Chapter 16
{Reader's POV}
"What the hell are you doing here? How did you get into my carnival?"
Jack towered over me at his full height as I laid on the ground with ropes wrapped around my body.
"How am I supposed to know! I was gonna ask you that!", I said. Jack raised an eyebrow and squatted down in font of me. "We slept together in your bed, didn't we? I must have unconsciously teleported you here then", Jack explained. I frowned and let out a huff as my gaze turned to the zombie children beside us.
"Wonderful. Well that'll teach me to sleep in the same bed as you", I retorted.
Jack sniffled a laugh and smiled as he gazed down at me. His soft expression soon faded when he noticed the bullet sized hole in my arm. "Who shot you?", he asked in a deep, angry voice. I stiffened and the memory of the Officer leaving me to die flashed in my head. "It was him. Officer Stan I mean." Jack's eyes widened and he abruptly stood up from the ground to face the children.
His face turned anxious and he began to frantically scan over all the children's faces. "Where's Daniel?! He was supposed to be guarding the main Circus Tent!", he shouted angrily and watched as the children looked at each other in confusion. Jack scowled and waved his arm in the way to magically release me from the ropes.
"Take her to the Carousel!!", Jack commanded over the zombie children and disappeared in a cloud of black smoke. The kids turned their sights to me and gently lead me through the carnival as I wondered about Jack's odd reaction to this.
"What is he up to..?"

{Narrator's POV}
Officer Stan tripped and stumbled in his footing as he continued to run from the hellish children.
He didn't feel slightly remorseful for cowardly leaving behind the woman to fend for herself. If he had stayed and protected her, like any good police official would have done, it would've gotten him killed.
It was either him or her.
Officer Stan was out of breath and completely exhausted. He had spent what had felt like an eternity running away from zombies and having to listen to annoying toys mock him with their endless laughter. Everything about this grotesque world reminded him of the cursed clown he hated so dearly.
Once he found a way out, he was going to arrest the clown and make sure he paid for this.
Frustrated and angry with the numerous and endless sightings of bloody children, Officer Stan shook his head and decided to run for cover. He accidentally stumbled upon an old Circus Tent and hurriedly dashed inside.
Carefully scanning over his surroundings, from the drapes, he watched the children mindlessly walk around and look for him. When the children couldn't find him, they continued walking and left the area. Much to the Officer's satisfaction, Officer Stan let out a relived sigh and turned back to the tent he hid for safety.
Rows and rows of bleachers circled around the podium with their dusty, old seats absent of any sort of audience. The ground was rough and bumpy, not much of a difference from outside, and the area where the podium was was stained with blotches of dried blood.
"COME ONE, COME ALL! WHETHER BIG OR SMALL! TO SEE THE BEST CLOWN OF THEM ALL!! The one, the only, LAUGHING JACK-IN-A-BOX!!!!",
The hearty clown abruptly announced as a spotlight shined on him. He raised his arms and extended them in the air as he grinned at the Officer—who was stunned by his sudden appearance.
Jack had been watching the man after he left (Y/N) in the care of his playmates. He waited exactly for this moment to properly introduce himself after spending so much time hiding from him—to which Jack had loathed due to his childish pride. The monochrome clown was drowning in his own excitement and absolutely LOVED the expression of utter fear spread across the man's face.
Jack chuckled and waved his hand at the bleachers, to which the spotlights twirled and spun over to unveil the hundreds of zombie children that now sat in each of the seats. It was a full house.
With a devilish smirk, Jack nodded his head to a zombie kid next to him and in a split second, the child opened a tiger cage.
An animal, flesh dripping off it's sides, showing bone almost everywhere, jaws razor-sharp and with chunks of meat in between, roared and circled around Jack with a menacing growl.
"Boy do we have a show for you! The audience is eccentric, the kids are dying to test out their new moves, and my pet is anxious to greet you~!!", Jack playfully said. Officer Stan's eyes widened and he gawked at the scene in bewilderment. Never in his life had he witnessed something as diabolic as this.
Out of the countless murders and gruesome crime scenes he's seen with his own eyes, none of those times could compare to the playground this demonic clown has set up for himself. It was appalling.
"It's rude to stare Charlie."
Officer Stan frowned and tensed up at the clown's words. "My name is Charles J. Stan! Don't call me that!", he said with a scowl. Jack shook his head and let out a heavy, exaggerated sigh as he turned to his beautiful tiger, Lilly.
The zombie children who wore black and white uniforms quickly came to their master's side and sent glares toward the Officer. "I don't know about you Charlie, but your bad manners are upsetting my audience", Jack said with a smile.
The Officer knitted his eyebrows and gazed at the bleachers, expecting to see all their tiny eyes on him.... However, the bleachers were now empty.
Stunned by the scene, Officer Stan turned back to look at the clown and realized no one was there with him either.
Jack smiled at him and said, "They say nightmares only exist in your dreams, why don't we prove them wrong?"
Hearing a low growl, Officer Stan tensed up in his place and began to squirm pathetically as the undead tiger stepped up behind him. The glint in the tiger's nasty eyes foretold the future and unfortunately caused the Officer to freeze in his spot, leaving him vulnerable to the tiger's claws.
The Officer screamed and shouted in brittle agony as the tiger ripped him to shreds. Tears slipped from the corners of his eyes, but he still remained calm, knowing for a fact that he couldn't die in his world.
Taking notice of the Officer's thoughts, Jack shook his head and clasped his hands behind his back. He whistled the tune of Pop! Goes the Weasel and slowly walked towards the man as he wept from the burning pain.
"You've figured out most of my rules, haven't you? Well, Charlie, could your body heal in the human world if I were to throw you out now? Hmmm??", Jack said mockingly as he tapped the heel of his foot against the ground. A dark, ominous hole appeared beside the tiger and her prey. The man's eyes widened as the tiger ripped his jaw off and threw it across the room.
"Rip off his limbs while you're at it Lilly, we wouldn't want those doctors to patch him up after this, now would we?" The undead tiger roared in response and sadistically began to sink her jaws into the man's legs before tearing them off.
At this point, through all the carnage, the Officer had perished in a matter of seconds after being savagely mauled by Lilly. The strong stench of blood clung to the air and the pools of the coppery liquid added to the rest of the stains in the tent—much to Jack's amusement.
The monochrome clown fell to his knees and clutched his head as he maniacally burst into a fit of crazed laughter. His dark, wide eyes stared off into the ceiling of the tent and his smile spread across his face as the tiger nonchalantly threw the man's scattered remains down the hole.
"AHAHAHAH!!!! GOODBYE CHARLIE~!!!"

{Reader's POV}
"You wouldn't have happen to like these rides when you were alive, would you?", I asked with a smile as I turned to one of the zombie children. They simply raised their heads and stared at me with big, lifeless eyes that held no interest.
I let out a tired, bored sigh and leaned on the horse that was rhythmically moving me up and down as the Carousel slowly spun around. I gazed off into the distance and looked at all the empty booths and bloody stains that littered the grounds.
As much as this place was astounding, I was beginning to worry about Jack.
I let out another sigh and shook my head, knowing it was ridiculous to worry about him—mostly because he was the one doing all the torturing. I walked off the stage and scanned over all the other games I could possibly ride instead. My attention span was short at the moment and all I cared about was one big scary ride to get my mind off of things.
Unfortunately there were none in sight so I decided to just go for a walk, but the zombies still obediently kept an eye on me. The children trailed behind as I crossed my arms behind my head and looked around with a bored expression.
Then, as soon as I found a House of Mirrors, my attention sparked and I gazed over at the building. On one side, I could see a giant painting of a young boy with blonde hair. He had the soft features of a child and the warming eyes of a caring person.
He looked so innocent.
However, on the other side there was a man instead. Same blonde hair and features but.... his eyes seemed distant and cold, nothing like the child's. He appeared more aggressive and murderous.
"What an odd pair...", I mumbled under my breath as I slowly stepped into the House of Mirrors, still gazing at the paintings of the two blonde figures.
