Kavin's POV!

I looked at her. She was about to say something. But no! I'm not going to let her talk. What if she blabber something again like that day? I don't know what her reasons are and why she agreed to marry me now!

But I just don't want her to blabber right now. I guess she needs time to open up to me and I'm going to give her that.

I went near her staring into her eyes. She stopped whatever she's about to say and looked at my eyes. I went forward and she went backward until she gets stumble and laid down on bed.

At that time, I don't know what gotten into me. I looked at her face. She's so beautiful. Perfect!

That cute big eyes, her button nose, chubby cheeks and finally her red strawberry like lips.. She's so temptating..

I leaned more close and her smell that mixed with jasmine smell was so inviting and heavenly. I just want to snuggle into her.

Ka.. Kavin.. She said breathlessly which was almost like a moan.

God! She's testing me now!

She closed her eyes tightly. My body became more hot and my mind didn't think straight. My concentration was fully in her lips wanting to taste that.

I don't love you! Your love is just attraction!

She loves you but She's hiding something!

My mind alarmed me in a ryt moment. Thank god! I didn't do anything stupid which I regret later. I have to know everything before going any intimate with her!

Kavin control yourself!

I leaned sidewards and picked up the pillow and blankets from the bed. She opened her eyes with a confused reaction. I stood up and arranged the pillows and blankets properly for me to sleep.

She looked at me with utter disbelief.  I can't sleep now with this frustration in my body.

God!!! Now I have to take cold shower!

I muttered and groaned deeply. I went to take bath to calm each and every excited nerve of my body.

While bathing, I started thinking about her.

#First- I need to know what the hell her reasons are!

#second- I want to know why she accepted to marry Ram inspite of knowing about his past love!

#third- I want to find that is she willingly married me or just for the sake of her parents.

#fourth- To know the above 3rd point, I have to first find out why she rejected my proposal first.

And Ram and Kathir said she loves me but why she didn't express that! Ram knows the reason too. Then why she's resisting to tell me!

Damn! I'm going insane now!

After taking a long shower, I came outside after wearing vest and lungi. I saw her who's still in her own thoughts. She snapped at me.

I laid down and closed my eyes to get some sleep. But still I could feel her intense stare. It disturbed me from getting sleep. I got up and turned off the lights and again laid down. I sighed.

I opened my eyes irritatedly when again the lights turned on. I saw her undoing her jewels and went to washroom.

May be to change!

She came within 10 mins and slept after turning off the lights. I'm in no mood to sleep. Yet the exhaustion made me to relax and sleep.

I woke up at quarter to 7. I'm a morning person. Usually, I woke up before six. But today is the first day I slept without any stress after a month. So I slept little long.

I looke at kannamma who's sleeping like a baby. I sighed and started admiring her sleepy face.

She's so cute and beautiful even while sleeping. Her face screamed innocence. I gawked her for almost 15 mins. I came out of my dreamland with beep sound on my watch saying its past 7.

I decided to wake her up. So I called her. She called me sweet teddy and darling. One second, I was stilled by her words. I almost whisper stammered the next words.

But she destroyed my whole dreamy castle with a single word 'Maya'. So she thought I was Maya! So the words teddy and darling are supposed to be for Maya! Great! And here I'm dreaming her that she called me like that!

I was disappointed and said that I'm Kavin. She jerked and woke up immediately. And guess what her words! 'What are you doing here?'

I widened my eyes as she had amnesia or something! Then she blushed. What she's thinking? Is she kidding me?

Then she said that she told in sleepy mode. I sighed with disbelief.

Like seriously? Who the hell will forget that they're married in sleep?😒

Then she brushed her teeth and walked towards the door. God! This girl is seriously crazy! What everyone will think if she walked there just like that in her night dress!

I have to stop her but I'm not going to talk with her! So I took my mobile and pretending calling someone. But my hands accidentally tapped on Kathir number which is on top of my dialled history. Before I could cut the call, he attended it. So I started talking to kannamma ignoring him on the call.

Where are you going? I asked ignoring Kathir's sleepy hello. Kannamma stopped and turned with a  expectation in her face.

Where else I'll go in this early morning? To bathroom only! Why are you calling this much early! He answered with a yawn. But I didn't concentrate on him now.

Are you going there without taking bath? I asked her. She looked at me confused.

What? Why I have to bath before going to bathroom? Kavin are you sleep talking to me or what? Kathir asked little annoyed.

God! Don't you know no one in this world go outside without taking bath that too after their wedding night! Or do you want everyone should stare at you like you're from another planet? I said looking at her.

She widened her eyes as she realised what I said and literally ran to washroom muttering  a small sorry.

Kavin!!!! What the hell are you talking man! Yesterday is your wedding night and not mine! Did you hit your head somewhere or what? God!! He yelled in utter annoyance.

Dei dei.. Wait! I'll explain later! Bye.. You can continue where you're going! With this, I hung up didn't giving him a chance to speak. I sighed. That's when I got a another call which is from my client. I talked with him about my ideas on building his restaurant.

While talking, I turned when I heard a door clicking sound. I saw kannamma coming from washroom in a chudithar. I frowned. I mean, why didn't she wear saree. She looks more beautiful in it. It's not like she's less beautiful in other dress though.

And today is the first day after our wedding. So I just want to look her in saree. Nothing more! I can't tell her directly as I want her to talk with me first. So I tagged her in a post in insta.

She checked and smiled. She took saree and went outside. May be to get help draping it. I already noticed her struggling with her saree in ilakyas wedding and engagement functions. So I'm pretty sure she's not good in draping it.

I went to washroom to take bath. I came after about 20 mins. There she is! She's struggling in arranging the fleets properly. She snapped at me and stared me.

I looked at her from top to toe and again toe to top but stopped at middle when my eyes fall on her creamy waist which is exposed little. I felt parched. I gulped not able to take my eyes off from her inspite of the gentleman kavin inside me screamed to avert my gaze.

She turned immediately blushing and again tried to arrange it but groaned frustrated. I chuckled and went near her. I arranged the fleets properly looking exactly at saree and nowhere else. I stood up and saw everywhere but her and so did she.

Then she handed me the coffee and I drank it. She started wearing ear rings and bangles and all. Seriously, seeing her in saree, bangles, the yellow color mangalyam which tied by me was truly like a dream.. Bliss! But only one is missing! Vermillion on her forehead.

She stood up and went to door. I stopped her by clearing my throat. I gestured her to put vermilion but she didn't get me. So I pulled her and put that by myself. She closed her eyes. I smiled when she open her eyes and so did she.

Then after that, I heard kathir voice near door. So I went there to check on him. I annoyed him in this morning. Surely he came to ask me what the hell happened to me. I chuckled and reached the entrance.

And guess what! He's literally flirting with MY WIFE! He even tried to pull her cheeks which is my long time wish yet I didn't fulfill it! And here how dare he?

I cleared my throat and asked what he's doing hoping that he'll come with me. But he said he want to pull her cheeks in front of me and he even asked her permission. I literally dragged him inside.

He frowned. I causally sat on the bed.

Dei Kavin! Why dragged me here? I would have pulled her cheeks naa... He whined.

As if I'm going to let you!😒

No! You are not allowed to do that! I said sternly.

As if I'm going to obey you! She's my friend so I have every rights😏 he said twisting his lips.

So what! I'm her husband and she's my wife. So I have every right to order you! I shrugged.

Yes exactly! She is wife and not me. So I don't have to obey your orders and even if I'm your wife also. I'll never obey your orders okay? He said.

Haan yes yes.. You'll only obey your dog manager's orders right? I said. He sighed annoyingly.

Please don't remind him da! Wait.. What the hell happened to you in morning? Why you talked like the one who escaped from mental asylum? He asked me. I smiled sheepishly.

I accidentally called you while talking to her🙈 I said shyly.

God! Yuck🤢! Just stop blushing before I puke okay? Whatever! I'm now relieved after hearing kanns idea for my dog manager prob! He said. I twisted my lips😒.

What did he do now? And what idea did kanns gave you? I asked curiously.

He's asking me to come to office today! I tried lying that I'm ill but he never listened instead he said he want to divert me from the marriage incident which never happened so that I'll be distracted if I work more! And he says that if I spent time in home with illness means, it'll get worse as I'll think about everything and stress! He said. I laughed at him😂.

Machan! Do one thing! Just marry your manager! He's perfect for you! See how he concerns about you and you obeying him like a obedient typical old indian wife!😂 I said inbetween my laughs. He glared me.

His manager is such a good man though. He took his lie that kannamma ran from the wedding seriously and keep on distracting him by work without giving him a chance to think about anything.

So what was the idea she gave? I asked curiously. He grinned and dialed his manager and put on speaker.

Hello sir! Kathir sounds so low like he just return from a funeral.

Hello pa! Why are you sound so low? Are you okay? He asked concerned.

Sir! That.. No.. I'm really not okay sir! Kathir said.

Why pa? What happened? He asked.

Sir! Kan... Kannamma.. She's married sir!😢😢 kathir said in a breaking voice.. Fake breaking voice.

Oh my goodness! Isn't she the one who's supposed to marry you? He said with disbelief. Kathir nodded. I hitted his head indicating that his manager can't see his nod.

Ye.. Yes sir. He said.

Oh no! So where are you now? He asked.

In her room! He said. I hitted his head again.

What!!???? His manager asked shocked.

I mean in her home sir. I went to my friend Kavin marriage yesterday but I was shocked to the core when I see kannamma as bride. So I came to her home to talk with her as we have more probabilities to meet often and I don't want that to be awkward. So only sir! He said lowly.

Oh god! Kathir! I'm so proud of you pa. You took good decision only. Go on and be friends with her. You don't have to come office today and tomorrow. Take rest pa. Bye! And send my congrats to your friend. He said.

Kathir hung up after saying bye. He sighed. I started laughing at him which I suppressed the whole time. He glared me but soon joined with me.

So machan! Did she said anything? About her love or reasons? He asked seriously.

No da. I didn't let her talk! I said.

What?? Why da? Are you mad? He asked me.

No da. I decided to give her some time to open up with me and partly I'm afraid to hear more hurtful words from her. I shrugged. He nodded understandingly with a sigh.

Come! Let's see what all are doing! I said. He nodded and we came to hall where everyone is talking.

I heard that ammu and ram are coming here along with amma and appa too. Mama and aththa went to buy groceries and meat. Mughil machan went to call someone.

At that time, ilakya asked that I hided something from her. Kannamma immediately stood and tried to escape saying that she's going to talk with surya!

But the information I got from Maya made my blood boil! Seriously? Hottie? She gave him this name!!!! What the hell!

She didn't even mentioned me handsome before!😒

She left as soon as I asked her what! I was about to catch her but stucked when ilakya pulled me and made me sat.

Where do you think you're escaping from me brother? She asked.

What are you saying ilaks! I can't get you! I said not knowing what she's trying to say.

So you're not going to tell me that you love kannamma even after marrying her! Great! She said with a pout. I widened my eyes. How she knows!

I glared at Kathir but he also sat with the same expression as me. That's when I saw a naughty grin on Maya's face. So maya.. Wait, kannamma escaped.. So is it she? No they both are!!!!

Don't overthink brother! Kannamma, ammu and maya told me. Are you clear now? She said.

Ilaks.. That.. I.. I didn't mean to hide it from you but I thought to tell you after she agrees. But she.. She rejected.. So.. I said with difficulty as that day flashed in my mind.

Okay okay! Calm down brother. I forgive you but on one condition! She said rubbing my shoulder soothingly.

What? I asked curiously.

You have to promise me that you'll never leave my anni no matter what! I mean if she done any mistake or anything. You're not going to leave her! Okay? She asked me. However the look and her words are quite suspicious. I decided to shrug it off and smiled with a nod.

I promise! I'll never leave her! I said honestly and she smiled.

What's happening here? Hi machan! Mughil machan asked us with a smile

Nothing! Just talking.. Isn't it anna? Ilaks said awkwardly trying to divert the topic. So mughil didn't know anything! Thank god!

Yes! Give me a minute! Saying this, I went to check on her what she's doing in terrace.

I saw her having video call with Surya! I frowned! Seriously, why can't she just call and tell him!?😒

That too adding fuel to my jealous, he said that he'll miss her and she said she can't survive without seeing them all.

I cleared my throat to show my presence. She saw me shocked. Surya enquired who's here. And I snaked my arm around her possesively and introduced myself as her husband. She stiffened at my act and words.

That's when Jo came from kitchen and her expression after seeing me was worth to watch. I smiled realising she's talking with Jo and surya not surya alone. I chuckled at my stupid jealous.

She struggled to answer Jo with my arms around her so I freed her and finally we hung up after asking them to join us. I tried to escape from there before she questions me but she stopped me. I turned and she asked am I going downstairs. I said yes and she nodded. I left.

Did she try to say something?

I shrug off my thought and went downstairs. Soon mama and aththa came from shop. Ammu, Ram, amma, appa, sanju, Chiththi and Chiththapa, jo and surya with diya everyone came.

The whole house is filled with elders laughters and discussion. Couples romance and whispering sounds and teasings, women's gossips, baby's babbling sounds and ofcourse dhirya's bickerings

We all prepared briyani together by sharing works at terrace in a big vessel. First appa, mama, Surya, Jo, Chiththappa, Chiththi, mughil and Maya had their lunch. Then rest of us had later.

After lunch, we all settled in hall. Sanju and diya slept.

Where is thatha and paati? Maya asked.

They went to Rameshwaram as the marriage happened with lot of twists and turns. So they're worried and went for a devotional tour. Even Kavin's thatha and paati also went along. Aththa said. She nodded.

I want to tell something! Amma said.

Yes ma! What it is? Mama asked.

Wedding was happened unplanned. So no one in our relatives know about Kavin or pooja are married to different persons not each other. So what I'm saying is why can't we arrange a reception? For both of them? Amma said expectantly.

Sure! That's a great idea. Even I'm also thinking the same. Chiththappa said. Everyone nodded in agreement.

So when and where we are going to held it? Appa asked eagerly.

Uhmm not so long. We have to held it as soon as possible! How about in a week? This sunday? Mughil machan asked.

Yes you're right! So I'll look for wedding hall available in that day! Mama said.

No need uncle. Jo's father owns a wedding hall. We'll held their reception there. What say? Surya said.

Why pa? You don't have to take stress. You're our guest! We don't want to trouble you! Aththa said.

What? So you didn't consider us as family member? See surya, they're saying that we're outsiders so we're not allowed to interfere in their family issue. Jo said with a pout and sad face.

No! Not like that dear. But.. Amma was cut off by surya.

No buts and ifs! I'll talk with my father and confirm. We'll take the full responsibility for hall and food! No need to worry! That's it. No more discussion on this! Jo said in finality.

Okay okay! Cool da! So what's the rent? Appa asked. Jo frowned.

Am I looking like a money lender? No rent for hall. We'll handle it. That's it! Jo said.

No that's not fair Jo! We're not going to held in your hall if you didn't accept our rent! Aththa said.

Fine! You can pay for food but not hall! Full stop. End of discussion! Jo said in finality.

No Jo! Still we can't accept it! Chiththi said.

Why? I'm considering Kannamma as my sister and you both as my parents and relatives! But you all just consider me as a outsider. Isn't it? As a sister, am I not allowed to help even in this? Jo said emotionally.

Yes, Surya once told me that she's a single child and she didn't have any relatives as both her parents are orphans and her inlaws are single child. So they built the new home for them as they're going to adopt 4 children from orphanage as their current home is a rented and a small one.

Elders looks at each other helplessly and nodded with a smile.

Yay!!! So reception in just one week! Oh my god! There are so many things to shop! Maya yelled in excitement.

Then after that, we had coffee and snacks. Others are got ready to leave but kannamma and maya pleaded everyone to stay here.

But there's no space for everyone to sleep.. Amma reasoned.

Yeah we know! But we can sleep in terrace! That'd be fun! In childhood, we're all sleep in terrace as appa tells bed time stories to us! So if we all be together means, it'll be so much fun! Please! Please ma.. Maya whined.

But what if they're not comfortable here Maya! Aththa asked.

No probs! That's sounds like a great plan! We're not uncomfortable! Atleast, after a long time I'm going to stay with a big family! That's more than enough. Can we? Jo chirped.

But diya? Will she be comfortable? Kannamma asked.

Of course! She got a sister here right? So she'll be more happy than us! Surya said smiling.

Soon, everyone agreed! Ammu is the first one agreed enthusiastically!

Today's night gonna be a long one!😋🤩🤩
