Yesterday, I confirmed that this stupid Kathir is in love with my Vaalu. It was obvious from his eyes. But my only confusion is how to tell this to kannamma?

I mean, Kannamma too know about Kathir and she genuinely likes him as a good friend. But being frnds with him and getting him married to her sister is totally different.

She may think that he's not the guy for Maya. But I guess, maya too have feelings for Kathir. So are they really in love with each other? But why they looked stressed and disturbed? Did they get into a fight or something else?

I decided to talk with Kannamma before making decisions. At night, I was so nervous and I really had no idea of how to start the conversation.

But before I could say, she told me everything! Oh my goodness! Thank god! Everything which I struggled how to narrate was told by herself perfectly.

I became super happy and kissed her cheeks in excitement. She blushed and I too felt shy. Then we planned to talk with them the next day.

And then she asked me about why nivetha called. Saying about that, I was shocked would be understatement when she said about her innumerable crushes, forget about that crushes, what she mean by that 3 guys who proposed her just because of she sight them?

Can't she be careful while sighting someone? In my knowledge, most of the girls sights with the knowledge of no one other than them ryt?

And that guys must have enjoyed her sightings then😑😤! This single thought gave me immense frustration!!!!

I thought to ask her but it slipped my mind in the thoughts and excitement about Dhirya.

Ok coming to the present, now Maya came and they both went to our room. I'm waiting for Kathir to come here.

Within minutes, he came and I asked him to come to my room. He was confused by my behaviors but didn't question either.

When we went to my room. Maya gets offended and tried to leave. But Kannamma gets straight to the point with a stern look. Maya sat silently and so kathir do.

Shut up Maya! I want to ask you both one thing! Do you love each other? Tell me the truth

Kannamma asked sternly with expressionless face. They both taken aback and looked at each other because of this unexpected question. Do they think we can't see the love?

Maya glared Kathir furiously in which he gulped with a awkward smile.

No../Yes.. This time maya said yes and Kathir said no. Now They both looked us with a caught look.

Calm down first! Tell us the truth. We'll support you if you explain about your true feelings honestly. Kannamma said calmly with a small smile.

Yes! You don't have to be worry or confuse. Just tell us what are you both actually feeling. You can trust us in this. You know right! We love you both equally. I said.

No! Kanns loves me more than she loves this monkey friend of yours, isn't it kanns? Maya asked annoyed and with the look that says 'dare to deny me'.

What? No! My mi chan loves me more than she loves this little devil, isn't it kanns? Kathir asked with puppy dog eyes. I looked at Kannamma who just sighed deeply.

Kathir! Maya! First stop this! You both are not kids and why are you acting like one? And you didn't even answer my questions. Or by any chance, are you trying to divert the topic? Kannamma asked narrawing her eyes. They both gave a caught look biting their tongue.

Maya took a deep breath before starting to speak.

Akka, Machan.. Okay! I'll tell everything. I love him. I proposed him. I didn't mean to hide it from you. I decided to tell you everything and convince you if he accept me. I just don't want to ruin your bond by telling that he didn't accept my love. It'll create awkwardness for all of us. So only I decided to tell you if he also loves me.

Maya said almost with tears in her eyes lowering her head. I glared furiously at Kathir who already hung his head low.

Excuse me Mr.Kathir! Explain!!! I yelled making him to jerk and snap at me. He gulped seeing my furious eyes.

Because I know the feeling which Maya is experiencing now. I once gone through this. This is totally rubbish. If he didn't like her, then no one is going to force him even maya too. But he didn't have any damn rights to say that her love is just a attraction.

It hurts like hell if the one we love didn't even respect our feelings! As I said before, maya is more matured than all of us. Even she proved it again by the reason which she gave for hiding this from us. She even thinks deep about the consequences.

She didn't want to ruin our relationship with Kathir! But this idiot!!!!! He hurted her this much that she even shed tears!! How dare he hurt my vaalu!!!!!

I said explain!!!! I again yelled.

I.. I'm sorry.. That's all he said. Did he think this single word will solve everything?

I thought that she pranked with me so only she accepted his love in front of everyone. I was so frustrated and felt betrayed. I yelled what came in my mind at that time. I really didn't mean it. I'm sorry.

What the heck!!!!! Maya is beyond frustrated now.

I thought I love a stupid monkey but no! You're more than that.. I don't even know what to call you.. Dunce? Stupid? Crazy? No words can describe your stupidity! Thank god! You didn't accept me. Maya said in utter annoyance. Kathir just stared her while pouting at her like a lkg kid with a puppy dog face.

Maya! Calm down.. Let him explain what he meant! Kathir.. Why you thought like that? Do you know my parent's age gap? It's 8 years. Age gap is not even a big deal. Why did you think like that? Kannamma asked calmly.

Today morning something happened.

I was so much confused about what to tell Kavin today. I know he might have guessed my feelings by yesterday's incidents so only he called me to meet him in his house.

I was walking to and fro in my room when my amma entered who looks happy today.

"Are you trying to lose weight?" My mom asked. I looked at her perplexed.

"Then why are you walking here and there? What happened?" She asked.

"Nothing laksh! Why are you looking so happy now? Any good news?" I asked.

"Yes da! Your cousin Arun is going to get married in two months. And your appa also returning from military in a month as he's going to retire." She said happily.

"What? Really? Appa is coming? Woww! Finally Sathyamoorthy has time to come home and see his family!!" I said. She nodded with a smile.

Arun is my cousin, my periyappa's (paternal uncle) son. He's 3 years older than me and he's 30 now. It was really a toughest task for his family to search a bride for him. They searched for more than 5 years.

"It's a love marriage da. Her name is Sudha. She's a post graduate. You don't dare to flirt with her and you Should call her Anni no matter what how much she's younger than you! Understand?" She warned me.

"Why are you saying this all to me? Don't you have faith in your son? And why would I call her by name? As if she's just graduated from college!" I said.

But here, she's a matured woman and moreover she completed her studies now. She can decide what she wants and what she didn't want. To the top of all, They're loving each other.

He's a professor in her college. They both develop feelings for each other. So after completing her studies, they decided to get married. What's wrong in that? They didn't ran away like them not even caring about their studies and parents." My amma said.

"So you're telling there's no wrong in marrying a girl who's more younger the boy?" I asked.

"Ofcourse! That's what our custom ryt? Marrying elder girl only not allowed in our society! I mean it's not a myth but there's also a reason behind it." She said.

"Dei stupid! I'm not telling about living casually. I'm telling about husband-wife relationship! It's unhealthy.(It's true as per Ayurveda)" She said smacking my head. I nodded not knowing how to react.

"Why are you asking curiously about marrying a elder girl? Keep this in mind, I'll never allow you to marry a elder girl! So if you have any idea about that, drop it now itself!" She said warningly.

"But it's okay for you if I marry a much younger girl than me ryt?" I asked.

"Ofcourse! And what's with this excitement? Do you love someone?" She asked suspiciously.

"No.. No laksh.. Just asked out of curiousity.. Hehe😁!" Saying this, I smiled sheepishly and left.

So this is what happened! My amma made me realize my stupidity! He finished.

Then I have other punishments! She said smirking. He looked at her with a horrified reaction.

You have to wait for me every evening in my college and have to buy me icecreams daily. Then you have to drop me in the bus stop which is near my home. This is your punishment till I complete my studies, that is for 7 to 8 months. She said with a shrug.

What?? He asked in disbelief.

What 'what'? If you're not okay with this means, I'll never forgive you! She said.

Everything is okay except the icecream part! I'll never allow you to eat ice creams daily. It's not good for health. If it's tender coconut or sugarcane juice, then I'm okay! Kathir said.

What? Hmmm... What about 3 times a week? She asked with a puppy dog eyes.

2 times and no more discussion about this! Kathir said with a finality.

Fine😒! Maya said with a pout.

Fine😒! She again said making face.

Why are you talking like this? What did I do now? Didn't you forgive me already? Now Kathir asked with a pout.

Haa.. The punishment is for that only! If you do that properly then I'll forgive you. But I'm not sad for that. She said.

Then why? He asked perplexed.

He was about to encircle his arms around her when kannamma and I cleared our throat at the same time. They both jerked and saw us with a widened eyes.

For your kind information, I, your akka and your poor machan is also here d little devil! We just asked you both to come here as we want to know and solve the issues between you. Not to see your romance. And who told that we're supporting you both in love? We'll never allow you to marry him!!! Kannamma said seriously in which they looked at us in shock.

After sometime, we both composed ourselves and controlled laughing.

Okay okay! Just for fun! Then what! how dare you try to romance in front of us? And yeah! We're with you but I don't allow you to romance or being cheesy till you complete your studies. And I give that responsibility to Kathir! You're not allowed to flirt or being lovey dovey with her till she graduate as I don't want her to get distracted from studies. Okay? She paused. He nodded.

And yeah! Kavin will talk with both of our families only if you get all clear with more than 90℅ in your final semester. Otherwise, you have to tell everyone including our anna by yourself. What say?  She paused.

No!! I'll get more than 91℅ in semester. Maya said immediately earned a chuckle from me.

So this is it! You're allowed to talk and bicker but not romance! You should be behave like friends for this one year! That's it. Kannamma said with a sigh.

Kanns.. I know what you're thinking and what you mean. Don't worry! I'll never be the cause for her distraction. I'll take care of that. I'll make her study at 5am even in holidays. I know my limits. You don't have to stress. And thank you so much for supporting us. I'll never make you regret your decision of giving this kathrika to me. You can trust me. Kathir said holding Kannamma's hands in his.

I cleared my throat.

Yes doraemon! Me too lov.. Before she could complete, I closed her mouth with my palms. In the mean time, maya punched on his head.

We four looked at each other in silence while pouting and burst into laughter.

Thank god! Kanns became my sister in law and not sister! I can't bear to see kanns as my sister. Kathir said in which he earned a smack from maya.

Enough of our jokes! Come.. I'll make coffee for you all. Kannamma said and we both went to hall. She started preparing coffee. Kathir talked with appa and amma while Maya watched shinchan in tv.

I sneaked into kitchen. She looked hot from back in her yellow with pink color saree. She was busy in making coffee that she didn't notice me.

I hugged her from behind. She was about to scream when I stopped her by placing my hand on her mouth. She looked at me and tried to wiggle from my grip.

What are you doing Kavin! Leave me.. Someone will come.. Everyone is in living room.. Leave me.. She struggled in my grip.

So what? They'll go thinking that husband and wife are romancing in kitchen. Simple. You know your in-laws are very decent. I said placing my chin on her neck while hugging her from behind.

Why are you here? Leave me.. See coffee will become cold. She said again wiggling.

Shhh.. Wild cat! You bite me! It's paining you know! I said while pouting showing her my hand which had her teeth marks now.

Oww! I'm sorry Kavin! Wait let me put some ointment there. She said tried to get rid from my hold.

Something? She asked me confused.

Kiss😉 I said with a wink. She looked at me widening her eyes.

Fine.. Close your eyes then. She said after a pause. She accept this much easily? No! Something wrong!

Anyways I went in front of her and circled my hand around her waist and closed my eyes tightening my grip.

Hmm kiss me.. I demanded expecting a kiss on my cheek.

She took my right hand and took that near her shoulder. May be to place that on her shoulder? I felt something soft on my hand.

I kissed! Now release me! She said. But I didn't felt anything on my cheek or forehead or on my lips too..

I opened my eyes slowly. She kissed my hand?? Oh my god!! Is that even a kiss?

Where? I asked in disbelief.

Here. She pointed towards my hand like a innocent kid.

What? You only said na.. It's hurting there where I bite. So I soothed your pain by kissing there. She explained like a lkg kid.

Haha.. Very soothing. Po(go) di! You and your soothing kiss! I said annoyed. She twisted her lips at me😏.

Now leave me Kavin! Someone will come.. She started again.

Okay okay! I'll leave you if you answer my question! I asked. She nodded unsurely.

We sort out the first matter which we discussed yesterday. I mean dhirya's! What about the second matter? I asked.

What second matter? She asked.

Nivetha's question. I said. She thought for a second and blushed immediately.

But that's not nivetha's question. That's you who asked to tease me ryt? She asked with a shy smile.

So what? Still you have to answer that right.. I said huskily in her ear.

Ada what ma.. Didn't you make coffee til.. Amma came while telling this but cut off seeing us hugging each other.

We both jerked and parted from each other.

That ma.. Ther.. There was a cockroach near that sink.. We tried to catch that.. But it escaped and we collided with each other.

Kannamma.. I'll search that in hall.. You prepare coffee. I'm leaving.. I said and tried to ran from there. Amma caught me.

Ohh!! Seems like the cockroach is really a big one ryt kavin? May I beat that with a stick? Amma teased me.

Do whatever. Now leave me ma.. Kathir is calling me.. Haann machan I'm coming! Saying this, i escaped from there leaving my amma and kannamma who are laughing at me.
