Chapter 4
He gave me an hour to get the few things I need. I ran the list of things I need through my head: 'Let's see... hairbrush, toiletries, some clothes, that breath-taking dress, bikini, sunnies, sun-screen, my diary, photo's, camera, handbag, cell phone and my lucky charm bracelet.' It took me just 30 minutes to pack my things. I had one last look of my home before I turned, locked it up and turned to go. "Ready?" he asked me. I sighed sadly and said: "Yeah, I guess so... I'm going to miss this place so much, this was my home for two years and I can't imagine leaving it!" We probably stood there for 5 minutes before his voice brought me back to earth. "Rosella, let's go before something else tries to kill you." He said holding out his hand. Reluctantly I took hold of it and the next thing I knew we were in front of this gorgeous, three-story old Victorian mansion. "Wow, you sure can teleport fast!" I said feeling a little dizzy like I might faint at any moment now. "Yes, sorry about that. I should be more careful around you," he said taking hold off me at my shoulders and waist. "You must be tired, let's get you inside" (Why did I come up with that excuse in the first place?) And with that said, he picked me up and carried me inside, laying me on an incredibly soft queen-sized bed. I was too tired to notice how close our faces were when he was carrying me. "Buona Notte la mia Rosa e Sogni Doro," he said kissing my forehead and turned to go. "Buona Notte Novello," I replied, just before he had a chance to close my door. "Goodnight Rosella," he said with amusement and with that he closed the door, leaving me a victim to dreamland. It's another nightmare, it's always another nightmare. Ever since I turned 16 I've been having nightmares instead of dreams. They're always linked with each other too. This time I'm standing in front of a ruined building which might once have been a mansion. There he is again, covered in blood all over. "Get to Destiny Mansion, break the curse or you can watch how your loved ones die, the Destiny's and De Silva's will run into extinction!" he warned me. It's always the same warning too now that I think about it. The thing that makes this nightmare much more frightening than the others is the fact that Hugo had suddenly appeared in my nightmare. I didn't like what was coming next and I tried to wake up as fast as possible. "Imagine losing the boy you had fallen in love with, you don't want that now do you?" he continued. And the next thing I knew Hugo was bleeding from the inside out. "No!" I screamed.
