Brown eyes seamlessly followed the fluffy white paw that held a pen, scribbling down signatures and dates on a thin stack of paper full of documents. The barely audible swoosh of the pen and flip as the hybrid of three animals turned to a next page was the only thing that could be heard in the decent-sized room other than the light buzzing of the air conditioner.

Toes fiddled with each other inside the soft socks and school shoes as the teenage girl standing in front of the school's principal's table silently and patiently waited for him to be done. All she could do in that moment was divert her eyes to the documents to the window across to gazing at the designs and furniture of the room before repeating; she had been doing that for the past fifteen minutes or so. If it wasn't for the fact that she was used to standing in one place for long periods of time barely moving, she was sure she would have lost balance more than three times by now.

'Boring...'

She merely rolled her eyes at the gruff male voice that suddenly echoed in her head- though she wasn't surprised; this was a naturally occuring thing ever since she was the tender age of 11. She could practically see the little curse nested in the deepest darkest parts within her having his chin on the palms of his hands with a little pout on his lips. It was entertaining to be honest; a very dangerous being acting like a child.

Ryomen Sukuna, as many knew him as the indisputable King of Curses... but to the teenage girl, he was nothing but a spirit that had to rely on her and her brother to physically exist. Added to that, he never really managed to gain full control of either of them(there was that one incident back then in Shibuya but we don't talk about that)- much less with her.

He was a menace on some occassions- especially when it came to her older brother or having to throw a 'tantrum' just to get what he wants out of her.

A menace child, as she liked to call him.

'You're so impatient.'

"Here's all your documents,"

The teen's eyes immediately snapped to make contact with the beady eyes of the school principal, a warm, seemingly permanent smile adorning his fluffy features as he slid the thin stack of papers to the opposite side of his table, watching as the special student picked it up and skimmed through it's contents.

"There were some... complications that happened this past week so I do apologize for the late signing. I sent an excuse letter written and signed by myself to your assigned class to notify Eraserhead of your late attendance, so you don't have to worry about that."

The student looks back up once more, a charismatic, innocent smile that turned her eyes into crescents as a silent 'thanks' and 'no worries'. "The USJ incident, yes, i've heard."

She stringed out a quick hum, skimming and organizing her documents one last time before finally settling it in her bag. "I do also have to apologize for my late attentance and missing the first week of school." She showed a strained smile, "Overseas business isn't really something light to work with."

Nezu, the animal-mutant principal, also showed a smile back- albeit more reassuring. "Understandable... you do also have your responsibilities as a sorcerer, after all. Though I do hope it won't get in the way of your studies as much."

"I can assure you it won't."

Nezu nodded his head surely then, trusting the girl's words. "Alright."

He moved to cap his pen before putting it back in it's holder along with the other writing materials in his possession- in a cup-like wooden furniture situated at the right of his table.

The student could only continue to stand there in place, this time her eyes on the silver rings that hugged every single one of her digits, each one with a little window that showed the blue- almost purple- energy swirling within. She could still remember the first time when her grandfather gave them to her along with his strict instruction to never take them off. It always made her wonder how those little things never ended up suffocating the life out of her fingers even after all these years.

Nezu finally looked back up, smile ever so still present as he pulled out a set of teacups out of nowhere(he wasn't a magician).

"Well, unless if there's anything else you would like to discuss, you may go to your class now." He calmly said, pouring himself a cup of the steaming beverage- the sweet aroma of black tea ever so prominent. "I'm sure Eraserhead is waiting for an Itadori Yu-"

"Yuju."

He looks up to meet the boaring eyes of the student- Yuju as she called herself.

"Itadori Yuju." She repeated with a little nod of her head, a stretched smile making it's way up her lips. "I'd really appreciate it if everyone addresses me that way- if they decide to say my given name."

Her request was a little odd- that, Nezu could agree. He could only stare back at her with that questioning look behind his beady eyes.

He hummed, the room going silent for a quick second before he finally asked, "Any reason why?"

Yuju stood still for a moment, neither breaking eye contact nor wiping off the stretched (seemingly forced) smile on her face. She just stood there, silently listening to the clinking of metal spoon on porcelain cup as she resisted the urge to forcibly quiet the annoying snort of the curse in her head.

'Sus'

'Shut up or I will cut your tongue off'

'Try me bitch!'

She was tempted to slam her head on the surface of the table right then and there, despite knowing full well it was only going to physically hurt her and not Sukuna.

"Just..." she chewed on the inside of her cheeks, a slight grimance barely making it's way up her still smiling face; "..doesn't necessarily bring good memories... i'd like to keep personal information under wraps."

Nezu seemed to want to pry for more answers, but after noticing the burning stare Yuju was giving him, he decided to just keep his mouth shut... for now at least. Either way, the longer her stay in UA, answers would naturally come out on their own whether it's voluntarily or not.

"Alright." Done stirring his tea, he finally lifted the cup up to his lips to take his long awaited sip- at least not before he finally excused Yuju and allowed her to actually start walking to class.

Yuju's smile immediately became a bit more genuine, eyes shining with silent thanks as she gave a quick bow before starting to walk to the door and stepping into the empty hallway of UA high: her second but 'official' high school.

Her 'middle school' was principally spent in Jujutsu Tech against her free will- practically forced to enroll there a year after her older brother, Yuji, got in himself. It was mostly due to the reason of her being Ryomen Sukuna's second vessel, and if she didn't learn how to control such immense power as soon as possible, she would have, quite literally, been a mindless slave to the King of Curses; would've had her soul lost within herself and left to aimlessly wander in a void.

How she became Sukuna's vessel in the first place? You don't want to know.

Yuju wouldn't openly admit, but Jujutsu Tech did give her some answers on the power she secretly holds- even if it was just a little. So far though, all she currently knows is that it's special; that it's not like any other 'quirk' or cursed energy out there. Sukuna himself refuses give her answers and has continuously given the excuse of "you'll figure it out on your own" which she almost always replies with rolling her eyes.

Questions left unanswered has always been annoying.

Finally out of any sight, Yuju's smile immediately dropped and disappeared like it was never there in the first place; the expression on her face was quickly replaced with an apathetic look. That was probably why the rude comment of Sukuna after that made sense;

"Two-faced"

A mouth appeared on Yuju's right cheek, along with the slit, that has been closed for most of the time, opening to reveal a crimson eye- Sukuna's eye. "You're such a fake, d'you know that?"

Yuju remained nothing but quiet, trying to distract herself from the annoying voice of the curse with the clacks the heels of her shoes would make on the tiled floor underneath- the sound, she noticed, bounced off of the walls and windows.

"A liar."

If UA's main building looked gigantic from the outside, it was an understatement that the inside was just as impressively large- mainly for the sole purpose to have people of all kinds and sizes be able to get around without much hastle, but still impressive nontheless. Added to that, the place seemed like a maze with all the different hallways and stairs connecting to each other.

"Hey."

It was a good thing that class 1-A was only two floors higher from the principal's office.

"HEY!"

1-A... she really had to be added to the nicknamed 'unlucky' class in UA. She just wanted to blend in and not stand out like a sore thumb was what she first planned to do when enrolling into that school. Obviously that wasn't going smoothly, and she hasn't even attended a single class yet.

"GIVE ME ATTENTION!"

She wasn't really sure whether to be glad about the delayed flight back to Japan from the UK last night or not-

"OI!"

"LITERALLY WHO pissed on your shrine today?!"

Yuju finally awknoledged the curse's existence, stomping her foot as she abruptly paused in place, a scowl present on her face as she resisted the urge to stick two fingers down the mouth on her cheek in that moment to shut him up.

Sukuna was, and always has been, stretching her patience any chance he got to see how long she can last ignoring her surroundings. And from what he had gathered throughout the entire 5 years they've been stuck together, not very long.

For an apathetic person, Yuju sure has a short temper.

With the lack of response, Yuju nearly popped a nerve in her head simply from how annoyed she was in that moment. "What? Did you piss yourself in your sleep or something?"

"HA?!"

Sukuna finally responded, mostly due to the offense he felt from having his vessel accuse him of such things.

"I NEITHER PISS NOR SLEEP!"

Yuju recoiled from that, disgusted. "I did not need to know the piss part."

Sukuna simply rolled his eye with a scoff; "You clearly did." The absolute sass of this creature..

Bickering was... a natural occurence with the two- hence the reason why Yuju called the curse a menace child; he clearly acts like one on some occassions.

Sukuna rolled on the watery floor in his domain to lay on his stomach, watching from his vessel's perspective as she walked up the last flight of stairs to her destination.

He didn't particularly know why, but watching Yuju's point of view in whatever's happening in her life just seems more interesting than watching Yuji's- but then again it might just be because he's biased. For reasons unknown to anyone but the curse himself, he favors the younger one of the Itadori siblings more.

Yuju was... how do you put it..... different from other people- and it wasn't just because she was a jujutsu sorcerer or Sukuna's vessel; there was just something about herself that made her 'odd'.

"Hey," Sukuna called out, tone suddenly far from the teasing one he had prior; it was now replaced with seriousness.

"Mm"

Sukuna, for a few moments, remained silent.

"I know i'm a bad guy and all that shit... but you're a completely different breed, y'know that?"

Yuju huffed with a smirk at his words the same time she finally reached and stood in front of the giant doors of class 1-A; beyond that are strangers she would eventually get accustomed to.

Without hesitation, she knocked on the door.

"Damn... no inhale-exhale to get rid of your nerves or something?"

"I'm perfectly composed, thanks for your irrelevant existence."

After hearing a faint 'come in' from the other side, Sukuna rolled his single eye and whispered out a "bitch" before retreating back to his vessel's mind.

Yuju slid the door open with ease. Immediately, all eyes were on her- which also immediately irked her. She's never been good with crowds or 'public activities' as she called socialization.

She walked over to the front of the class beside a what she first thought was an alt mummy before quickly realizing this man is her poor teacher. Her supposed classmates are all unique in their own way as she had expected: one was pink and one was a humanized bird to name a few.

"Go on," the wrapped up man said, his tired, nonchalant eyes skimming over his supposed additional student. "Introduce yourself then go occupy the vacant seat in the back. Make it quick. I still have an announcement to share."

Now that she finally showed herself after being enrolled late despite the fact that she got in by recommendations by none other than Gojo Satoru himself, his class has ended up in an odd number. He couldn't help but to question why she wasn't put in 1-B.

Yuju stood quiet for a few moments, taking in the energy of the room which was filled with mostly curiousity and excitement. Some couldn't care less about her presence.

"I'm Itadori Yuju.... nice to meet you."

Then silence.

'That's it?'

"I do apologize for my late attendance; I had some personal business to take care of overseas."

'Better now?'

'No.'

After a rather suprisingly hearty "It's okay!" from majority of the class, Yuju walked over to the vacant seat at the back between a big gruff looking guy and Shoto Todoroki.

Who didn't know the son of the no.2 hero?

Yuju took her time to get comfortable in her seat and look around a bit at the room. There wasn't much to catch the eyes other than the adjustments to make students and staff of all shapes and sizes be as comfortable in a classroom as it could possibly be.

"Continuing on with what I said earlier, the fight isn't over just yet." Eraserhead, or called as Mr. Aizawa in UA, now started to continue his announcement.

Everyone but Yuju was curious and on edge. Why wouldn't they be? After all, they had just been attacked with villains in the middle of a class not too long ago. Such incident had obviously reached the news and it spread like wildfire all over Japan.

But, contrary to what everyone thought, Aizawa's scary words described a more yippie fun kind of fight.

"The UA sports festival is around the corner."

Cue the loud cheers and cries of the students before they were interrupted by a blond pikachu looking guy followed with a valid question from a purple haired girl with earphone jacks for ears.

"A sports festival for all the public to see after a villain attack? Doesn't that seem a little disregarding?" She asked, followed by hums of agreement from others. They were on edge, as they should.

"Going through with this event would mean proving to the public that UA's crisis management system isn't easily shaken." Aizawa stated, obviously words that came from the unafraid rat principal of the school. "Security will be five times stronger this year so there's that. Above all, the festival will be a big opportunity for you students– especially in the hero department. This event shouldn't be cancelled just because of mere villains."

Yuju rested her head on the palm of her hand, pursing her lips as she simultaneously listened to the announcement and the whispering of her new classmates who had their own thoughts they wanted to share about the matter.

Her first thought was that the school was more focused on it's reputation rather than the mental well-being of it's students if they were to go on with the festival. But then again, this was also a hero course class which meant making it's students grow to be unafraid of suprise attacks like last time. Adding to that, 1-A isn't the only class in all of UA.

"Our sports festival is one of Japan's biggest events and has taken the place of the Olympics which is now a mere formality."

"All the top heroes will be watching for scouting purposes as well." Yaoyorozu Momo, one of the students who got in through recommendations, added. She was understandably eager to catch the eyes of well-known pro heroes.

"Of course, working under a popular hero agency will provide more experience and popularity. If you manage to catch the eyes of a pro, it instantly opens your future in the hero world." Aizawa confirmed, "You only get three chances- one per ear. No aspiring hero can let this chance pass by."

Yuju blankly stared, an unreadable expression on her face as she watched the wrapped up hero and teacher didmiss homeroom and walk out for the next subject.

His words stuck to her.

Why was she in UA in the first place? Especially when she already finished 'high school' despite still being 16 and practically already has a promising career as a sorcerer- not to mention as a special grade.

'Aspiring heroes, huh.'

...

"Sooo? How's your first day there at UA?"

Yuju leaned back on her seat and sprawled her legs under the table, an old clamshell phone in hand held up to her ear as she, for a moment, silently listened to the ruffling and incoherent voices of other people on the other line.

She tipped her head back, looked up at the ceiling and replied, "Nothing special. Our adviser only announced about the sports festival and it was normal classes after that."

"Mm.... that's good I guess... made any friends yet?"

"No."

Yuju's response was immediate, quickly earning a nervous chuckle from the other line. "Not suprised.. but you should, though; it's one of the reasons Gojo-sensei sent you there."

"Even if it was one of the reasons, a person still wouldn't do it if they don't want to." Yuju said back, a hint of irritation laced in her tone that was made more promiment from the creasing of her brows and the frown reaching it's way to her lips.

"You're in UA so you can develop better connections with others-"

"Why not try to develop better connections with people from more reachable communities rather than a hard-to-get-into hero school?"

"Because that school you're currently in has amazing faculty staffs and births amazing heroes, which means good influence- especially for you." The voice was stern and serious. "We're not letting you easily interact with people you can either easily mess up or influence you more into a bad person."

"A little harsh to say your little sister's a bad person, isn't it?" Yuju rolled her eyes, smiling just a tad after the line went silent for a few seconds. "You of all people should know my real situation: misunderstood, and the fact that you, as an older brother, not knowing that says it all."

"I know you, Yuju." He said, voice seemingly void of emotions, but the young teen could easily tell they were simply held back– but they leaked from the cracks as Yuju could always find in a person. "Better than anyone else. Your games aren't fun, and no one wants to play with you."

"Hurtful." Yuju frowned. "Even a well-known, prestigious hero school can have bad people y'know. Not all 'good people' are good."

'Like you.' She thought, though didn't dare to say it out loud. 'You left me.'

"I'm getting lunch." Yuju, now seemingly numb and emotionless, said to the person on the other side of the line who had audibly let out a sigh.

"Yu-"

"Stay as safe as possible over there... wherever you are anyways.."

"C'mon, Yu- this is the few of the times we get to talk in months!-"

"Bye, Yuji-nii."

Then she hung up, staring for a second at the contact name before it disappeared.

"-oh?"

Spiky red hair and gullible round eyes peeked from the doorway of the classroom, staring at Yuju, who sat at the back alone, with surprise and curiosity. His energy was warm and welcoming- a contrast to his sharp appearance.

"I thought everyone was still having lunch- heh." The boy chuckled sheepishly, finally fully stepping into the room with a paper bag in hand. He casually walks over to where the girl sat, then stopped by the desk on her front right and took a seat there, his feet just barely grazing the floor beneath as he lightly swung them with a smile on his face, head tilted to the side with a curious gaze in his eyes.

"Itadori Yujo, right? New face; you introduced yourself during homeroom earlier." He grinned, "that pink hair and slits under your eyes aren't really something to forget easily... -in a good way, of course!"

Yuju smiled at the compliment. "It's Yuju, and thank you... and you are?"

The redhead jumped, suddenly panicked that he hadn't introduced himself yet. Yuju couldn't really understand his reaction seeing as it wasn't even that long since they started talking.

"Kirishima Eijiro!" He sheepishly grinned, "Sorry, should've introduced myself first.."

'Quick to apologize.' Yuju had immediately noticed.

Kirishima seemed to be genuinely kind and friendly, a trait the girl found interesting. His energy was warm and welcoming with chivalry and equity and a little bit of gullible.

Yuju's lips curled into a smiled and her eyes glistening with something the boy could notice to become darker.

She stood up from her seat, the boy's smile slowly disappearing as he watched her in confusion. She stood in front of him, towering with that same smile and look in her eyes. Then, she bowed; a good 15 degrees before standing straight once again with closed eyes and a more genuine-looking wide smile.

"Nice to meet you, Kirishima."
