"It's true. I am cursed by my own girlfriend."

He continues to speak, "It happens 2 years ago. When I had a girlfriend. Her name was Lee Ye Ri. She was a sweetheart. She is kind, playful but strict sometimes."

Kai continues to tell her his story.

"We were so in love that time. It's like there's nothing can tear us apart. Unfortunately one day, she saw me rejecting one of my student's confession. The student seems unfazed for being rejected that she suddenly kisses me.

Ye Ri saw us. She misunderstands & thought I cheated on her. She didn't let me explain the situation. She headed towards a red car. In the end, she's gone..."

The boy runs towards his girlfriend's bloody figure. It's raining... The red car is already gone.

The boy cries, "Ye Ri, hang on! I already call ambulance!"

"Don't cry, Jonginie. It's okay. I know this is the end of me."

"No!! Don't talk like that. Ye Ri please bear with it! I can't... I can't live without u..." the boy's voice cracks as he says the last sentence.

"Jongin, u still promise me a forever, right?..."

"...Yeah." The boy is sobbing right now.

The girl slowly closes her eyes, "I'm glad..."

"YE RI, DON'T CLOSE UR EYES. LEE YE RI!"

"Kai, I... I'm sorry to hear that..." Miyoung tries to refrain herself from crying.

'What a tragic love. They just want to be happy together. Is it that hard to get that??' she thinks.

"No need to cry. It's a waste of ur precious tears to cry over someone like her."

"H-huh??"

Kai sighs, "I thought it's over when she's dead but no. She's back."

It's been a week since the girl's funeral but the boy is still under a depression. His two friends are worried about him. The boy didn't come out of his room after the girl's funeral.

"Jongin... please open the door. It's been a week u are inside the room & u don't even eat anything. Please come out & eat something." a tall boy stands at the door of the boy.

"DON'T CALL ME THAT!! ONLY YE RI CAN CALL ME WITH THAT NAME!!"

The tall boy is taken aback by his friend's outburst.

A blonde girl knocks the door, "Come on, Kai! Get out of this room. It's me, Rianne. I take a flight from America just to see u!!!" she continues to knock the door.

"GO AWAY! I DON'T WANNA TALK TO ANYONE!!"

"Kai, please... I know u are hurt. But u need to take care of urself. Ye Ri wouldn't want u to be like this." The tall boy pleaded.

The two friends then hears a click sound from the door. The tall boy turns the knob & opens the door.

There, they see the boy in his broken state in a messy bedroom.

The two go to their now seemingly calm friend.

"Jongin..."

"...Don't call me that..." the boy said, weakly.

The tall boy hugs his friend.

"Let it all out, Kai. Let it all out." the blonde girl said.

"She's gone... I can't believe she's gone." the boy mumbles again & again.

The two friends cry as they see the boy's broken state.

"Hey bro, calm down." the tall boy said. Nevertheless, he tighthens the hug. The blonde also joins the hug.

"Now my life is meaningless..."

"A few months later, I finally get a grip on myself. I start to live normally. I go back to my workplace only to hear Ah Ra, the student that had a crush on me was dead."

"Hello!"

"Oh! Mr.Kim! It's been a while. Are u okay now?"

"Yeah. Im fine. Seriously, the dance studio has change so much! What do I miss?"

The owner of the studio sighs, "During ur absence, one of ur student, Ah Ra was found dead here."

"What?!"

The owner sighs, "I know. I also couldn't believe it until now. She is found dead down the balcony. Her body was cut, nails & eyes are pulled out of its place, her mouth was stitched. I can't stand to remember to girl's corpse." the owner shudders.

"Do u know who killed her?"

"No. We try to look at the CCTV but it blacks out when the murder happened. But the police suspects that the killer throws Ah Ra from the balcony after the killer stabs & do things to her. Poor girl. What did she do to deserve to be killed like that?"

The boy thinks the same.

"Then I try to date other girls to prove Chanyeol & Rianne that I had move on. But... every girl that I had date with were all murdered."

"Hello, Hye Sung sshi?"

"Who is this? This is Hye Sung's mother..." the woman's voice cracks & full of sadness.

"Hello, ma'am... I'm Kim Jongin."

"Kim Jongin?? U mean the who went to a date with my daughter??!" the woman shouts.

"Erm... yeah." the boy answers awkwardly.

"How dare u call her again when u had kill her?? Listen here Mr.Kim, I know all the rumours about ur curse. I don't think it's true until it happens to my own daughter. That's right. Because of u, my daughter is gone now!! Don't call us again, u freak!!" She hanged up.

The boy sobs. This is the 8th times this happened.

"What's happening? Something's wrong with me!!" the boy shouts hysterically.

"I stop dating. Then one day, I dreamt of the car accident again. I remember she asks me a forever. That's when I knew what's happening. She haunts me."

Kai is sitting on the coach when he suddenly feels cold. He look at the window to see the breeze is from the wind outside.
He thought he already closes the window... He just stands up & close the window.

"I try to tell Chanyeol & Rianne about it but they said it was just my imagination. Then, I start to distance myself from everyone. I cry every night as I think about my sorrow life & all the girls that died because of me..."

He sighs, "If she loves me, she will understand & frees me. But no, she won't."

"Kai, I know she has a reason why she did this to you."

Kai's face darkens, "Yeah, to torture me."

"There must other reason why she did this. Maybe she tells u when it's the right time." Miyoung said as she smiles brightly at Kai.

"Why don't u go?"

"Huh? Go where?"

"Away from me. U think Im crazy, right?"

"Nope, not at all. I mean, I believe u. It just make sense."

Kai just look at her, thinking, 'This is why I like her. She's a considerate person.'

"Kai, is this the reason why u rejects my confessions?" Miyoung suddenly asks.

Kai hesitates to answer. In the end, he said the truth, "...Yes."

Miyoung's eyes go bright, "So u like me??"

Kai nods slowly.

"Then let's have a date!"

"NO! Don't u understand what I said earlier? Im cursed. I can't be with any girl for the rest of my life!"

"But Im willing to take the risk! I've always want to be with u..."

"No. I don't want to hurt u..."

"Please! I know it's dangerous BUT I am sure Im going to be just fine. U always there with me, right?"

"Are u sure?" Kai asks one last time.

Miyoung nods.

".... ok, then. We are going out." he replies.

'Dont worry, Miyoung. I will protect u from being killed by Ye Ri!'

It's been three weeks since they are official, but there's no sign of trouble. Kai & Miyoung are happy with each other. Until one day...

Miyoung is going home after her part time job when she feels someone following her. It's been three days now so it's not a coincidence. She decides to call Kai.

"Kai, I think someone's following me."

"Where are u?"

"In front of my workplace."

"Wait there. I'll send u home."

"Okay."

From that day, Kai will walk her home from her workplace.

Miyoung is skipping happily to her next class when someone grabs her.

"Look out!"

The person pushes Miyoung that make her fall. Then a crashing sound can be heard. She turns around to see a broken plant pot. She then see her saver & thanks him. It's Kai.

"Be careful next time." he said.

After that day, Kai always there beside Miyoung at school.

Kai is watching television at his house when Chanyeol rushes to him. Miyoung is hang out with Rianne. They say it's just for girls.

"Kai, I can't call Miyoung! Rianne too!!"

"...what?"

'But it's already 10pm, Miyoung's curfew...' Kai thinks.

"I try to call them."

Miyoung is dragged by her hair to an empty room.

"How could u?! I thought we are friends!"

"I never thought u as a friend. U are just the nosy one, b*tch." Rianne spat at Miyoung's face before she begins to torture Miyoung.

"AHH IT HURTS!!!"

"Any calls from the girls?" Chanyeol asks Kai.

Kai shakes his head.

"Aish! Where are they? Rianne! Miyoung!"

'Miyoung, wherever u are please be safe.'

"Wait... I can detect Miyoung's phone!"

Miyoung lets out another scream as the knife craves at her right leg.

"Rianne.... why are u doing this to me?.... Why don't u just kill me like ur other victims??" Miyoung cries. The torture is so painful that she can't stand it.

"It's because u are the most annoying one. U are the longest to survive dating Kai after Ye Ri. AND I HATE THAT!!! So... I want to torture u slowly just like ur relationship." Rianne smirks evilly.

Kai & Chanyeol are searching for the girls, using the GPS as their guide. They reach the downtown.

"Aish! This place is complicated!!" Chanyeol groans.

"I think we should split up. If one of us already found the place message the other one, okay?"

"Okay!"

They split up. Kai follows the GPS carefully as the place is easy to lost. It's like a maze full of houses & factories.

After patiently follows the GPS he finally reaches his destination. He hear Miyoung's scream from inside the old, abandoned house. He quickly messages Chanyeol to come here & call police.

He hears Miyoung's voice, "So are u the one who kills Ye Ri?!"

"Of course. If it's not me, then who?"

"What... are u saying.... Rianne?..." Kai comes down the basement looking clueless.

"You hear me right, dear. Im the one who told Ye Ri that u cheated on her. And Im the one who hit her with the red car."

"B-but she's ur best friend... How could u kill her?...."

"Best friend, my foot. She's a stealer. She takes u from me!"

"YOU!!!" Kai tries to attack but is pinned down by Rianne herself.

"Don't forgot Im a master in martial arts, dear." Rianne smiles wickedly.

"Rin Hae, how could u? U know I like her but u did these to us. Destroy us..." Kai said after he calms down.

"It's cuz I love u, sweetie. I'll do everything to make u mine."

Miyoung shakes her head, "U are sick!"

Rianne laughs like a hysterically as she hears Miyoung's remarks.

"U keep on saying u love Kai but keep on hurting him. Is that what a person do to someone they loves?" Miyoung suddenly said.

"Shut up u b*tch! U don't know anything! U want Kai too, right? Kai, I just want to protect u from these desperate girls."

"U are the desperate one. Miyoung is right. U keep on hurting me. I always thought Ye Ri was the one who haunts me. U make me hate her!"

Rianne smirks, "Good. That's what I aim for. Now Kai sweetie let me kill this b*tch & we can live happily ever after."

"No. I won't let u kill her. I love Miyoung. U have to fight me first before u can kill her."

That seems to be the trigger for Rianne. Kai & Miyoung are surprise to see Rianne suddenly launch towards them. She holds the knife high.

Kai tries to protect Miyoung by getting in front of her but he gets shoved by Rianne. He didn't expect Rianne to be so strong.

"I know u first, not her! Why can't u accept me?!"

Kai holds both Rianne's arm firmly, making her scream like a mad woman. She struggles to be free but Kai hold her arms tighter, tight enough to form bruises.

"Im sorry, Rianne. I dont feel the same way. After all u did to Ye Ri and Miyoung..."

Rianne then uses her martial arts to knock Kai down. Kai still holds her tightly eventhough he feels pain all over his body.

"U are mine, Kai! If I don't get u, no one can!" Rianne suddenly said.

The other two shocked by the next thing Rianne do. She just stab Kai's ribs. Rianne seems to be shock by her own action too.

"W-what have I done...? K-kai... I don't mean it...."

Kai starts to cough out blood. Miyoung goes to Kai's side, trying to stop the bleeding.

Rianne shakes her head, in denial.

"No.. Im not the one who stab Kai. It's MIYOUNG!" Rianne shoves Miyoung away, and trying to 'help' Kai.

Miyoung tries to crawl back to Kai after being slammed hardly by the wall. That's when she hears some guns noise that make her stops her movement.

There infront of her is Rianne, pointing a gun at her.

"No Rin Hae! No!!!!" Kai shouts, trying to run towards Miyoung.

Rianne smiles, "U think u can live happily, Jonginie? Come think again. Yep, it's a no. Buh-bye, Ha Miyoung."

BANG!!!

Epilogue

Kai walks in front of the grave. He starts to shed his tears. He place the flowers on the tombstone. He slowly traces the name on the tombstone.

'Lee Ye Ri'

"Hello, Ye Ri. It's been a while since I come here, right? Haha, there are many things happened lately. I just dunno how to explain. It's too complicated."

He takes a deep breath, "I... I miss u... Im sorry for assuming u that u are the killer.
I have move on now. I have another girl that I love, cherish. I also allows her to call me Jongin. Hehe, don't be mad about it, okay? Lastly, I hope u can rest in peace there--"

"JONGINIEE!!!"

Kai is startle by the girl's outburst.

He hugs her as she nears him, "What is it, Miyoung?"

"How could u leave me alone in this cemetry?! I could get lost!" Miyoung whines childishly.

Kai kisses her forehead, "But u are not lost right?"

She huffs.

Kai just chuckles.

"Anyway, Miyoung this is Ye Ri's grave."

"Oh.. Anyeonghaseyo Ye Ri unnie! I am Ha Miyoung. I hope u give us ur blessing on our relationship!" Miyoung says cheerfully.

Kai smiles at his girlfriend's cuteness.

"Come on Miyoung. It's time to go now. We will visit again Ye Ri."

"Bye Ye Ri unnie!!~~"

The couple walk out of the cemetry. The wind blows calmly.

"Miyoung, faster! We need to take Chanyeol from the mental hospital."

"Oh yeah! I forgot! I can't believe it's been a year since the incident..."

Together, they walk hand by hand towards Kai's car.

Kai succeeds to stop the shoot. He pushes Rianne to left, making Rianne to shoot aimlessly. Luckily Miyoung doesn't get shoot. Then they hear police sirens & Chanyeol's loud voice calling for them.

Bonus (Forgotten Love)

"Since when u are being like this?" the psychologist asks Rianne.

"Since the first time we met in the playground, when we are six. Kai was the first boy to be nice to me. All of my families abandoned me. He's the only one who stays with me. That day I promise myself to make him mine." Rianne giggles.

The psychologist writes about Rianne's weird behaviour on his notebook. After they finishes their session, the psychologist tells Rianne's condition to the police & Chanyeol.

"She has an OCD disorder. It is pretty serious too. So I think she should be keep in the mental hospital instead of the jail."

The police nods while Chanyeol couldn't believe what he just heard.

Rianne has a mental disorder? Why didn't he notice this before? He is such a bad friend...

Ever since the day Rianne was admitted in the mental hospital, Chanyeol will always visit her. Kai & Miyoung are not allowed to visit Rianne as their presence can switch on Rianne's trigger.

"Hello, Mrs Kang!"

"Oh Chanyeol! It's u again. Visitting Rianne, right? She's in her room."

"Okay, thanks Mrs Kang!" Chanyeol beams.

Chanyeol heads to Rianne's room. Inside, he sees Rianne curling on her bed. Rianne then notice Chanyeol.

"Oh hi Chanyeol!"

"Hi Rianne! How are u feeling?"

"Im good as always. Hey, do u bring Kai in here?" she asks with shiny eyes. It seems like she lost her memories about the incident & Miyoung.

"Sorry but no. He's busy with his work."

Rianne scoffs, "He's so rude! He always busy with his work!"

The next hours, Rianne keeps on talking about Kai. Chanyeol just listens to her.

"Oh, Rianne. The visiting hours is going to end. I'll be going now."

Rianne smiles, "Okay! Don't forget to bring Kai next time!!"

Chanyeol fakes a smile & waves at Rianne.

"Oh Chanyeol. Going home now?" Mrs. Kang asks.

Chanyeol just nods, "See u tomorrow, Mrs. Kang."

"Wait Chanyeol. I don't get u. She's a lost cause. She can't be normal again. So why are u always here?" Mrs. Kang said.

Chanyeol just smiles at her, "She's my bestfriend. I won't lose hope on her."

Chanyeol then walks out of the hospital, waiting for Kai & Miyoung to pick him up.

"Hey, Chanyeol! So how is she?" Miyoung asks.

Chanyeol sighs, "Still the same.."

Kai & Miyoung just look at Chanyeol with sympathy. When they go home, Chanyeol quickly excuses himself to his room. From the outside, the other two can hear his cries.

The two are sad with their friend's situation but there's nothing they can do.

The next day, Chanyeol rushes the the hospital as he is late to visit Rianne.

"Oh Chanyeol! She's at the garden right now."

"Right. Thanks!"

He rushes to the garden & see Rianne sitting at one of the benches.

"Yo, Rianne!" Chanyeol greets her.

But Rianne doesn't respond. He approaches Rianne slowly.

"Ri...anne??" she looks at Chanyeol with unreadable eyes but didn't say anything.

Since that day, Rianne doesn't talk. She will always stare longingly.

Today, Chanyeol helps the nurse to feed Rianne. (Rianne doesn't want to eat that the nurses are annoyed with her.)

"Rianne, please eat. U will be weak if u don't eat."

Rianne just shooks her head.

"Please, Rianne. It hurts for me to see u like this." Chanyeol pleads.

"Kai..."

"Huh?"

"He's not here because he hates me right?" she whispers.

Chanyeol just look at her with a guilty face.

"Kai, Im sorry...." she keeps on mumbling Kai's name & 'sorry'.

Chanyeol holds himself not to cry, 'Why do u always care about him? What about me??.......
