"It's been 20 minuets. I'm going to get her start loading the car please" I asked as she began to put the luggage in. I headed to Skylers apartment but nothing. It was empty. I looked around to see claw marks on the walls and on the floor which put my wolf on full alert. What could have possibly happened?

I walked back out worried sick about Skyler. She had been there throw the bad times and now she was missing....i had to help her, it's the least I can do. I ran my fingers throw my brown hair and began to think deeply. Where else could she be? Her bag were still in her room so she had to come back sooner or later.

"Hannah?" I spoke in my phone hoping for a reply. I began to pace with worry as my nerves began to kick in full throttle.

"Hey Ash have you found Skyler yet? it's beginning to get dark" Hannah questioned as I took a deep breath and began to form a plan.

"No. Can you come and wait in her room just in case she comes back please and I'll go get Brad. If by then she isn't back then I'll start looking" I ordered although I didn't like to do it much as Im not really a bossy person.

"Okay then I'm on my way" She replied as I smiled wondering if I was playing my part right.

"Thanks Hannah" I stated before hanging up but as I turned I bumped into Riley again. She fell to the floor as I offered her a hand. She looked up at me surprised then cautiously took my hand with slight heistation. I didn't like the effect I was having on people lately it seemed like they were scared or curious.

"Sorry" I chuckled as she blushed." it seems like we have been bumping into each other a lot lately" I added handing her book back. She smiled and twiddled with her fingers before looking back up to me.

"Yeah it seems so" She smiled as i smiled back." How about you, me and a nice dinner" She blushed as I lifted my right eye brow in curiosity.

"I wish I could go on a date with such a beautiful girl like you but I'm leaving today" I sighed rubbing my head as she blushed in embarrassment.

"Oh um okay are you coming back?" She asked staring into my eyes.

"Depends on weather I lie long enough to" I chuckled as she looked at me with concern. I looked past her to see Brad approaching me with Hannah by his side.

"Well it was nice meeting you again Riley and I hope I'll see you again" I smiled as she blushed. I walked over to Hannah and Brad who looked just as worried as I was.

"Any luck?" I asked hoping she had been seen at leased once but the both shook there heads. I sighed opening the door.

"Don't worry she's bound to turn up at some point. We can just set out tomorrow and start then" Brad smiled giving me reassurance but all I wanted to do was find Skyler. Hannah coughed and gestured behind me. I turned around to see Riley dazing up at me.

"Sorry can I speak to you in private please" She asked as Hannah and Brad entered Skylers room leaving me and Riley.

"Sure what's up?" I asked winding what she wanted to talk about.

"Look I know who you are and I want in. I haven't seen another alpha like you" She explained as I was bewildered at how she found out.

"How did you?" I questioned as she blushed and smiled.

"Ash your practically radiating power. I'm mean I saw it Alpha Caine oozing it but not as much as you. Your more powerful than you think and how you treat others puts you at an advantage an I want to be in your pack" She stated as I analysed her. She was clever and sneaky, I could use that but the moon goddess ordered me not to create a pack.

"Sorry but I'm not going to start a pack" I replied as she looked confused.

"But your so powerful why not?!" She questioned looking at me then biting her lip.

"Because I'm going to help other packs first before I start my own. I'm the true alpha so it's my job and I'm under strict instructions" I explained as she nodded twisting her foot.

"Your the true alpha?! Let me help please Ash please!" She begged as I stud confused whilst she gave me puppy eyes.

"No I'm already taking another 3 people with me. It's too dangerous I'm already risking lives without having another to it. Look I can't save you all so no" I stated as she sighed and flipped her hair from her face with a unhappy look on it.

"Ash we need all the people we can get. Let her come with us, she knows the risks" Hannah butted in leaning against the door with Brad nodding in agreement.

I sighed looking back to Riley." Fine " I gave in as she smiled and Hannah hugged her.

"We'll explain everything to her whilst you look for Skyler" Hannah smiled hugging me as they all went into Skylers room. I phoned Skylers cell but it went straight to voice mail. Where was she?!

I strided down the hall to outside and it was pitch black. I turned on my vision making everything red and like hd sort of. I ran to the woods to her special spot where she would stay most of the time and found her lying next to the lake. I sprinted over terrified if she was hurt or something.

"Skyler! Skyler are you okay?!" I asked quickly noticing a small dart in her neck. I picked it out looking at it and realised it wasn't no ordinary dart.....it was laced with wolfs bane.

"Skyler? Skyler look at me please! Open those beautiful eyes Skyler and show me your okay" I grabbed her body shaking her for a response but nothing came. I began to sprint out of the woods knowing someone was watching my every move.

Then something pieced into my back making me stumble slightly. It began to burn my insides painfully, however I had been injected over and over with this stuff so it was easy for me to carry on. This was nothing compared to what I have had in the past. Then another pieced my calf as I gritted my teeth and continued. I finally got out of the woods to the field and sprinted with Skyler in my arms scared that the poison was taking hold of her.

I finally reached the first aid office and placed her on the table. "help her!" I commanded as the nurse rushed to Skylers side.

"What was it?!" The nurse asked checking Skyler. I watched her every move and hope that Skyler would be okay.

"Wolf bane. As far as I can tell its a dose of 10 ml" I answered pulling the dart from my leg analysing it closely. It seemed to me like somebody set it up. Almost planted Skyler there for me to find. They must have known a lot about me and Skyler which meant it was a student.

"Okay she'll have to try and sweat it out. It'll be painful but she should be okay within the next week or two. Unless you can find a alpha to heal her then it'll be a day " The nurse declared as I moved a strand of hair from her face.

"Say if I knew an alpha. How could they heal her?" I questioned as she stared as Skyler who was gripping the bed with sweat pouring out of her.

"They would place there hand on there body and take away any pain and give some of there healing powers which would speed up the process" The nurse explained as I leaned down to Skyler.

"I'm going to take the pain away Skyler okay so just hold on, everything is going to be okay" I whispered in her ear." Will it hurt ?" I asked the women as she stared at me studying me.

"It will hurt the alpha more than her. It's never been done before but it will work. The alpha will take her pain" She replied as I sucked in a deep breath. 'let's do it' my wolf ordered as I prepared myself for her pain.
