I got to Dickens room. I felt a wave of memories hit me. When I came for help and when I first met him. It all flashed before my eyes. Was I really dieing? I knocked twice with the usual come in from Dickens. I walked in closing the door behind me.

"How may I he-" He began before turning to me. He's eyes filled with light as he came up and hugged me tight.

"We all thought you were dead! How did you even escape?!" Dickens began as I cut him off.

"Dickens sit down I need to tell you something" I replied gesturing towards a seat.

"What?" He asked with a worried look as he fell back into his chair hoping for good news but I think he knew deep down it was bad.

"I was torchered and broke down into a cold stone warrior ready for battle. Until I was saved by two kind souls and dragged to safety. The was a crash. One of them died and the other and myself were in a coma like state for 4 months. I have found out that I can't be fixed" I explained as he gives me a confused look.

"What do you mean you can't be fixed" He snapped angry with what horror I had been through the past year.

"I mean that my soul has become so torchered that my wolf is going to take over" I answered as he realised the truth. I didn't have long left and this was me saying goodbye.

"How long?" He sighed trying to fight back the tears.

"5 or 6 days maybe a week at the most" I replied wondering how to comfort him at all.

"Oh Ash what have you got yourself into?" He cried. I was now wondering how my past self would act or what he would even say. I admit I was clueless as hell.

"Uh it's okay it's on me?" I guessed putting on a fake smile as he wiped the tears from his face. "So what's been happening here whilst I was gone?"

"We found Brandon's body and guessed that Alpha Caine ripped you part but I think we all secretly knew that he took you. As for your mates and yes I found out, they are both happy" He explained as I sat there emotionless wondering how to act now.

"Sera is with her ex still" He added lowly as if I was about to explode but I didn't I just sat there as if I didn't careless.

"Is he treating her well?" I questioned looking towards the ground as something sparked inside of me.

"Yes he is and she seems happy Ash. I suggest you don't see either of your mates and just go once you said you goodbye to everyone else but not them. If you want to do this right then you won't see them" Dickens implied patting my back as he sat besides me.

"I know your not yourself Ash. Usually your a really good guy but now your just..... I don't even know. I'm really sorry" he added as I got up and camouflaged myself to be another face in the crowd.

"Don't worry Dickens I won't do anything stupid" I replied as I closed the door and saw Sera down the hall. I sped my pace up and evacuated the building as if it was on fire. Why was she in the vampire block? I wondered as I turned my head to see. She was going to Dickens.

I proceeded to walk and checked my phone to see Skylers text room 78 block 1 of the werewolves. I headed over to see Kristen talking to Miss kings. This is going to be hard I thought as i kept my head down and past them. I felt them stare for several seconds then carry on. That was close my wolf snapped as I got to room 78.

Knock knock. "Where the hell have you been?!" Skyler snapped pulling me in the room."I was just going out to get you"

"Uh sorry?" I fake smiled as she punched me playfully in the arm.

"Don't do that bullshit with me Ash. So like my room?" She asked as I looked around at her now purple room."Never mind Terminator" She tapped my chest and entered the bathroom to get changed into her pjs.

"So you tired?" She asked yawning her head off as she climbed into bed.

"No I think im just going to sit here thinking" I sat in her desk chair as she pulled her duvet over her and snuggled up into a small ball.

"Suit yourself Mr Terminator.Oh yeah wake me up at 9 ish if your still awake" She yawned before slipping into a trance like sleep.

I sighed putting my hands to my head wondering about death. Would it be good or bad? Death. It's always lurking there in the shadows awaiting it's next victim to take into oblivion. Where no man has every returned for the deep dark consuming void.Some people run from it, some people hide from it hoping to never be found. As for me I'll welcome it with open arms.
