching the center, David spins his entire body colliding with the Megatank slamming his blade against the rotating armor causing sparks to fly.

"Woah!" Odd yells jumping a bit watching the scene. David grunts being pushed back slightly but then he pushes back slightly holding the blade more tighter.

"Game..." David said pulling back then shoves his body forward shoving his blade into the shell stopping the Megatank's attack completely, "Over!"

David slashes through the Megatank's shell as well as its eye of Xana destroying it in a bronze explosion. Odd's eyes widen slightly as his gasps escaped his lips.

"He... He..." Odd said as Jeremie's voice came through.

"What?" Jeremie asks.

"He actually cut through its shell," Odd said trembling, "N-No way..."

The rest of the Lyoko Warriors had the same expression as Odd as they trembled slightly.

"No one has been able to cut through the Megatank's shell," Ulrich said, "How was he able to..."

"I'll explain once the tower is deactivated," David said before entering the tower.

(Timeskip)

David was sitting on the bench reading a book when the rest of the guys came over pushing Odd towards him.

"Ok ok!" Odd yells at his friends who were smiling wickedly, "So, what do you have planned for me, sir?"

"Sir?" David questions removing his reading glasses, "Little bit extreme?"

Odd blushes a bit as David closes his book smiling slightly.

"Give me minute to change," David said running to his room. Everyone waited as Ulrich smirks at Odd.

"When are you going to make your move?" Ulrich asks, "Since you're always asking about me and Yumi."

Odd frowns a bit as David walks back out wearing a gray shirt underneath a purple jacket, black jeans, and sneakers. He was fixing purple long fingerless gloves that stopped at his elbows as he walked over to an awestruck Odd.

"Ready?" David asks, "I just want a tour of the city."

"Really?" Odd questions as David nodded smiling leaning towards Odd's ear.

"Then, I can treat us to dinner later?" David whispers as Odd blushes a bit nodding with David pulling back, "Good. We better get started."

Odd smiles as he and David wave bye to their friends and headed out on their journey. Ulrich and Yumi talked to each other laughing.

"What are you two giggling about?" Jeremie asks as Yumi smiles.

"Me and Ulrich have a little wager on if Odd gets a kiss from David," Yumi said, "I said that David would be the first one to kiss Odd. Ulrich thinks the opposite."

"Count us in then!" Jeremie, Aelita, and William said laughing.

Odd and David were laughing as Odd held David's arm smiling.

"So tell me more about you," Odd said.

"Well, I'm into singing and dancing," David said as he thinks, "I was the youngest contestant on a national singing competition where I was runner up."

"Seriously?" Odd said as David nodded.

"Um, personal life wise," David said, "My father passed away when I was ten. It was me, my mother, and my... Little sister."

David chokes up slightly trying not cry as he said the last part. Odd looks at David's eyes noticing tears forming in his eyes.

"What happened with you little sister?" Odd asks as David sighs a bit. He stops sitting down on a rock wall frowning.

"She was recording the video of the purple tower in Lyoko," David said as Odd sat next to him nodding, "it... Xana has my sister held hostage."

Odd gasps slightly as he hugs David.

"I didn't know... I'm so sorry," Odd said as David held Odd tightly, "Hey hey, let's get something to eat then head back to the dorms."

"Alright..." David said with a smile as he and Odd went to the nearest restaurant. The two teens order the same thing blushing as they did.

"Your orders will be out in a little bit," The waiter said.

"Merci mon bon monsieur," David said in French as the waiter smiles impressed with David's bilingual speech.

"Woah, I didn't know you spoke French," Odd said smirking a bit.

"C'est parce que tu ne l'as jamais demandé, mon guerrier chat sexy," David replies back in French confusing Odd, "It means 'That's because you never asked, my sexy cat warrior'."

Odd blushes incredibly hard as David smiles slightly. Their order soon came out which consisted of two cheeseburgers and fries as the teens ate laughing a bit. After eating, the two boys walked out of the restaurant with David paying, of course, and headed back to the academy talking to each other.

(Timeskip)

"Well, here we are," Odd whispered to David in front of Odd's dorm room, "And we'll help you get your sister back from Xana. You can count on me!"

David blinks a bit then smiles happily.

"Thank you so much... Odd," David said as Odd nods then leans attempting to place a kiss on David's cheek which landed on David's lips due to David turning his head. Both boys' eyes widen as David smirks pulling Odd closer to him. Odd smiles slightly wrapping his arms around David's neck enjoying the kiss as they separate.

"That was nice," Odd said causing David to snicker quietly, "Goodnight David."

"Night Odd," David replied as he walked to his room smiling slightly. Odd enters his room as he looks over at Ulrich who smirked.

"How was your date?" Ulrich asks as Odd changed into his pajamas.

"It was amazing," Odd said smiling.

"Alright, who kissed who?" Ulrich said as Odd blushes.

"I'm not telling you that," Odd said laying on his bed as Odd's dog, Kiwi, joined him laying down, "Now, I'm going to sleep. Goodnight."

Odd passes out snoring slightly as Ulrich chuckles to himself then lays down.

David sat at his table typing on a computer smiling slightly as he yawns slightly. He turns his computer off and lays down on his bed staring at the ceiling thinking.

"He is really cute, that Odd," David said smiling before falling asleep.

The next morning, Odd and Ulrich were showering as David enters the bathroom humming to himself not realizing the other two in the shower.

"Target on my back
Lone survivor lasts
They got me in their sites
No surrender no
Trigger fingers go
Living the dangerous life..."

Odd and Ulrich went wide eyed as they stuck their heads out of the shower staring at David who was taking his clothes off singing "Feel Invincible" by Skillet acapella.

"Hey, hey, hey
Everyday when I wake
I'm trying to get up, they're knocking me down
Chewing me up, spitting me out
Hey, hey, hey
When I need to be saved
You're making me strong, you're making me stand
Never will fall, never will end
Shot like a rocket up into the sky
Nothing could stop me tonight..."

"Holy cow!" Odd and Ulrich yelled quietly hearing David's voice. David had control being able to switch from chest voice to head voice and vice versa with the male and female voices of the song. However, David had fully stepped into a shower and began cleaning just as Odd and Ulrich had finished showering getting their signature clothes on.

"I knew David could sing but..." Odd said fanning his face with his hand. Ulrich chuckled at his roommate smirking.

"But he's your boyfriend," Ulrich said causing Odd to blush.

"S-so what?" Odd said as Ulrich laughed. The two boys get outside seeing William, Yumi, Aelita, and Jeremie at the vending machine that sells hot chocolate.

"Hey guys... What's up with Odd?" Aelita asks as Ulrich smirks.

"Well, we just heard Odd's boyfriend sing in the bathroom," Ulrich said as the group chuckles except for Odd, who noticed David walking out of the building wearing a snowy white turtleneck shirt and blue jeans. This caused the teen to blush slightly harder than before as William noticed David walking towards the music studio.

"Hey, speaking of Odd's boyfriend..." William said as everyone watched David enter the studio looking over his shoulder as he does then closes the door, "What was that about?"

"Good question... Let's find out," Jeremie said as Odd's eyes widen.

"Hey! Let's not bother David!" Odd yells as everyone had ran towards the door to the studio. Odd sighs following his friends being just as curious. The group of six looked inside the room watching David sitting at the soundboard scrolling through songs on his phone.

"What are you feeling?" David hears Rune's voice from his mind as David sighs.

"Don't know..." David replies, "Usually Rosa would pick my songs that I would sing for her..."

David tears up slightly thinking about his sister as Ulrich frowns.

"Who's Rosa?" Ulrich asks.

"David's little sister," Odd replied, "She's been taken hostage by Xana and David been after him ever since."

"Oh that's awful!" Aelita quietly yells looking at David in shock, "I know how that feels..."

"How about the male version of Bad Romance?" Rune's voice suggests as David chuckles shaking his head.

"No... I have a song in mind," David said plugging his phone into the soundboard getting up. Rune chuckles a bit reading David's mind.

"Is this for that scrawny teen?" Rune asks as David nodded entering the booth. When he does, the other Lyoko Warriors soon entered being able to watch David while he couldn't see them. Yumi looks at David's phone then began snickering slightly.

"He's going to sing an Ariana Grande song," Yumi said, "And it is a good one too."

The song's intro soon plays as David stood in front of the mic wearing the headphones on one of his ears gauging his voice.

"I'm so into you, I can barely breathe
And all I wanna do is to fall in deep
But close ain't close enough 'til we cross the line, hey, yeah
So name a game to play, and I'll roll a dice, hey..."

The group looked at David with wide eyes as David sung with a gentle high pitched chest voice almost angel like. The rest of the session goes well as the group leaned back as David's voice trilled upwards for the bridge belting out a slight high pitch note then sang the ending of the song in the higher octave.

"Dude, he has amazing control!" Aelita yells as David smiles taking the headphones off and exiting the booth seeing the group. His body tenses up as a bright red hue covers his face noticing everyone's smirks.

"How long were y'all standing there?" David asks as Yumi ponders.

"Well, we were here for the entire session," Yumi said as David covered his face with his turtleneck, "And you have an amazing voice."

"Really?" David asks as the group nodded, "Thanks!"

Everyone left the studio as soon several students ran over to two eighth grade girls who ran the local news at the school.

"What's going on?" David asks as Odd pushes through the crowd talking to the head journalist, Millie. Odd quickly grabs the clipboard shoving through the crowd of students as he smiles widely.

"Winter Solstice Talent Show!" Odd yells as the group cheered except for David, "It's a show where the winner decides the theme of our Winter Dance."

David grabs the clipboard writing down his name and talent all in cursive as he smiles.

"You going for it?" Jeremie questions as David nods.

"It'll be fun," David said handing the clipboard back to Odd, "Plus, I'll get to embarrass Odd."

Odd blushes a bit as he walks back to give the clipboard back to the girls. The girls cheered allowing people to sign up for it.

"Wait... Why couldn't others sign up for it?" David asks as Yumi giggles.

"It's tradition that new students place their names on it first," Yumi replies causing David to smirk slightly.

"Really?" David said as Jeremie nods then checks his laptop seeing a tower was activated.

"Xana's activated a tower," Jeremie said as David frowns then hears Sissi scream. The group watched as Sissi was thrown across the ground by another girl. The girl was about ten years old having solid white hair wearing a purple two piece dress as David's eyes widen.

"...Rosa?" David said as the girl growls slightly having the eye of Xana for eyes staring at David.
