Kavin's POV!!

Everything is going smooth and good. Today is Monday! I completed my site works and went to my home at half past 3.

I freshen up and changed into lungi with a vest which is the common comfortable dress for men in Tamilnadu 😜.

I noticed that MUGHILAKYA group which is untouched when I surfed through WhatsApp in my phne. I started thinking about how to start the conversation in that group. I almost spent 30 mins in thinking🤔.

Then I got the most lame idea to start the conversation. I send it expecting everyone to reply. Like as I thought, Kathir replied and questioned my stupid text. I sent the real reason. Simultaneously, Maya, Ilakya, Mughil everyone texted except the one.

I checked the txt info.. Voah! She saw my txt in the next second itself. Then why she didn't reply till now!

I just sent my doubt hoping that any of the one could understand. Like as I thought, My smart sister asked for her. She replied immediately. I felt bad... Really! Then why she didn't reply for my msg!?

Is she ignoring me!? But why!?

Is she ignoring me because of that weird eye lock we had on the middle of the road or because of her sassy attitude that day!?🤔🤔

Either of that both, I should be clear and make her to talk with me!

I mentally noted. But something is bothering me inside my heart because of her silence.

I'm a type of person who can't tolerate any long arguments, misunderstanding and cold wars too. Basically, I'm bit straight forward. If I had any doubt, I'll ask them then and there to clear misunderstandings and arguments.

And even if I had fight or argue with someone, I'd finish it within 1 hour. I can't even last the fight for a day because I can't able to sleep with that.

But in her case, I don't know whether I should ask or not.

Today going to be a sleepless night!

Now I'm talking with my mom in hall watching 'UTHTHAMA PUTHIRAN' movie. Now, 'Kannirandil' song is playing.

My thoughts literally went to Kannamma and her eyes without my knowledge. It was like god answering the unanswered questions of my heart.

Suddenly my mobile started ringing. I jerked from my dream land and quickly took my mobile. I gasped seeing the caller id.

Kaatu poona(wild cat)??

My amma stared me curiously..

I attended it ignoring the looks from my mom. I said 'Hello' but no response.

I waited for few more minutes. Yet no response. I tried by saying hello again and again with weird sounds. Still no response from her instead I heard Ezhil aunty's voice.

'Hello..' Ezhil auntie said.

"Hello ma.. Kavin here. How are you ma?" I asked her genuinely.

"Oh hello pa.. I'm fine how are you all?"
She asked me.

"Everyone is fine here ma.." I asked waiting for her to tell the reason for the call that too from Kannamma's mobile.

"Kavin.. I called to talk with Kayal anni regarding something about marriage. My mobile is repaired and Kannamma didn't have anni's number. That's why we called you dear. Is it okay? Or are you busy?" She told the reason politely.

"No probs ma.. I'll give phne to amma.. You can talk with her!" Saying this, I gave my mobile to my amma.

She talked in phne for almost 20 mins. Then she gave me the mobile saying that she had work in kitchen.

I use this chance to clear my doubt with Kannamma.

I said hello and waited for her reply. She replied after a long pause. But her voice is somewhat very familiar in mobile. It was like I heard it before in phne. I shrugged it off the thought.

I asked my doubt openly. She replied casually that was never even came in her mind to ignore me.

I felt some liteness in my heart hearing her answer. Then she said that her throat is blocked. I asked her to cure asap. I don't know why I felt worried hearing that.

Then I remembered that she helped my mom. I thanked her and asked what ever she want.. But instead she blow💨 her anger at me.

'Sariyana kaatu poona! Eppa paaru enkita seerikite irukaa!😒😒 Na ipa enna perusa ketuten!😏😏 kaatu poona... Kaatu poona!!'

I muttered which she can't hear😜. Then within minutes, my mom returned and told that pooja is waiting in call in her phne.

Pooja is my cousin. She is such a sweet heart! She is my age only. But she is matured more than me. She is my well wisher and guide. I share everything with her since my childhood. Even I have Ilakya as sister, she is younger than me, so I can't share my worries or fears to her. She'll be stressed then but pooja is unlike her. She understands and gives me good advices and leads me in a good way. So obviously she is as close as Ilakya to me.

I talked with her and shared about Ilakya's wedding, about Mughil, Maya and Kannamma too. Of course, I didn't share about my weird feeling. I decided to share with her in person when she came here for wedding.

I asked her to come for pre engagement itself. But she is quite busy with her job. She is a fashion designer in abroad. She said she'll surely come before Engagement. I agreed with her without any choice.

Then I went to my bed after having my dinner.

FRIDAY...  'POO VAITHAL OR PRE ENGAGEMENT FUNCTION!'

I woke up early as today is a special day. Yesterday was hectic because of the shopping and arrangements for today's occasion. Today I woke up at 5 am. I took bath and dressed myself in a yellow shirt 💛! I took my mobile and called the cook to know when will he come to prepare breakfast as everyone will be here at 8.30. The cook said he'll be here in an hour. 

I came out of my room. I saw my mom and dad is running here and there cleaning home and checking everything is fine or not.

I went near my mom and dad. They smiled at me.

"Kavin! Did you call the cook?? He is still not here!" My amma said worriedly.

"Don't worry mom! He'll be here within an hour! I just called him now!" I said she nodded.

"Wait da.. I'll make coffee for you!" My mom said. I held her wrist.

"Sit here mom. I'll make it and I know that you also didn't had your coffee." I said she bite her tongue giving caught reaction. I chuckled and went to kitchen.

I made 4 coffee including for Ilakya. I gave to my mom and dad.

"Ma.. Did you check Ilakya? Is she still sleeping?" I asked. She widened her eyes.

Oops! I totally forget about her in worrying about other stuffs! She said tapping her head. I chuckled at her cute antics.

Be calm ma.. I'll check her.. Don't worry! I said sipping my coffee and went to her room holding her coffee mug in another hand.

When I was about to open the door, she came out side holding two sarees in her hands with a frown in her face. She is wearing nightie with a loose hair which is wet. I chuckled. She went inside seeing me .

I entered her room.

Voahhh!! Is any storm hitted her room alone??

Her room is a pure mess. Dresses were scattered everywhere. Ear rings, bangles, nail polish, etc were scattered in her bed.

Enna di ithu!! Kuppa thotti ya vida kevalama iruku!? Enna panni vachruka! Itha Mughil machan veetla paatha.. Namma kudumbathuke periya kumbuda potutu poiduvanga! Ponnoda room mathriya iruku ithu!? I said she pouted.

She said pouting. I chuckled placing the mugs in side table. I hugged her patting her back.

I said. She smiled. Then she drank coffee, we started cleaning her room. After around 20 mins, we finished cleaning. I checked her closet to choose one saree. I spot a green color saree which looks simple with a golden color thin border. I took and showed it to her. She smiled widely tooking it from me.

Then I left there and came to hall. The cook came there. Appa is discussing something with him. I saw mom who is talking with someone in her mobile. I checked the time which shows half past 7.

I decided to called Kathir to check him. He already said that he can't guarantee his presence today. But I can't leave him. He is my only best friend. Suddenly a idea popped in my mind. Why not ask everyone whether they are ready or not!

I sent message in MUGHILAKYA group.

Me: Good morning☀

Vaalu (naughty): Good morning Machan😉

Uyir natpu(close frnd): Machan ah🙄🙄🙄

Then Kathir came. I raised my brow at him with a frown. He understood my reaction and gestured me that he'll tell later. I nodded.

Within 20 mins, we heard a horn sound.. They are all came finally!

First Maaran uncle and Ezhil auntie came, then Mughil machan, then Maya!! Thenn... Thenn...

Where is she!??

Anni! Where is Kannamma!

My amma asked the question which is revolving around my mind.

She'll come in 5 mins... Actually Van is full, so she's coming here by her scooty!

Ezhil ma said. Everyone went inside except me. I stood there expecting her to come. But Kathir dragged me inside. As usual, Kathir and maya started their eye fight as everyone is around us.

Everyone started eating breakfast first which is arranged in terrace. This is our tamil culture which the most important thing when guests come to our home is to serve them food! (Virunthombal)

But I didn't ate anything. Like me, Maya too waited for her sister. I gave Breakfast to my sister in her room as Mughil nagged me to give her food. It is not like I'm not going to give her food by myself. But Mughil didn't eat till I went to give her food. Kathir too waited for me to eat.

I heard scooty sound, I ran to balcony in terrace to saw her.

Voaahhh!! She is like goddess in her skyblue 💙 color chudi. I'm in yellow shirt 💛..

I saw her. She looked up at me.

*Eye lock*

It was like I'm a yellow sun, she is blue sea... I was like drowning in her... She turned red.. It was like a Sunset!

But in my heart.. It was like a Sunrise🌄!

I chuckled at my own thought! And smiled at her. She too smiled awkwardly at me. Then she went inside. I waited for her to come to terrace.
