I took Kristen to first aid, they gave me some wipes and told me to go back and sort myself out. Kristen got a ice pack but still needed to be carried. The nurse said that she should be healed by late tomorrow.

"Can't believe we won" I chuckled with her in my arms again.

"Tell me about it and thanks for helping me Ash" She beamed as we met up with the rest of the group who were still watching the task.

"Hey guys, nurse patch you up?" Becca asked as the rest of the group watched the task.

"No she gave me some stuff and told me to go for a swim" I answered"Kristen should be healed by tomorrow"

"Good to know" She smiled as the games finished and we all started heading back. I carried Kristen through the woods as the rest all sprinted off back to camp to give the good news. I don't know why but I didn't want anyone else carrying Kristen or even touching her, my wolf would rip them to bits.

"I think you'll be on fire duty tonight when we are on watch" I laughed.

"Hahaha probably" She giggled as we reached camp. I placed her on the log next to the fire so she wouldn't get cold.

I grabbed my towel and headed for the lake for a much needed wash. I was filthy.

"Where you going?" Kristen asked as she grabbed my hand.

"For a wash. Don't worry I'll be back in 30 minuets tops" I smiled as I walked towards the lake.

I finally got there. It was calm, peaceful and everything I needed to clear my head. I took off my shirt and jeans so I was only in my pants. I decided to climb the rocks and dive in. The water was warm, clear, refreshing. I went up for air only to submerge back to the dark depths of the lake. The air was cold and the water was warm.

I swam back up for air sending a ripple effect across the small lake.

"Hey" Sera surprised me as she sat down at the edge of the lake smiling.

"Hey" I swam over to her as the water glided past my body.

"How are you? Why haven't you talked to me since you came to my room?" I asked in concern.

"I'm okay and I haven't talked to you lately because it's hard" she answered as I smiled up at her.

"Why is it hard?" I question wondering why I was so hard to approach lately.

"It's embarrassing Ash. I was stupid to ask to stay over. I'm stupid" She sighed as she put her head in her hands.

"Hey it wasn't I would of said yes but I didn't want to split you and your boyfriend up. Don't you ever call yourself stupid ever again cause you aren't!" I stroked her cheek as she smiled at me.

"We have now split up. It wasn't working anyway if he isn't my mate" She smiled as I got out of the water and grabbed my stuff.

"Your back!" She cried as she immediately got out of the water to see my injuries.

"It's nothing. I'll be fine" I smiled at her concern as she examined my back. I turned around to see her face.

"It doesn't look like nothing have you saw the nurse?" She asked watching me dry off my soaking wet body. I gestured for her to turn around but she took no notice.

"Yeah she said I'll be fine" I laughed as I put on my trousers.

"Well as long as your okay" She smiled as I put on my shirt. She hugged me tight and I hugged her back trying to contain my wolf.

"I better get back to my team" I chuckled as we stopped hugging.

"Oh and who was that girl you carried?" She asked grabbing my biceps stopping me.

"That was Kristen why?" I answered turning back to face her.

"Do you like her or something?!" She questioned trying to contain her jealousy but I could tell.

"Well she is hot but I don't know maybe" I decided to keep her on edge. She snarled and growled at me.

"Well I don't like her" She snapped and I laughed she looked so cute when she got angry.

"Don't worry it's not like she's my mate" I laughed as she pulled her serious face.

"Bye Sera" I leaned down and kiss her cheek softly.

"Bye" She smiled as I walked off back to the camp.

I felt something watching me walk back which made me uncomfortable. I finally reached camp still feeling like I was being watched.

"Hey had a nice swim??" Kristen smiled still where i put her.

"Eerr yeah" I answered looking around.

"We are on first watch right?" I asked as my eyes darted from place to place.

"Yeah calm down Ash. We got new people coming in from the trade as well. Natalie and Callum have been traded" Kristen explained reassuring me.

"Okay" I smiled" I'm going to scout the area I'll be back in abit"

I walked about checking the area for any signs of trespassers and then once my three hours were up I went back to camp and fell into a deep unwinding sleep.
