Bella's POV:

I couldn't believe in what had happened on this last 8 hours.

He was asking me on a date again. Like for real.

He wanted to go on a date with me and it sounds pretty serious.

How will it affect Cherry? Because no matter what, she's the reason how I get to know him despite the fact that we already bumped once in a gym.

Well, I guess I shouldn't think about that though. It's not like I'm dating him.

He won't date me. How can he, right?

Perhaps, this date is only to make it up for him.

The alarm clock roared and I remembered that it's time for me to get ready. I fixed an alarm at 6 so that I could get ready before the time he says.

This time I shouldn't be late or unready because I don't want to hurt him again.

And, I definitely don't want to cry again.

So, I began to get ready and I started with taking a shower again.

After taking a shower, I made my way to my closet and tried to find for a fine clothing.

Luckily, I found the nice one as it was one of my favourite design. It's a florally colourful sleeveless dress which is promptly below my knee.

I have no flabby arms, so wearing sleeveless dress won't put grudge on me. Well, despite my thick thighs and none hourglass figure.

I put my hair loose in the curls and I applied a bit of make up, adding with a mascara and some gloss.

As I got ready, the time was already 8 and I was standing near my door. Awaiting for a honk or something and I'm already in my heels.

Trying my best to walk precisely in this killer heels. Sometimes, heels did give me some headache.

15 minutes had passed and I was literally lingering on the door for a honk. Soon, I noticed that it was already 8.30 and no sounds of honk heard.

I finally made a decision to walk out of the house and who knows, that he was waiting for me on the parking without making a sound.

So, I walked out of my door and lean over at the corridor to survey around for his car.

None caught my eyes and I was stunned.

What if...what if it's a sort of revenge?

I have no handphone either to contact him so what should I do now?

I knew I couldn't think it this way because I don't want to jump into the conclusion like earlier again.

So, I waited.

8.30 became 8.45 and still no sign.

I started to give up on believing him for showing up today.

Maybe, it's a revenge for him.

Maybe, it's just a plan to make me a fool.

Though, I deserved it.

"Ms Oborn, are you okay? " I heard Mr Dollan approaching me with his face full of concern.

"Ya, Mr Dollan. I'm alright. I-I'm just waiting for someone. " I told him and he quickly smiled while my eyes wandered around the parking area once again to find him.

"Is that the young guy who came to meet you that day? " he asked out of nowhere and I awkwardly nodded.

"Well, he is a nice young man. Have fun you two. " the old man joked with a chuckle and walked away from the corridor. I stood there, stunned with my eyes doubled size.

For some reason, my heart melted and warmth enveloped me to hear those compliment from Mr Dollan. At once, I knew that Noah is a nice guy too because the way he treated me either Cherry when they were dating, was so pleasant.

He did never acted that bossy nor moody around Cherry, maybe except the days when they fought so many times.

But yet, he never quit on her. He kept on chasing her, even though the fault was on her.

I kind of felt hurt most of time when I saw his undying love for her and now, the hurt's over reacting as I'm going to go on a date with that same guy.

Later, a loud honk of a car took my attention and my lips tilted into a relief smile.

He stopped the vehicle on the waiting porch and jumped out instantly in a suit pants yet rolled sleeved shirt. While grabbing something in his hand, he walked further then he stopped in spot as he saw me on the corridor.

He waved at me with a smile and I waved back. I signaled him that I will be down and went into my house again to take my bag. Exiting the door while locking it behind, I walked to the elevator and in seconds, I was on the ground floor.

I walked my way out while nodding a little to Mr Dollan and at last, I saw him. Leaning into his car with a cute smirk.

Did I just say that he is cute? Oh my God.

I was super nervous as this was my first time going out on a date and I clutched my bag tightly.

"Come on, we are already late. Aren't you gonna get in the car? " he questioned with a chuckle and I made my way to the car's door quickly.

I was about to open the door when he suddenly prevented me to do so. I stared at him surprisingly and as his eyes were on me, his hand went to open the door for me.

I couldn't even nod and smile for this gesture because it's kind of so unusual and tempted.

His burning eyes were driving my system crazy. Shiver and tingles are also evident.

As I was in my thoughts, I shortly noticed that we were already driving on the road. It was a uncomfortable silence and it's awkward as hell.

I never in million years thought that I will be going on a date with a guy like him.

"I'm sorry, Bella. " he said in a hush as he was focused in the road.

"Huh? " I was lost in words, unknowing about what was he talking about.

"For being late...like really late. I'm sorry. " he apologized again. I was about to say it's okay but then he extended me a wrapped box.

I stare at him confusingly.

"This is the reason why I was late. I rushed to get a new handphone for you. I don't know why my stupid brain couldn't notice it earlier but luckily it did before coming over to your place. " he explained and I tear a bit on a side of the wrapper, where I saw the logo of an Iphone.

"You...don't need to do this. " I said surprisingly.

"I needed too. What if there's any emergency calls or messages from anyone you love? Will you even blame your handphone? I don't want others to react the same as me anymore. " he pressed the last words and it held a deep meaning in me.

He still didn't forgive me.

"Noah...I'm sorry. " I apologized again and he shook his head, left to right.

"You don't have to be. Just don't be like this next time. Between, I'm sorry. I shouldn't had to made you wait that longer. " he uttered again as he glanced me every now and then.

"I thought...that you will never show up. " I murmured under my breath and I mentally slapped myself to expose what's in my mind.

I just hope that he never liste--

"I won't do that, Bella. I always keep my promises, no matter what. " he said softly as he stared me fully when the car stopped on the traffic light.

His eyes was so beautiful with that hazel orbs and how could I fail to notice it. His a blonde as I seen before and it's messy as usual. Perfectly trimmed beard and astonishing jaw line.

His an ideal definition of perfection in the male population.

And, I'm going on a date with the guy himself.

I don't want to ask this to myself but it's a prominent thing to ask by now.
