Kavin's POV!

I saw her coming to terrace for breakfast. We all sat in a row and the catering service started serving us. I could see something is off in her face.

That's when I noticed the catering boys commented about her body weight. I felt my blood boiling at their words. Immediately I stood up and asked them to give me the utensil controlling my anger.

They just did what I said and went seeing my furious eyes. I'm the one of the person who can't hide any emotion on my face. One can find about my mood easily by looking at my face itself.

I went to Kathir giving her some time to feel relaxed as she is disturbed by their acts. Then slowly I went to her and put some idlies in her leaf. She resisted but I insisted her to eat that forcefully.

Being chubby is not a sin ryt!? But Body shaming is!! We can't judge someone by appearance. Appearance can be deceptive!

Everyone has heart, soul, emotions.. everything.. just like one another. We should respect their internal appearance than external.

After that, she ate comfortably which I felt too happy! Then me and maya asked them to spill the beans when right time comes. They both nodded with a caught look.

Then, we went down stairs and the function went good. Mughil was awestruck at my sister and she blushed profusely which is very unlike of her.

During that, me and Kathir took snaps! Kannamma and Maya just held a comedy show by posing weird couple poses. I and Kathir was literally laughed at them. They glared us. We tried to control by palming our face but all in vain. They looks too cute and funny doing so😂.

While taking pics of our family. Maya dragged me and asked kannamma to took our snap too. She just give a blank expression and did what she said.

But that Kathir idiot dragged her that too winking at her asking me to took their snap. I just felt uncomfortable and restless seeing them together. But Maya came as my reliever and stood besides her showing naughty face to Kathir. I mentally appreciated Maya 😝.

After everything, I went to Kathir and told him shall we go to garden to have a talk. He understood why I'm asking him like that and nodded without choice. We gestured them to follow us. They too came.

Maya ordered them to tell whatever happened. Usually, I'm not interest in these kind of things. Like Kathir's friendships and other relationships because that's his privacy ryt!?. But in this case, I just can't! Don't ask me why!

May be because of curiousity 🙄!?

Nowadays, my mind and heart just betraying me by thinking about her and mocking me for her! She is just messing up with my mind and heart!!

Ok coming to the point, they said one story but their faces told another story. I can't believe them. Because they both didn't see our eyes while telling that. May be she is avoiding looking at me because of our weird eyelocks but why she didn't looked at Maya and about Kathir, he too didn't look into our eyes.

While enquiring them, my mobile started ringing. I saw the caller id.

'AMMU'

I just smiled. I sent her today's pics just before now. I guess she saw that and now calling me. Kathir questioned me why I smiling ear to ear. I told that's Pooja. He too became excited.

Then I excused myself from them to talk with her. As soon as I attend the call, she yelled in excitement. I took my mobile little far from my ears because of her loud speaker voice.

Dei kutty paiyaa(little boy)!!! How are you!?

She yelled in excitement.

Shut up you devil! Don't call me like that! I'm not a little boy!

As usual I warned her. It's her habit to annoy me whenever she is happy or excited by calling weird names. She'll call me anything she wants or whatever comes in her mind at the time.

Such a brain melter!!🤦‍♂️

She said excitedly. I smiled.

I said proudly. She chuckled.

Dream like that🤭! So tell me about Mughil Anna's family. Who are they in the pics!? She asked curiously.

Hmm yeah.. Let me tell you one by one okay? Yes! The one in dhoti shirt other than appa is Maaran uncle, Mughil's appa. And the one in chocolate brown silk saree is Ezhil auntie, Mughil's mom. And the one in white with red color chudi is Maya, Mughil's little sister. She is such a vaalu (naughty) you know. I liked her in our first meet. I told you ryt?! And then the one in skyblue color chudi is.. Kannamma, Mughil's first little sister.

I introduced everyone to her.

Super da! I too like them all. They all looks cute together. Moreover, I'm eager to see them!!

She exclaimed.

Ok d! I'll call you later after they departed! Bye d!

We hung up the call and I returned to there where we were few minutes ago.

My blood boiled seeing the scene before me. She held him and he placed his arm around her shoulder. What the hell is happening here!??

I asked them masking my emotions as possible as I could. Maya and Kathir both complained each other. But the word maya called me vanished all my anger. I reminded that Kannamma too have to call me like that. But I know she don't!

I slowly walked near them and took his hand in mine. I saw her with the corner of my eyes. She too did the same.

After that everyone left from our house. My dad called the cook and catering services to pay them. They came to hall. My dad went inside to take money for them. I went near them.

Brother! I want to talk to you all. I said to them. They saw each other and nodded.

You are doing a wonderful job by serving food to all. It is one of the greatest jobs in this world. But please try to do with your heart! Everyone has not only appetite but also self respect. Try to respect everyone before serving them food. You can't take your words back. Remember that brother. Anyways, forgive me if I talked too much out of my limits! I said. They saw me with guilty eyes.

No brother! You are damn right! We are really sorry for our behaviour! This will never happen again. Thanks for making us realise our mistakes! They said with guilt. I just nodded with a smile.

Then my dad came and paid them. They left. I went to see my cute demon sister in her room. She was looking at her mobile with dreamy smile. I know what she is looking at.

I slowly went behind her. She is still in her Dreamland. I whispered in her ear Pesama naalaike kalyanam vachrukalam la.. Yen one and half months theva illama nadula gap uh!?

(Shouldn't we held your wedding tomorrow itself.. Why there is long one and half months gap in between?!)

She nodded absentminded. I chuckled and screwed her ears. She screamed in pain.

Maapilla paakumbothu lam 'na kolantha.. Na kolantha' nu sollitu.. Ipo nalaike kalyanam vaikanumaa!? Thiruttu naaye!!

(You are telling that 'I'm still child.. I'm still child' whenever we are talking about your marriage.. Now you want your wedding tomorrow isn't it!? Thefty dog!!)

I said. She pouted.

Over ah kalaikatha da.. Enakum neram varum! Apo paathukren unna. Hmmkmm😏.

She said twisting her lips. Suddenly my dad called us from downstairs. We both went. He told that Maaran uncle called and told that we are going to wedding shopping day after tomorrow.

We both agreed and went to our rooms to sleep. That's when I remembered about the group MUGHILAKYA.

Why not I add ammu to that group!? It will be good that they too will become close soon ryt??

I added her number and texted them about her. Soon everyone texted including her. Pooja was super happy chatting with them. She even texted me in pc that how happy she is.

Because she didn't had a proper family in her childhood. My aunt died in an accident when she is 10 years old and my uncle's family separated her from him and did a second marriage for him. She grown up with us only. Her house just besides mine. After aunt's death. My mom and dad asked my grandpa to make her live with us. But being old rubbish fashioned, my grandpa denied saying someone will gossip bad if we kept her with us. Because the only reason is she is my cousin not my sister.

My mom and dad didn't give a bit to it but my grandpa. He took her from us after school and sent her abroad. She faced so much in her childhood itself. So only she is very special to me. I'll never do anything which hurts her. I'll be her support always and forever.

The shopping day came as fast as we expected. We went there straight. There we saw them standing at the entrance of the shop. We all went near them.

Something inside my heart awakened by seeing her. And this is not happening for the first time though!

I just stole some secret glances without anyone's notice. But I guess she noticed by her secret glances.

The selection of women's dresses is the most difficult task in the universe. Because they too don't know what they actually want!

But in today's case, I guess Mughil was born as a girl in his previous birth. He rejected everything what ever selected by anyone. He was searching and rejecting until he himself selected one. But I should say he is good at choosing. His selection was damn good.

Then after that, their dress selections goes on and on.. At last they even argued what they should wear in their wedding reception. I and Kathir was in the edge of our patience.

We just escaped from there to men's section. That's when I spotted at the mirror holding two sarees. She too saw me through that mirror.

I saw both the sarees. I can see the confusion in her face of what saree she should select. One is red with orange and other is pink and violet.

Among them, red with orange looks good in her. It was perfect for her skin tone too. I just saw that saree and saw her and then at saree. I hope she understood. She just went from there with a blushy smile in her face.

Aww! I want to pull her cheeks 😍!

Suddenly this weird idea came into my mind. I just shrugged it off mentally tapping my forehead. But I was eager to see her in saree. She'll be indeed gorgeous ryt!?

Kavin! You should know how to control your mind!

Kathir tapped my shoulder making me to come out of my thoughts. We went to men section and started selecting our dresses. I spotted one orange color shirt which will be matching for that saree which she hold. I don't know whether she bought that or not. But my adamant mind made me to bought that shirt.

Then we selected dresses for Kathir too. After selecting everything. We paid the bill and went to jewellery shop to buy their engagement rings.

We all went upstairs. Suddenly I felt someone is missing in our group. I searched her. She is no where to be found. My heart said something is not right.

Others was too busy with the shopping. So I went down stairs without anyone's notice.

I saw her at the entrance in a vulnerable state. Her face looked pale and with atmost fear. My heartbeat raised seeing her like that.

I ran towards her and stood in front of her. She saw me but didn't react. Her eyes wandered behind me somewhere. I turned my head and searched what she is looking at with this much fear.

Kannamma... Kannamma... I called her. But she didn't respond. Her eyes still wandering everywhere with fear but me.

Kannamma.. What happened!?.. See here! I shook her shoulders. She jerked suddenly and shrugged off my hands from her shoulder vigorously. This attracted some people's attention.

Kannamma... I'm Kavin.. Why are you acting like this!? Calm down!! I said lowly because some people were looking at us like I was eveteasing her.

She saw my face keenly and looked everywhere and then at me. Her eyes filled with tears. She sighed with a relief. It was like she is holding her breath for long time.

She held my wrist and dragged me outside of the shop hurriedly.

Ka.. Kavin.. That.. I was suffocated there because of the crowd. That's why... I act like that absentmindedly. Sor-Sorry..

She said with low voice more like a whispher. I know she is lying. Something is bothering her.

Cool! Can we go to that juice shop? You'll be feel good after drinking the juice. What's say? I asked her. She just nodded with a sigh. But still her eyes is searching something.

Then we both went to the juice shop which is next to the jewellery shop. She was silent still not daring to talk neither me. I don't know how to start the conversation.

Uhm.. Kannamma... What happened to you? Is someone did something to you!? I mean.. You are searching someone since we were in that shop with atmost fear. And till now you are acting like that! Tell me. I'll help you if I can!

I asked her slowly but she is still so quiet and didn't look my face. After a long pause, she replied with a nervous chuckle

What! No.. I'm not searching anyone. I just felt suffocated there. From where you got this silly question!? She said nervously. But I'm damn sure she is lying!

Someone tapped her shoulder from her behind. She turned. That is one girl who looks extremely lean and fair with medium height. She wore jean with tight sleeveless short top. She was perfect with her makeup. Not too much or less.

Kannamma face frowned seeing her. But she managed to give her a fake smile.

Hi kannu! How are you!? Long time no see! What are you doing here? And who is he?? Your boyfriend!? But he's looking extremely handsome for you! Tell me.. Is he your friend!? Then give me a intro!😉   Hi dude! I'm Meghna! I'm Kannamma's UG college mate! Nice to meet you!

She started blabbering without giving a chance to kannamma. She forwarded her hand at the end of her paragraph. I saw Kannamma's face. Her face was blank. I just shook that girl's hand.

Just give me a minute hero! I'll be right back after buying my juice! She said with a wink and went to counter.

Kannamma glared me. I saw confused with a raised brow.

I'm leaving! She said bluntly.

Uh!? Then I'm too coming! I said with a confused face.

Why!? You can flirt with her as much as you want! I'm not going to be a bump in your talks! She said with a blank expression.

What!?? Flirting!! Me?? First of all, I don't even know who is she!? I just shook her hand thinking that she may be your friend! That's it. I said. She sighed.

First of all, she is not my friend but more like a bully! She bullied me in my college because of my.. My.. Bo-body weight! And she even snatched my friends in boys thinking that I seducing them because I can't get any boyfriends with my appearance! She said with much difficulty which the latter part came as a whisper.

Her eyes welled up while saying this and lowered her head. I stood up from my seat and that's when that girl came again with a flirty smile in her face.

Hey handsome! Where are you going? She asked me.

Sorry Ms.Meghna! Me and my girlfriend Kannamma is here for shopping! We have so much to shop. So see you soon! Bye! I said while placing my arm around her shoulder. She saw me with widened eyes and O mouth. She was perfectly fit in my arm. It was like my arm is like this just to hold her.

And I should mention that girl's face is worth watching.

What! Kannamma.. Is he your boyfriend? She asked disbelievingly.

Uhmm.. No.. We are more than that! Isn't it darling? 😉 I asked her with a wink. And dragged her outside.

Even my heart was beating fastly like it was running in a marathon. I don't know where that gut of mine came from to talk like that. When we were fully came out of that shop. I slowly took my hand from her and made a distance.

That.. Kannamma.. I'm.. I'm really.. So.. I stammered. She cut me off in middle.

Thank you! For escaping me from her sarcastic and taunting words. And don't do like this again please. Because playing things will leads to serious and will also be hazardous sometimes. I'll forget and you too. We'll pretend like nothing happened. Okay!?

She asked. However everything she said is true. My heart says something opposite to her words.

'I'm not playing and trust me, I was never being this much serious ever. And I'll never forget this and hope you too. And you are right I play wishing only to make this serious!'

I just nodded which I don't know whether for her words or my heart's words. She too nodded.

Our both mobiles rings at the same time. Kathir is calling me. I told her kathir and she told me that's maya.

I attended the call. He barked at me to come to the shop. I quickly said ok and hung up. And I saw she too hung up her mobile.

What happened? I asked her.

Maya is barking at me to come to the shop. I chuckled and said kathir too. She too chuckled.

We both headed to the shop. They all saw us curiously.

Where you both went? Kathir asked us.

Nowhere da. She went outside for fresh air. I spotted her standing alone. And she told that she is suffocated because of the crowd. So we went to the juice shop which is just next to this. I said calmly.

In which they all smiled and nodded.

We selected two set of rings! Come and select one both of you! My amma said.

We went and saw the rings. They both were beautiful but one is simple and elegant and other one is little bit heavy designed.

We both pointed at the simple one at the same time. Everyone chuckled seeing us. We both let out a nervous laugh.

Then we went to restaurant for lunch after some other shoppings.

After that, we all went to our home. I went to sleep thinking the day's happenings and my heart's weird answers for my unanswered questions.

I don't know the exact name for my feelings towards her. I still couldn't able to figure out that.

She really doing something to me. I never thought I introduced someone I barely talked with as my girlfriend to some stranger. I never thought I felt jealous over my best friend for being a friend with a girl. I never thought I felt empathy for someone who I known for a short time. I never thought that I was thinking about a girl and blabbering like a drunkard sacrificing my sleep like this.

Am I falling for her!?
