Taehyung was late, but he had the gift for his sister wrapped up and was currently holding it in his hands behind his back and that was all that mattered.

"Happy birthday, Jennie!" Taehyung said the moment he burst into the dining room where his father was also sitting at and eating dinner. He handed his sister her present.

"You're late." Jennie pouted as she received the gift. "But happy birthday to you too." The corners of her mouth formed into a smile.

"I'm sorry, I stopped by an artifact store to buy you a gift, but the employee was talking too much," Taehyung said as he recalled his encounter with Jungkook.

"Well, you're here now." Jennie smiled.

"Taehyung," Poseidon spoke as Taehyung was taking a seat beside his sister. "I already told Jennie and I need to tell you as well."

One of the water nymphs came over and placed a plate of food in front of Taehyung. "What is it?"

Poseidon smiled wide, his eyes crinkling to due to his age and the size of his smile. "Happy birthday son!"

Taehyung smiled. "Thanks, dad." He said before he began to eat.

The family of three enjoyed their dinner, occasionally talking about memories of when Taehyung and Jennie were younger and other good memories.

"Remember when Jennie ran up to uncle, Hades' dog, Cerberus as if it was a just a little dog, not scared that it had three heads?" Taehyung laughed.

"Remember when you screamed after Cerberus almost pushed you into the River Styx." Jennie teased.

"I didn't fall though. Charon caught me and told me that if I wanted to cross, I would have to wait until I died."

"I also remember that Hades' child, Jisoo was laughing at you," Poseidon added as he recalled the memory a well. "I saw Hades smiling so much that day just because his daughter was laughing so hard at Taehyung."

"Jisoo just likes to laugh and make fun of me." Taehyung tried to defend himself.

"Jisoo is the sweetest person I've ever met," Jennie said. "So don't you dare make fun of her again."

Taehyung raised his hands up in defense. He then smirked as he suddenly remembered an embarrassing memory of Jennie. "Remember that one time when you dated that human guy, Jongin Wasn't he a model or something?"

Jennie's cheeks turned pink. "No, I don't know who you're talking a lot."

"Probably not, since you only dated him for about a month."

Jennie slapped Taehyung's arm. "Shut up!" She yelled in embarrassment.

"It's no wonder you don't remember him." Taehyung continued to tease.

"Keep trying to tease me and I will expose you as well." Jennie threatened.

Taehyung smirked. "There's nothing for you to expose."

"Oh yeah? Then what about that time that you used your powers during a swimming competition and-"

"I'm going to need you to stop right there, our father does not need to know." Taehyung smiled cheekily as his father's eyes glanced back and forth between the twins.

"...almost drowned a person just so that you could win." Jennie finished.

Taehyung stared at his sister in disbelief and then glanced at his father who had an eyebrow raised.

"You almost drowned someone? A human?" He asked.

"Yes it was a human, but I didn't drown them. I almost did." Taehyung tried to defend himself.

Poseidon shook his head. "Taehyung you shouldn't use your powers to harm people, especially humans."

Taehyung lowered his head. "I know, I'm sorry. I just got very competitive since water is our territory."

"Don't do it again," Poseidon warned before turning to Jennie. "Did you tell this said model, Kai about you?"

"That I am a goddess and daughter of one of the big three gods?" Jennie asked. "Of course not, that's why I only dated him for a month. He was getting too nosey."

Poseidon nodded. "Well, we should get to opening gifts now, since we're done eating." He said as he looked at the empty plates.

The water nymphs came to collect the dirty plates while the family headed to the main room where they were going to open the gifts.

Jennie was currently holding the gift that Taehyung has given her. She decided that she was going to open it at the end after she had opened every single gift from her father. She wanted to save the best for last.

Jennie insisted on Taehyung to open his gifts first, so Taehyung did. Just like Jennie, he had kept the gifts from her until the end. He opened his father's gifts first smiled after each one. He thanked his father before finally opening the two gifts from Jennie.

The first one was a picture frame of a picture of them from when they were kids. Taehyung smiled fondly before opening the second.

"It's a two-piece," Jennie said as Taehyung unwrapped a necklace.

It was then that Taehyung realized that Jennie was wearing a small heart-shaped necklace around her neck with the name, TAETAE initialed into it.

Taehyung's necklace had JENNIE initialed into it. Taehyung smiled even more. "Thanks, Jennie, you're so sweet." He said and gave her a hug.

Jennie helped Taehyung clasp the necklace around his neck before she began to open her father's gifts first.

Taehyung suddenly felt guilty when it came time for Jennie to open his gift. He let Jungkook pick a gift for her, instead of him and the gift had no sentimental value, unlike the gifts he received from Jennie.

"I bought it from an artifact store," Taehyung said as his sister looked at the gift confused.

"What is it?" She asked.

Taehyung looked down at the gift in her hands. He really should have picked out the gift because he didn't know what it was. "It's a..." Taehyung took the artifact from Jennie's hands and noticed that it was clasped and it seemed to look like a bracelet. "...a bracelet." He said before handing it back to his sister. "You're supposed to unclasp it to put it around your wrist."

"Like this?" Jennie asked as she struggled to unclasp it.

Poseidon took the bracelet from her hands. "Here let me help you." He said. "Hold onto this though."

Jennie held onto the side where her father had instructed her to hold so that he wouldn't fumble while trying to unclasp it and so that he wouldn't struggle much to pull it open.

As soon as Poseidon unclasped it, there was a bright glow in the room and Taehyung had to shield his eyes from how bright it was.

Once the glow was gone, Taehyung removed his hand from his eyes and was shocked when he found his father and his sister turned to stone while the artifact that he has gifted his sister was now trapped in their now stone hands. The artifact remained the same and looked the same from when he had bought it. It was the only thing that didn't turn into stone.

"Jungkook what the fuck did you sell me?" He asked himself while staring at his family in horror. His hand reached for the artifact but stopped himself from touching it because he was afraid that something would happen.

He quickly told the water nymphs to take care of his family and that he would be back with the person who did that to his family.

Taehyung emerged from under the water and glared at the artifact store as he angrily walked on the water, his clothes instantly drying.

When he finally reached land, Taehyung summoned a cloud from the sky, not bothering to care if a person saw him. He didn't think anyone would see him anyways. It was night time and people didn't go out at night often.

Taehyung hopped on before the cloud began to make its journey to Mount Olympus. As soon as he arrived, he quickly ran up the mountain and inside the palace where the common gods lived.

"Taehyung? What are you doing here? You usually live with your father in your watery domain." Hoseok, the son of Apollo said upon noticing Taehyung.

"Where is Jungkook?" He asked ignoring Hoseok's questions.

"In his room."

"Lead the way." Taehyung isn't always on Mount Olympus, so he isn't familiar with the gods and goddesses' rooms.

Hoseok led him down a few corridors and took a few turns before finally stopping in front of a door. "Jungkook, someone wants to see you." He said after softly knocking on a door.

Taehyung didn't wait for a response. He immediately barged in the room where he found Jungkook standing shirtless in the middle of the room, a towel wrapped around his waist and his wet strands of hair letting water droplets slide down his chest.

"What the fuck Taehyung?"

"Shut up and tell me what the fuck you sold me today!" Taehyung angrily yelled.

"It was just an artifact."

"Then why did it turn my family into stone?!"

"I don't know!"

"Well, you should know! You were there!"

"I just started today!"

"Well you sold it to me, so it's your fault. Now you need to fix it unless you want your mom to know that you sold a cursed artifact to a customer."

"How am I- you know what, fine. Just let me get dressed and then I'll go try to fix it."

Taehyung glared before walking out of the room. He closed the door behind him to let Jungkook get dressed. He noticed that Hoseok was gone too, but didn't pay much attention to it.

Taehyung leaned against the wall and bounced his right leg while he impatiently waited for Jungkook. As soon as the door opened he quickly grabbed the younger's arm and dragged him out the palace.

"Stop holding my wrist so tightly," Jungkook complained.

Taehyung hopped on the same cloud from earlier with Jungkook behind him. The cloud descended down the very large mountain before making its way towards the water.

Taehyung got off and started walking on the water, while Jungkook remained on the cloud.

"You know, I don't got powers that let me walk on water. I'm the son of Aphrodite, not Poseidon," said Jungkook.

"Just get off the cloud. It doesn't matter if you fall in the water, we're headed underwater, to begin with." Taehyung said not bothering to look back at Jungkook.

"But-"

"Just get off! I want my family back to now they were before."

Jungkook hesitantly stuck a foot off the cloud while doing the same with the other. His feet dangled off like a small child's who isn't big enough to touch the ground when sitting in a chair.

"My shoes will get wet," Jungkook said.

"Just get off already!" Taehyung yelled.

Jungkook took a breath before jumping into the water. The water rushed up his nose causing him to try to open his mouth to gasp for some air, but instead, water rushed into his mouth as well.

Jungkook found himself falling underwater and into the darkness. He thought he saw a figure coming after him, but he wasn't sure because the next thing he knew he had completely blacked out.
