" Fine" I spat as Hannah's grip tightened on me as I looked back at her only to send her a cheeky wink with a nod in reply. I began to walk forward towards Alpha Caine who had a dark grin on his face which was about to get ripped off. I smiled as his face turned into sudden confusion as I grabbed the girls arm only to push her back to Hannah.

I pounced on Alpha Caine who was in shock. I bet he didn't see this coming I thought as i clawed his face. He pushed me back sending me crashing to the ground. I grunted lifting myself only to fall. I looked up to see Hannah and the girl sprinting for there lives with Alpha Caine in pursuit. I jumped to my feet sprinting after the monster ultimately tackling him to the ground as if in a rugby match.

He smash his fist in my face and picked me up by my collar ,as I looked towards Hannah who had just reached safety along with the girl. I smiled knowing that he couldn't hurt me anymore. He thrown me against the rock hard wall showing no mercy raising me against it ,holding me off of the ground by my neck as I struggled for air fighting the darkness which wanted to engulf me.

That's when I saw pure rage in his eyes. I never saw such a thing before and not aimed at me. His eyes were red. His teeth were gritted together. He was fuming and I knew I wouldn't make it out alive. That's when I saw the stone cold killer ready to take another life.

"How dare you challenge me! I am the alpha of all alphas! I am the apex predator of all apex predators! I am the alpha!" He roared as I held on to his arm trying to find some air to take in. His grip tightened on my throat as I gasped of air.

Was this it? Is this where my life ends?

Death. I have occasionally thought about it every now and again.there be light? A gate? Who knows. It's where men have dated to venture but never returned. Some people run from death hoping it will never catch them but it's always there lurking in the shadows awaiting it's next victim to take into oblivion. Other people hide from it, however it still comes knocking at there doors. Sometimes I think about weather it hurts or if it's painless. Then there's the question. The question of what is on the other side once to take the dive into the pool of death. Is it a deep dark void which swallows you whole? Or heaven and hell? One the dead have the answer that many living desire. As for me, now that death is knocking at my door I'm ready. I'm going to greet death with open arms to be taken to a new dimension of mystery.

'No' my wolf sounded as I took my last breath.' it's not our time yet. We have to live for the future'. I tightened my grip on his arm using all the strength I had left in me as he blinked staring at my hand.

His grip on my neck loosened, ultimately sending me to the floor sucking in as much air as possible, practically chocking on it. I looked up at him. He was shocked as I stud up face to face with him. I admit I wanted to kill him but that would be to kind. I pushed him to the ground sending him rolling across the ground. Wait that shouldn't have happened I don't have enough strength so why was that so easy?

"See this is why I had chosen you Ash. You are special I can feel it pumping throw your veins boy. All that alpha blood. I see potential." he smiled as mind got bombarded with questions.

"What?! I don't have alpha blood what are you talking about" I snapped extremely confused. If I have alpha blood then that means that I'm a son of an alpha. This could be the first lead to finding my parents!

"Yes you do pup and I know whos" he grinned as I snarled. Why did he have to have the answers?! Out of all people him! 'His wolf is on edge' my wolf whispered to me as I growled.

"Who then since you have all the answers" I asked still on high alert from attack considering I am surrounded.

"Hahaha Ash like I would really tell you the answer to solve all your problems. Besides you wouldn't want anything to do with them if I told you, in fact you would run in the opposite direction to them" He chuckled making me growl in frustration. I don't like games and I don't think I'm going to play this deadly one.

My vision became blurred and fuzzy.Something was happening to me and it hurt. I grabbed my head falling to the ground. It was like someone was in my head destroying it from inside.

"What's happening to me?!" I roared in pain as he looked at me in fear. He stumbled backwards to his feet as I screamed in agony. It felt like someone was squeezing my head, slowly crushing it.

"No, no it can't be. Y-you can't b-" he gasped staring at me as I roared in pain. Bloody tears trickled down my face and blood began to pour from my ears as my wolf whimpered. Why did my wolf tell me to keep fighting if i was going to go through this? I knew I shouldn't have listened to him.

"ARRRRHHH!!!!" I growled as my stomach done summer salts. I gasped for air with the evil monster over the top of me. My chest rising only I fall again and again. My heart squeezed as if in another's hands. My hands and face screwed up trying to cope with the pain. Did I even want to live? Why do all this if I didn't want to live? I gaged of air as my vision began to fail. Then I felt myself slowly begin to slip away.....but my wolf didn't want to he kept fighting. I gritted my teeth only to let out my last roar.

Then I was suddenly in the woods clueless to how I got there.I was back to where it all started........ The night I got bitten.
