15; More Secrets Revealed

Cursed finally reach 1k views thank you all so much 💜

"So my mother made this cursed object that cursed your father and sister to turn into stone which also turned my father into stone because he cheated on my mother," Jungkook concluded the next day was n the shop.

"But there are more journal entries," said Taehyung. "So there could be more information about your father and information on how to undo the curse."

Jungkook hesitated, grabbing the first page with his fingertips, preparing to turn the page, but then let go of the page last minute. "I know that you want me to read the rest of the journal entries, but I can't," said Jungkook. "I found out that my father which my mother said was dead, was actually turned into stone by her. I'm scared to read what else she did."

"It's okay Jungkook," said Hoseok placing a hand on the younger's shoulder while closing the journal with his other hand. "We'll wait until you're ready."

Jungkook watched as Hoseok then placed the journal behind the counter, letting it rest there along with the other book that they had found in Aphrodite's room.

Taehyung was quiet as he sat beside Jungkook behind the counter. He would occasionally steal glances at the younger as Jungkook pretended not to notice. Meanwhile, Hoseok was taking care of the store, looking out for any customers who could possibly be stealing.

"Listen," Taehyung finally spoke up, causing Jungkook to turn to look at him. "I know you're scared about what other secrets you're mom hid from you, but I also want my family back. I miss them and you promised that you would help me get them back."

Jungkook sighed as he turned away to lower his head. "I know, and I intend to keep my promise, but I just can't seem to read on after finding out what my mother did to my father. I didn't even know him, and that's okay, but she didn't have to lie."

"Maybe the pain was too much for her to tell you," said Taehyung.

Jungkook shrugged, finally looking up again, but this time his eyes remained focused on the journal staring back at him. "Can you stay to have dinner with us again?" Asked Jungkook. "I don't want to read the journal before dinner. I don't know if I'll be able to handle sitting at the same table as my mother if I end up learning new secrets she kept. We can read it together after dinner."

Taehyung nodded. "Yeah, I'll stay and read it with you."

Jungkook offered a smile small. "Thanks, Taehyung, and thank you for yesterday as well."

"All I did was hold your hand throughout the whole dinner," said Taehyung, unsure of what Jungkook was thanking him for.

"Yeah, I know, and I appreciate you holding my hand. You and Hoseok seem to be the only people that I can count on other than Yoongi," said Jungkook sadly.

"You'll always have me and Hoseok to count on," said Taehyung. "And I know that we didn't get along at first, but I've grown to like you Jungkook. You're not that bad, you're just a lonely boy in need of love and affection."

Jungkook softly smiled. "You're not so bad either. I've grown used to your presence that holding your hand now feels like a sense of comfort for me," he admitted.

Taehyung smiled back at Jungkook's words. "Well, that's some character development as well. You threw a fit for having to hold my hand before when we had to pretend like we were dating."

Jungkook's face turned red at the memory. "Shut up, don't remind me."

"I'd say you've gotten better at fake dating too."

"Shut up," Jungkook said as he covered up his face with his cold hands, attempting to cool down his face warm face.

"Why? I think I enjoy teasing you," said Taehyung as he softly chuckled, watching the younger.

Jungkook removed his hands from his face to reveal his blushing cheeks. "Well, I don't like it," he said as he softly punched Taehyung's shoulder, a smile on his face as Taehyung smiled back at him.

"They're in love they just haven't realized it," whispered Hoseok as he watched the two of them sitting behind the counter and smiling at one another, making him smile as well.

Jungkook was gripping Taehyung's hand as they entered the dining room hall to eat. They sat down a few seats away from Jungkook's mother again, causing Aphrodite to raise an eyebrow in confusion, but didn't question it as Seokjin who was sitting beside her reminded her that they were dating.

Hosoek took the empty seat beside Yoongi, immediately asking about Jimin. "So how's the human?"

Yoongi scowled. "Why is that the only thing we ever talk about when we see each other?"

"Well, why are you so bothered by it?" Asked Hoseok.

Yoongi pursed his lips, turning his attention to Jungkook and Taehyung's intertwined hands. "What's with you two?" He asked, changing the subject.

"They're in love with each other. They just don't know it yet," whispered Hoseok in his ear.

Taehyung gave Hoseok a questioning look while Jungkook gave Yoongi an expression that said, spill.

"Oh, I have been knowing since the first time I saw them together," whispered Yoongi, causing the fake couple across from them to grow more curious as to what they were saying.

"We were just talking about how much of a cute couple you two are," said Hoseok, causing both Jungkook's and Taehyung's face to slightly redden.

The rest of the dinner was spent with Taehyung and Jungkook eating, their hands still intertwined. Hoseok and Yoongi just talked about random things while Seokjin was staring at his brother and group of friends suspiciously. He knew something was up between them, but he didn't know what.

"Are you okay?" Taehyung asked after dinner, once they were in Jungkook's room.

Jungkook nodded, staring at the journal in his hands. He was sitting crisscross on his bed while Taehyung was sitting next to him, and Hoseok was sitting in front of them.

With hesitant hands, Jungkook opened the journal, flipping over the first page they had already read. He took a deep breath before reading the next page.

I am Aphrodite, the goddess of love, and yet I seem to be incapable of love. The man I loved so much, stopped feeling the same way.

Every time I look at Jungkook now, it pains me to see the image of his father in him. His big doe eyes, he gets it from him. That smile, he also gets it from his father.

I spend most of my days with my son, Eros. We go on causing mischief with the humans because they're so helpless when it comes to love.

Other times, I find myself seeking comfort from other men. I've had my affairs, but none of then give me what I want. I just want to be loved again, is that too much to ask?

Jungkook scoffed as he read the last sentence in the journal entry, causing Taehyung and Hoseok to look at him confused. "My mother wants to he feel loved again, but she forgets that she has her sons that love her."

Jungkook passed the journal to Hoseok and Taehyung for them to read to the could understand what he was talking about.

"Maybe, she seeks the love of a significant other," Hoseok suggested.

"You should keep reading," said Taehyung as he passed the notebook back to Jungkook. "We might find some information on how to turn my family back."

Jungkook nodded, flipping onto the next page to read the next journal entry.

Today I asked Eros to take care of his younger siblings, Seokjin and Jungkook. He has a son of his own who plays with Seokjin and offers to take care of baby Jungkook.

While Eros was babysitting, I headed off to the mistress's house of Jungkook's father. They were obviously still turned to stone and I went back to see if I should turn them back or not.

When I arrived, I found them just as the last time I saw them when they were cursed to stone. Their cold stone hands held the cursed bracelet I made. I stared at them for a while, trying to make up my mind, but then I eventually did.

I turned them back, and Jungkook's father was surprised to see me. He tried apologizing to me and told me that it wasn't what it seemed, but I didn't want to listen to his lies again.

The mistress was more cooperative and honest. She revealed that they had been seeing each other for a few months and that she didn't know about me.

The sincerity in her voice and the way she spoke made me know that she was telling the truth while Jungkook's father tried denying it after.

I asked the woman if she loved Jungkook's father, but she said that she couldn't love a man who lied about having another family.

I let the woman go, but I turned Jungkook's father back to stone. Such men like him don't deserve the love of a significant other.

Jungkook flipped the page again to read the next journal entry but was confused when it only talked about Aphrodite's day. He flipped the page again, and then the next until he was at the end of the journal.

"What is it?" Asked Taehyung.

"There are no more journal entries about the cursed object," Jungkook explained.

"Then now what?" Asked Hoseok.

Jungkook sighed as he handed the journal back to Hoseok and Taehyung to read. "We need to figure out how my mother was able to turn my father back to normal and back to stone again."

Behind Jungkook's bedroom door, stood a figure, their ear pressed against the door as they listened, a smirk growing on their face while Jungkook, Taehyung, and Hoseok tried figuring out how they would get Taehyung's family back with this new information.
