Chapter 15: The news report
Eggman walked into the Krusty Krab, feeling nervous and excited. He had a mission to complete, and he couldn't afford to mess it up. He had been hired by Plankton to steal the secret formula for the Krabby Patty, and he couldn't wait to get his hands on it.
As he walked up to the counter, he noticed a strange man standing behind it. The man was short and rotund, with a bushy red beard and beady eyes. He was wearing a sailor hat and a striped shirt, and he was smiling at Eggman in a way that made him feel uneasy.
"Welcome to the Krusty Krab, my good man," the man said, his voice oozing with charm. "I'm the Charming Mr. Krabs, owner of this fine establishment. How may I help you today?"
Eggman hesitated, not sure how to respond. He didn't want to reveal his true purpose, but he also didn't want to arouse suspicion. He decided to play it cool.
"Uh, hi there," Eggman said, forcing a smile. "I was just wondering if you have any specials today. I'm in the mood for something tasty."
"Why of course we do!" Mr. Krabs exclaimed, his eyes lighting up. "We have the best Krabby Patties in town, made with the secret formula that has been passed down for generations. You won't find anything like it anywhere else."
Eggman's ears perked up at the mention of the secret formula. This was exactly what he had been looking for. He decided to take a chance.
"That sounds delicious," Eggman said, trying to sound sincere. "I'll have one of them."
"Coming right up," Mr. Krabs said, grinning from ear to ear. He turned to the kitchen and shouted, "One Krabby Patty for our new friend here!"
Eggman watched as Mr. Krabs prepared the Krabby Patty, trying to get a glimpse of the secret formula. But Mr. Krabs was too fast, and Eggman couldn't see anything. He knew he had to come up with a new plan.
As he waited for his Krabby Patty, Eggman noticed a TV on the wall playing the news. He turned his attention to it and saw a report about a gruesome crime scene at a local fish family's house. The whole family had been brutally murdered, and the police had no leads.
Eggman felt a shiver run down his spine. He had never seen anything like this before. He couldn't believe that something so violent could happen in a place like Bikini Bottom.
"Here you go, sir," Mr. Krabs said, interrupting Eggman's thoughts. He placed a Krabby Patty in front of Eggman, who looked at it hungrily. He knew he couldn't resist.
As he took a bite, Eggman couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. The Krabby Patty was delicious, unlike anything he had ever tasted before. He couldn't believe he had been missing out on it all these years.
But as he finished his meal, Eggman knew he couldn't stay. He had a job to do, and he couldn't afford to get sidetracked. He thanked Mr. Krabs and left the Krusty Krab, determined to find a way to get his hands on the secret formula.
As he walked down the street, Eggman couldn't shake the feeling of unease he had about the murdered fish family. He knew he had to do something to help. He made a mental note to tell Plankton about it and see if they could find any leads.
Eggman knew he had a lot of work to do, but he was determined to see it through. He had a feeling that this was just the beginning of a long and dangerous journey.
Everyone in Bikini Bottom was huddled around their TVs, watching the news report about the dead fish family. They couldn't believe what they were seeing. It was like something out of a horror movie.
Lily sat on her couch, her eyes glued to the screen. She couldn't believe that something like this could happen in her town. She felt a sense of fear and anxiety wash over her.
"Who could have done something like this?" she whispered to herself.
Waluigi, who was sitting next to her, shook his head. "I don't know, but it's sickening," he said, his voice filled with disgust.
Spongebob, who was watching from his own couch, felt a sense of sadness wash over him. He knew the fish family, and he couldn't believe they were gone. He wiped a tear from his eye.
"This is terrible," Spongebob said, his voice trembling. "I can't believe they're gone."
Patrick, who was sitting next to him, nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it's really sad," he said, his voice somber.
Squidward, who was sitting on his own couch, tried to hide his guilt. He knew he was the one who had killed the fish family, but he couldn't let anyone know. He kept his face expressionless and his eyes fixed on the TV.
Sonic, who was sitting on his own couch, couldn't believe what he was seeing. He had never seen anything like this before. He felt a sense of outrage wash over him.
"This is outrageous," Sonic said, his voice filled with anger. "Someone needs to be brought to justice for this."
As they watched the news report, everyone in Bikini Bottom felt a sense of shock and disbelief. They couldn't believe that something like this could happen in their town. They knew they had to do something to help, and they vowed to find the person responsible and bring them to justice.
