"Kris?..."

"Kris, honey.. are you awake?.."

"You and (Y/n) need to get to school soon..."

"W-wait.. is that.. a knife!!? NOOOOO-"

Toriel came storming into her son's room with an angry look on her face, an empty tin in her hands. She made her way over to Kris's side of the room, where Kris was still sound asleep with his arms wrapped around (Y/n) just like he had fallen asleep the night before. "Kris, did you eat all of the pie?!"

As soon as he heard his mother's angry tone, he fluttered his eyes open, tiredly looking up at her. "Wha-?.."

"The pie, Kris... care to explain why there isn't any left??" Toriel asked with an accusing look. Kris paled, now realising what she was talking about. "Uhhh... no?" He answered.

Toriel facepalmed. "It's YOUR knife in this empty tin, is it not?!"

Kris sighed, knowing that she caught him. "Sorry..." he muttered and Toriel began chuckling in amusement.

At this point, (Y/n) was beginning to wake up from the sound of the conversation. "What?.." she yawned

"Oh Kris.. am I going to have to lock the oven again?" Toriel chuckled and this made (Y/n) even more confused since she didn't have any context. "Huh?.. why? What happened?" She asked sitting up while Kris remained laying down with an arm over his eyes.

"Mr. Sweet tooth here helped himself to the pie during the night." Toriel said teasingly, showing her the empty tin. (Y/n) chuckled. "Really? The whole pie?? Wow, I didn't even hear you get up." She said to him. Kris remained silent.

"Well hurry out of bed, you two. It is time for school." Toriel said.

"We will!" (Y/n) cheered and Toriel smiled at the girl before leaving the room.

(Y/n) then turned her head back to Kris. "You heard her. Come on" she smiled.

"Hm....don't wanna... too tired.." he muttered, his arm still covering his eyes. Kris felt like he hadn't slept at all during the night.

"Aww.. did that piece of pie keep you up all night?~" (Y/n) teased and Kris blushed. "No.."

"You know, I'm very hurt that you didn't at least wake me when you got your midnight snack. I also would have gone for a slice." (Y/n) pouted playfully.

"Then there wouldn't have been as much for me, now would there?..." Kris muttered with a hint of amusement in his tone.

"Oh! I see how it is! Can't even share with your own... uh guest!" (Y/n) settled on saying. She was about to say the g-word but she wasn't quite sure if Kris and her were an official couple so she settled on the said word instead.

"Yeah.. what are you gonna do about it?.."  Kris said back tiredly but still playfully.

(Y/n) grinned and moved over to sit on his stomach. "Then I'm not gonna let you up and Toriel will scold you!" She stated with a confident nod.

"You're just gonna sit on top of me?.. don't threaten me with a good time, doll~" he flirted and lifted his arm to reveal his bright red eyes between his bangs. (Y/n) blushed and stuttered, taking a pillow and hitting him over the head with it. "S-Shut up!"

Kris chuckled at her reaction. "In all seriousness though, I don't want to get scolded. So we reluctantly have to get up.."  Kris yawned and moved (Y/n) off him and sitting up.

"Yeah.. you're probably right. Besides, I can't wait to see what lighteners school is actually like!" (Y/n) cheered and got out of bed.

The two quickly got ready, looking away to give each other some privacy as the other changed, of course, and they left the room. (Y/n) had a skip in her step and Kris was walking slightly behind her, his hands in his pocket and a thoughtful look on his face.

'It happened again...' he thought to himself as he thought back to the previous night.

His memory was quite blurry about what exactly he had done... besides eating the pie of course.

The two made their way outside where Toriel was already waiting by the car. "Well shall we go?" She asked and Kris nodded. (Y/n) gave an enthusiastic "yes!" nd the three got into the car and Toriel started driving them to school.

(Y/n) was fascinates by the form of transport but then noticed that Kris wasn't talking much and was just looking out the window.

Worriedly, she placed a gentle hand on his which managed to snap him out of his thoughts. "Are you okay..?" She asked quietly so Toriel wouldn't hear.
Kris thought for a moment before nodding. "Yeah..."

(Y/n) wasn't fully convinced but decided to let it go. 'He'll come to me if something bothering him.... right?...' she thought as they soon arrived at school to start a new day.

I'm sorry if this is short but it seemed like a good start for our new journey.
