Percy groggily opened his eyes, looking around, not knowing what to expect. He sat upright in a rush, rubbing the sleepiness from his eyes. His mind went active almost instantly, which in turn sent a bit of adrenaline coursing though his veins which woke him up from his semi sleepy state. Percy awoke in an alleyway. Multiple tall buildings were surrounding him, car horns were blaring left right front and center.

Percy was a bit confused as to what was happening. He stood up and dusted the dirt from his shirt and looked around. Percy tried to think of things to do. He was absolutely stumped on what to do next. Percy slowly recalled all of the past lives he lived. It was the first thing that would happen whenever he was reincarnated, he would remember his past lives. Percy instantly shut those memories from his mind, trying not to remember those painful memories. Percy lived and died for as long as he could remember. Yet, each one, each lifetime was still as clear as day for Percy's mind.

Percy remembered almost every detail of those fateful days. The days where he would get his heart broken, again, and again, and again. Percy was lying if he said he was used to it by now. Percy tried to not fall in love, he really did. He tried everything he could to stop falling in love. But it just kept happening, he kept falling, again, and again, and again. You'd think Percy's heart would learn, yet it never did.

Percy came to appreciate his curse of silence over his lifetimes. At first he hated it. Now he was thankful for it. It gave him the freedom of not having to speak about his feelings, his emotions, the turmoil inside him. Percy couldn't release, and he was glad he couldn't. Percy didn't want anyone to worry for him, he was bound to die anyway. No use in caring for a dead man.

Percy's thoughts were interrupted when he was shoved to the ground with no warning whatsoever. Percy yelped and fell to the ground with a small thud. Percy could feel a sudden weight pressed up against his back.

"Ow."

Percy widened his eyes and looked behind him seeing a sprawl of brown hair across him. The person stood up brushing the hair from her face. It was a female. Percy widened his eyes, his heart pounding from his chest, he instantly knew what was going on, it was just like before. The girl looked around worried, Percy still not getting a good look on her.

"Sorry about that." The girl said, lending Percy a hand. Percy gladly accepted it and hoisted himself up to a stand. Percy dusted off the dust from his shirt and turned towards the girl who was looking around, panicked.

She had shoulder length brown hair, cerulean blue eyes and porcelain skin. She had a relatively slim figure that seemed hint that she was physically fit. She wore a simple orange shirt paired with a green blazer that was rolled up to her sleeves and dark blue jeans. She turned towards Percy in a hurry.

"Um, I'm sorry for bumping into you all of a sudden, but I really have to go, like, right now." She said in a hurried voice. Out of the corner of the alleyway, multiple monsters ran out, looking around the area and locking target on the two. The girl gulped as Percy widened his eyes in surprise. The girl made a small glance towards Percy and saw his shocked face.

"You can see them?" The girl asked, Percy gave a small nod. The girl sighed and grabbed Percy by the forearm and took of running with Percy tailing behind her, almost tripping on multiple occasions. Percy gasped silently, tripping on another stone on the pavement. Multiple people were staring at the two with a weird glance then went back to their normal everyday lives.

The girl yanked on Percy's forearm and pushed him against the wall on the nearby alleyway, hiding them from sight from the nearby monsters. Percy could feel the breath of this mysterious girl beside him as she carefully peeked around the corner to see if the monsters were following them. Surprisingly, they weren't. The girl stopped, looking at Percy dead in the eyes.

"Okay, so how old are you?" The girl asked, Percy didn't know how to respond to that question. He was a thousand years old. Percy simply made a one and an eight, eighteen, or at least, that was what Percy looked like. The girl widened her eyes.

"Eighteen and you still haven't been escorted to Camp Half-Blood?" She said with wide eyes, Percy looked at her with raised eyebrows.

Camp Half-Blood?

"Okay, so I can't exactly brief you in on everything right now, but I'll do a quick rundown." She said exasperated, peeking around the corner to see if there were monsters nearby.

"Basically the Greek gods are real, well, not just Greek gods but let's focus on my pantheon right now."

"Zeus Poseidon Hades, all of them are real. They have these affairs with mortals which then results to demigods, half mortal, half god." She explained.

"If gods are real, then that means monsters are too, those were the things that were chasing us earlier."

"You got that?" She said, staring right at Percy's eyes. Percy nodded weakly, trying to act like he hasn't encountered a monster in his lives ever.

"Good, we better get moving, it's getting more and more dangerous as the days go by." She stated, peeking around the corner to see if the coast was clear.

"Let's go."

She grabbed Percy arm and dashed through the streets as the monsters were looking around the alleyway for the two. As Percy was running he couldn't help but notice the buildings. Humanity has really advanced throughout the decades, it felt like only yesterday they were using swords, now they were extremely advanced. Not super advanced, but advanced enough to not use swords anymore. Percy shook his head, he felt really old now, he felt like a Boomer.

The girl came to a slow jog, nearing a small run down warehouse that seemed to be abandoned for an extremely long time. The girl let go of Percy's forearm as he rubbed it in slight pain, feeling a red spot form around it. The girl beckoned Percy to follow her which Percy felt was really weird. They've only met for a few minutes and already he's being asked to follow her. Percy nonetheless obliged and walked inside the warehouse, looking around warily for any signs of monsters.

"Okay guys, I'm back, you can come out now." She shouted. As if by magic, multiple torches lit up around the warehouse, giving the place some light. Percy could see the silhouette of two people waiting there with a small smirk. They stared at the girl beside Percy with a bright smile.

"So, what happened?" One of the two asked, her voice sounded feminine.

"I couldn't find more demigods, but I found him." The girl said, pointing towards Percy. Percy smiled weakly, raising his hand in the air with little to no force. There were three of them, Percy noted. One of them is a male, two were females.

"Oh, right."

"This might be confusing since we haven't introduced ourselves yet." The girl said, the one that Percy bumped into.

"I'm Elizabeth by the way, sorry for dragging you around the city." She said sheepishly with a small smile. Percy rubbed his forearm subconsciously.

"My friend here, her names Gillian." The girl named Elizabeth stated, pointing at the girl beside her. She had black hair and had a pretty tan skin, she wore a purple shirt along with simple jeans.

"And last but not least, this is Lynn." Elizabeth introduced. Percy stared at the other boy of the group. Lynn wore a simple orange shirt with a brown jacket, topping it off with black pants. He had deep purple eyes and chocolate brown hair along with pale white skin. Along with that he had a slim figure to match his jacket. The two shared glances, as if examining each other from head to toe. It felt like two lions were assessing each other for potential weaknesses.

"And you are?" Gillian asked, turning to Percy.

"Percival." Lynn blurted out of the blue. The two turned towards him with a raised eyebrow. Elizabeth turned back to Percy with a questioning glance to which Percy just nodded.

"How did you know?" Elizabeth asked, turning to Lynn.

"Look at his shirt, it's says it right there, written in cursive." Lynn stated. Indeed it was written on Percy's shirt.

"Anyways, this might be all confusing to you, I'm guessing you haven't been properly introduced to the Greek or Roman world yet have you?" Gillian said, turning towards Percy. Percy gave a small shrug to which Lynn gave a slight eye roll and sat down on a nearby stool.

"It's basically what I said to you before. Do you want a more detailed explanation or is that ok with you, because that's basically what it is, monsters out here trying to kill demigods, and the gods doing nothing but sitting in their thrones doing Hades knows what." Elizabeth complained. Percy gave a small nod. Lynn made a small sighe to which he got a glare from Gillian. Percy too stared at Lynn with a small almost unnoticeable glare.

"You guys finished?" Lynn said with a bit of sarcasm. Percy glared daggers behind Lynn's back. Elizabeth rolled her eyes and turned towards Gillian.

"I've got something to discuss with you, Lynn you're in charge for now." Elizabeth said, turning towards Lynn. He nodded, rolling his eyes. Gillian turned towards Lynn and gave him a light death stare.

"Don't be rough on the new guy, if you do, you're dead to me." Gillian said, leaving both Percy and Lynn alone on the warehouse. For the two girls, it felt like two atomic bombs were introduced to each other and were about to explode. Percy watched as the two walked out of the warehouse to discuss something that was out of their hearing range. Percy gave off a small sigh and turned towards Lynn. Percy gave him the middle finger to which Lynn laughed.

"Holy shit dude, you're alive! Again!" Lynn said with a laugh. Percy chuckled too.

"You almost blew my cover you little bastard." Percy signed. Lynn chuckled.

"They aren't going to find out." Lynn assured.

"Who would believe you're the actual Percival and I'm the actual Merlin." He chuckled.

"Also, Lynn? That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard, bitch you just got Merlin and removed the Mer." Percy signed angrily.

"I was under a lot of pressure okay, at least it's better than Mer." Merlin said between chuckles. Percy couldn't help but give a silent laugh.

"How did you know it was me?"

"Bitch please, I've known you for a hundred or more years, I'd recognize you even if you were a fucking rat." Percy signed

"Good point." Merlin said with a slight nod.

"So how's life?"

Percy gave the middle finger.

"Oh shit, I forgot." Merlin said with wide eyes. Percy rolled his eyes.

"No I didn't, just wanted to piss you off." Merlin said with a mischievous grin.

The two heard the footsteps of the two and instantly stopped talking. They took one last glance with each other and went back to their normal persona. It seemed like nothing even happened in the first place. The two girls looked at each other and gave a slight shrug and turned towards the two.

"So, Lynn, you have noticed the sudden spike in monster attacks right?" Gillian asked, Merlin nodded.

"Elizabeth and I thought it best that we can scan the perimeter and find the remaining demigods whilst Elizabeth returns Percival back to Camp Half-Blood." She stated, Merlin gave a small nod and stood up, stretching a bit.

"Alright, we better go, the sun is about to set, we don't want to reach nightfall now do we?" Lynn said turning towards Percy. The three nodded.

"Let's go Percival, we better move, Gillian and Lynn will take care of the other demigods." Elizabeth said beckoning Percy forward. Percy nodded and followed, giving Merlin a cheeky middle finger to which Merlin returned the favor with the same gesture.

The two walked silently. Elizabeth taking the lead, and Percy following. Percy just looked around, taking in all of the things humans had to offer. It was extremely weird to jump from one decade to another, so Percy had to take his time to readjust.

"So, um." Elizabeth said, not really knowing where to spark up a conversation. Percy turned, looking at her with a raised eyebrow.

"Gods I dunno where to start." She said, chuckling nervously. Percy smiled a little.

"What did you do for the first eighteen years of your life?" She blurted out, not really knowing what to say. Percy didn't know how to answer that either. Since he literally couldn't. Percy merely pointed at his throat and tried to say something but couldn't. The classic indication that he couldn't speak. As time went on, as he lived, and died over and over again. The Seal of Silence worsened, at first he could grunt, sigh, and gasp. Now, he couldn't, he was now fully mute.

Elizabeth gave a slow nod of acknowledgement.

"Do you know sign language?" She signed. Percy immediately lit up and nodded.

"Yes I do." Percy signed back. Percy didn't know a lot of people who knew sign language, she was one of the first. Elizabeth smiled.

"So that's why you were so silent." Elizabeth observed. Percy gave a slight nod.

-------------------------

"I can see the borders from here." Elizabeth shouted from atop the hill, her face lighting up with excitement. Percy was curious as to what this camp was.

"Come on, let's go." She said, running towards the borders. Percy signed silently and jogged right behind her. Elizabeth ran to the border as Percy jogged behind her when a large force of wind sent them flying back. The two falling onto the ground with a thud. Percy shook his head groggily and stared at the borders, not knowing what happened. Elizabeth too was confused and didn't know what the hell happened.

Out of nowhere a monster slowly started to form. Making a small cyclone of wind surrounding its body. The monster itself had body that was pure white along sharp claws and pointy teeth. To add on to that, it had a pair of glowing icy blue eyes to match. Percy widened his eyes and stared at the monster in shock. Elizabeth too was surprised by the sudden appearance of the monster.

"Shit, shit shit." Elizabeth cursed, it was the first time he heard her swear.

"No fucking way." Elizabeth said with wide eyes. Percy turned to her.

"That's a Phalenux."

"There's only eight in the whole world, they can't be killed by normal weapons. Only by Sacred Objects can they then be harmed." Elizabeth stated. The monster stared at the two, a small smile forming in the monsters face, it's curved teeth showing. Elizabeth shook her head,

"I'm going to try and distract him, whilst I go and do that, run, run as fast as you can inside the borders. Don't look back. I can't kill him, but I can distract him." She said, pulling a celestial bronze sword from her scabbard.

•Flashback•

"Hey Percival, come look at this." Arthur beckoned. Percy raised an eyebrow and saw Arthur's figure retreating into the woods. Percy sighed and followed his friend. Percy came to a halt when he saw Arthur inside a clearing, staring at the center of it. Percy raised an eyebrow.

"What drove Arthur to this clearing?" Percy thought

"What the hell is that?" Arthur said, turning towards the middle of the clearing. There in the clearing seemed to be a medium sized stone. But it wasn't the stone that was the turning piece. A sword was embedded onto it. The two approached it cautiously. Curious as to why there was a random sword there.

"Want to try and lift it?" Arthur asked. Percy shrugged. Arthur grabbed the hilt of the sword and tugged at it. But it wouldn't budge.

"Aw, can't lift it." Arthur commented. Percy rolled his eyes and went to Arthur's place and tried pulling it out. The sword came loose almost instantly. Percy was surprised at how light it was. Percy examined the sword, it was a fine blade for sure. He gave off a small shrug and tossed it to Arthur. He caught it with wide eyes, looking at Percy with a weird face.

"Mate, you can sense it too right? Why'd you give it to me?" Arthur asked. Genuinely confused as to why Percy was giving it to him.

Percy shrugged, he was never really a fan of power, he never sought it out. If it was presented to Percy with a choice, to either keep it or give it. He would give it, freely.

----------------------

"Didn't think I would go out this way." Arthur said choking a little. Blood leaking from his wounds. Percy looked at his friend, teary eyed.

"But it had to be done, to save Camelot." Arthur croaked out. He turned towards Percy with a small smile.

"Here, take this, as a parting gift." Arthur said, slowly grabbing a golden bracelet from his hand at handing it to Percy.

"Keep it. As king I order you to." Arthur commanded, pushing the bracelet to Percy, Percy could do nothing but obey, it was his friends dying wish. Percy sobbed silently.

"It was yours to begin with. I'm only giving back what's rightfully yours." Arthur choked out.

"Goodbye, old friend."

•End Flashback•

Elizabeth was sent flying, landing right next to Percy. She was all bloodied and bruised. She looked beaten up, really beaten up.

"We can't win, this is a battle we cannot escape from." Elizabeth said, turning towards Percy. He was having a mental break down. He knew what to do, he just didn't know if he could do it. It felt like he was digging up his past, a past he still hasn't gotten over. Percy balled his fist, his knuckles turning white, his nails digging into the palm of his hands. Percy sighed, he needed to. He knew he couldn't die, the curse forbid him from dying so early on. But it was Elizabeth, he wouldn't let an innocent soul die, even if he knew it would hurt himself mentally, he had to do it.

Percy approached the monster with a stern look on his face. The monster staring at Percy with a look of surprise.  It cackled in response, as if insulting Percy.

"Ah, a brave one." The monster said in a deep rough voice.

"You'll be the first one to die." The monster grunted, raising its claws to strike.

"Don't." Elizabeth shouted, turning to Percy..

"Stop!"

"Percival, you're going to fucking die!" Elizabeth said screaming at Percy at the top of her lungs. She couldn't stand up, she was too beaten up to even stand, all she could do was shout. Percy turned to her, giving a small lopsided grin and a wink.

The monster turned to Percy, bloodlust evident in his eyes. The monster licked its lips as if his mouth was watering for his next meal. The monster pulled its claws out, ready to dish out the killing blow.

"Brace yourself, you death is immine-."

Slash

The monster was sent to the ground with a thud, clutching his chest in pain. His chest that used to be snow white was now covered in yellow ichor. Elizabeth widened her eyes, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. The monster too was in complete shock. Percy clutched a sword in his hand, seeming to appear out of nowhere, gleaming and glittering in the sunlight. The sword was made out of pure gold with intricate carvings along the blade. The bracelet that Percy had was now gone, instead transforming into a sword.

"Wait, no, that's impossible." The monster said backing away. Percy turned to the monster, a serious look in his face. A scabbard hand crafted for the sword itself was appearing in Percy's back.

"No way." Elizabeth said with wide eyes. She looked at Percy with straight awe. Percy turned to his sword, memories of his past suddenly flooding him like a tsunami. The blade had ancient Celtic runes running along the dangerous edge of the sword. Percy could still read it perfectly, even after all these years. Even after thousands of decades. It was still as clear as day.

Hey guys.
Been quite a while hasn't it. So yeah, this is the start of the new arc I was talking about. This is one of the chapters I was most excited about. It is actually one of the first scenes I thought of while writing the sort of plot for this book, so yeah, I was extremely pumped to be writing this. The only problem was, my procrastination. Yeah, I didn't really have the energy and willpower to do this, I don'teven know why.

As most of you can probably tell. The start of this arc, yes the whole arc is more action packed than the other arcs. Yeah, I'm diving head first into this arc, this will arguably be the most exciting arc to write about since I have massive plans going on for this arc. The Arthurian arc had a pretty slow start. Crusader arc had a pretty slow start. Whilst this one, I dived head first into the plot.

The reason why most of the arcs were pretty slow and boring was because of world building, I needed to flesh out the story, that's where the brunt of the filler chapters went. This arc, all chapters will probably be story chapters and no fillers, hopefully. Anyways, I don't have much to say other thank thank you.

I worked extremely hard for this chapter so thank you for reading it. My update schedule is still trash, my school is about to start in a week. So dunno if I can get an update now. No promises though. I'll probably update whenever I feel like it. Cause right now, I only have a small idea on where this arc is supposed to go, I only have a vague idea. I need to take my time to flesh out each chapter and make sure each chapter is paced correctly. This is the last arc so I want to make sure I ace it.

Anyways, see you guys on the next chapter which will probably be in 2-3 weeks from now hehe.

Bye.
