Percy smirked, looking at his new garb. He had a cool new white coat that reached up to his boots, his boots were simple combat boots like normal, he wore black gloves along with arm pads to go along with it. Percy requested to not use any armor on him, he felt that armor weighed him down, heck, even when he was in Camelot and was a knight he didn't like to wear armor, he wore a simple yellow tunic, trousers, arm pads, gloves, boots, and that was it, that was his normal garb, no fancy chain mail armor or any of that stuff.

Percy felt that armor weighed him down, he always had a fighting style, relying on his speed mostly, he felt that armor, even the lightest ones, weighed him down, a lot. Percy examined himself, unable to contain the small smirk forming in his lips, he was excited, but the looming memories of Arthur and the rest still lurked beneath Percy. He was still fun loving and outgoing, but something changed, the events, Guinevere, it changed Percy, even if it didn't change Percy as whole, it still left a mark, a scar, a scar the Percy could never forget.

Percy shook his head, looking at Wymer with a small smirk. Wymer himself was looking at Percy with a wide lopsided grin, Percy had his old Royal guard tunic in his other hand, his old sword on his other hand.

"Anyways, follow me, I'll come show you your quarters for now, luckily, were roughly a few steps away from each other." Wymer stated, he was interrupted when a few people with horses walked inside the encampment.

"The king has ordered us to return early, he has yet to inform us why, but it seems we are being recalled." One of the few people announced, murmurs erupting in the crowd of crusaders, Percy turned to Wymer who had a confused look.

"Hmm, that's weird, we're being recalled early." Wymer said with a confused face, Percy turned towards Wymer, asking the silent question of what was happening.

"Oh, as of right now, as of right now, we are amassing numbers for our crusade, this encampment right now, is just a patrol, we're still recruiting, we go out of the capital for a few weeks, at most are months, then we come back and train the new recruits." Wymer explained.

"My guess is that we have filled up almost the entire slots, the king probably recalled us early so they can train the new recruits in a reasonable quantity, I mean, they would have an extremely hard time training roughly three hundred people every patrol, and there are ten patrols all in all, imagine that." Wymer said, shaking his head.

"Now, let's get prepared." Wymer said, patting Percy in the back, as to which Percy rubbed his back painfully, his body was still sore. Percy was still figuring what happened, why he was still alive, he should've been dead by now, he faintly remembered being stabbed, he remembered pain, then coldness, then he felt nothing, everything was blank, until he opened his eyes and here he was, in a land that wasn't Camelot, his mind was gobsmacked, racking his mind, trying I find an answer.

Percy followed Wymer around the place, looking around as people started packing all of the tents and all of their stuff, but what Percy was most curious of was where the stuff was being transported to. Their stuff seemed to disappear out of thin air, yet, no one seemed to be that bothered by it, as if it was a normal occurrence. Percy turned towards Wymer who was fixing his tent, fixing all his clothes, belongings etcetera.

Wymer slowly grabbed a small box in his hand and threw it lazily inside the tent, as if by magic, the tent suddenly disappeared out of thin air, the only thing standing in its place was a small box that could fit in anyone's pocket. Wymer grabbed the box and stuffed it in his coat, yawning a little on the way. Wymer slowly noticed the look on Percy's eyes and started to explain. Even though Percy has experienced magic before, Merlin did all sorts of experiments, one time he accidentally transported the whole of Camelot in another continent, Percy was still surprised to see magic in other places.

"You're probably wondering what this is." Wymer said, grabbing the box in his hand and handing it to Percy, Percy nodded, examining the object.

"It's a magic box, I know not creative, well it's my personal nickname for it." Wymer said with a small chuckle.

"It's like a small storage unit that can store everything, well, not everything but you get the point." Wymer said.

"The people in the Lazarus Order made it." Wymer explained, Percy looked at him confused.

"There are five orders, the Teutonic Order, the Lazarus Order, the Hospitaller Order, the Templar Order, and the Sepulchre Order." Wymer explained. (These are actual orders but I changed the name up a bit to make it more fitting into the story, also this is not accurate to history, not everything is accurate to history, some of it I made up, some are actual real life events.)

"You can either sign up in the Teutonic Order, the Lazarus Order, the Hospitaller Order, or the Sepulchre Order, after the orientation you can switch orders if you want, but I'm guessing you're going to remain as a Teutonic Knight?" Wymer asked, Percy nodded.

"Well the Hospitaller Order are the medics of this, the Teutonic Order is the brunt of the military, the Sepulchre Order is responsible for the archers, and the Lazarus Order is for the people who would like to be sorcerers." Wymer explained.

"Basically this box right here was made by the Lazarists to help traveling a whole lot easier." Wymer stated.

"If your are in the Teutonic Order you are called a Teutonic Knight. If your are in the Hospitaller Order you are called a Hospitaller. If you are in the Sepulchre Order you are called a Holy Sepulcri or just Sepulcri for a short. And when you are in the Lazarus Order, you are called Lazarists." Wymer explained, running out of breath, Percy nodded, finally understanding the confusing system.

"Anyways, you'll get an in depth explanation in the orientation, for now, we need to move, they're starting to go without us." Wymer said, jogging away from Percy. Percy turned around and indeed, the crusaders were marching out, most of them marching in a straight line, it wasn't organized that much, but the line of crusaders was seen. There were some crusaders who strayed away from the pack, mostly in groups of two to five. Those groups were talking amongst themselves, occasionally laughing and making a good time out of the long hike in the heat.

Percy followed Wymer, the two being one of the stragglers, occasionally chatting about stuff with Percy asking questions, silently of course. Percy got to know more about Wymer and this crusade. Percy didn't mind the heat, Percy remembered when Merlin cast a spell on the three of them so they would have a degree of immunity to the heat, and this was helping. Percy tried to push back the memories of Camelot, whenever he thinks about it, he remembers Guinevere, he couldn't get it out of his mind.

---------------------

Percy suddenly stopped, looking at the city in front of him, there was a city that had majestic walls with multiple guard towers, the walls being patrolled by Knights with bows, they had a different symbol than the classic Red Cross, Percy guessed they were the Sepulcri Wymer was talking about. At the bottom of the walls were where the Teutonic Knights patrolled, wandering the outside walls aimlessly, ready to defend the city.

The patrol stopped at a gate, the leader of the patrol at the front, discussing something with one of the guards. After a few minutes of them conversing, the huge wooden gate opened up, letting the rest of the patrol in. Percy walked inside the gates, looking at the city, his jaw dropping a little, he didn't know what was grander, Camelot, or this city, he hasn't even know the name of it yet. Wymer was grinning from ear to ear, looking at Percy who was taking all of the city in, trying to cope with his surroundings, their architecture was much different than Camelot's, it was hard to describe.

"Now, since we are roughly on the same rank, we'll probably be near each other's sleeping quarters." Wymer said. The patrol stopped, Percy looking at the very front of the patrol, seeing a guy who seemed to be in charge, looking at the patrol with a small faint smile, it was fairly visible but it was still there.

"ALRIGHT, THE NEW RECRUITS TO MY LEFT, THE REAL TEUTONIC KNIGHTS TO MY RIGHT!" The guy shouted, some murmurs spouting from the crowd. They did it nonetheless, the new recruits went to the left, the already initiated Knights were on the right. Percy followed, eventually splitting away from his newfound friend, Percy gave Wymer a thumbs up to which he returned with a smile.

"Alright, Knights, go back to your quarters, recruits, follow me." He said in less of an intimidating voice. The rest of the Knights went to their quarters on a particular building, Percy though followed the man. Eventually stopping at some sort of building.

"Alright this is where intimation begins, first you need to go through the orientation, then we can officially register you as one of us, along with that, you can choose which Order you would like to join, more details will be discussed in the orientation." The man said, he entered the building, the building itself was made out of pure stone, the roof was made out of wood, giving it a small medieval feeling to it.

"This is where I leave, I wish you all the best of luck, Deus Vult!" He said, leaving the room, the rest of the recruits slowly sitting down on some benches, preparing for the orientation, Percy sighed, rolling his eyes, readying himself not to sleep through it.

-------------------

Percy managed to stay awake, there was a person that spoke all of the rules and regulations along with what they were supposed to do. Now the recruits were being funneled into a few stations where you would register your name on four of the stands, it was Percy's turn to choose. Only a few stayed to be a Teutonic Knight, they were divided almost equally along the four orders, most people chose either Sepulchre or Hospitaller. Percy though wrote his name Percival in perfect English cursive along the Teutonic Order.

The person that was the head of the Teutonic Order gave me a set of keys with a number on it. Percy nodded his thanks, moving out of the line and going to where he presumed where his quarters were. There were five buildings, one was for the Teutonic Order, the other was for the Sepulchries, the other was for the Hospitallers, the other was for the Lazarists, and the last was for the Templars. Each of the buildings had their orders written on the buildings indicating that it for that specific order.

Percy walked inside the building, seeing multiple doors lined up, the building itself was made of stone, giving it a structural feeling, the inside was decorated with carvings, pillars stationed at the center to provide more balance. Percy turned towards his keys, looking at the number. The number was 300, Percy guessed it was at the third story. Percy turned towards the stairs and climbed the flight, jogging along the stairs, climbing up the stories, all the while he was looking at the designs of the wall.

Percy immediately bumped into someone, rubbing his head in pain. Percy turned towards the person and saw it was Wymer to his surprise, what are the chances. Percy smiled a little, still rubbing his head from the pain of the impact.

"Damn, sorry, I didn't see you, oh right, how was the orientation?" Wymer asked, Percy nodded giving a thumbs up. Wymer smirked.

"Oh by the way, where's your quarters?" Wymer asked, Percy tossed him the keys, Wymer looking at it with wide eyes.

"See, I told you we would be close to each other, I'm just five rooms away." Wymer said, tossing Percy back his keys.

"But, I'm afraid that won't last for long." Wymer said with a sigh, Percy raised an eyebrow looking at Wymer with a raised eyebrow.

"I'm planning on switching Orders." Wymer stated, Percy nodded, indicating him to go on.

"I'm not really good at swordsmanship, I'm a loser, I even had my training and I don't think I have improved much." Wymer said with a dejected sigh.

"So, I'm going to switch Order's, it's either being a Lazarist, or a Sepulcri." Wymer explained, Percy nodded, even though he wouldn't see his friend for quite some time, he was perfectly fine with it, if switching Orders was for him, then he was all for it, besides, they could talk and chat when Percy finishes his training.

"Anyways, I got to go, I'll inform you when I'll be moving, for now, settle in on your quarters, good luck Percival." Wymer said with a small smile, Percy nodded, returning the smile. Percy walked up the stairs, finally arriving at the third story, the floor was a simple wooden floor that sometimes creaked, Percy continued to walk to his quarters, grabbing the keys and opening it, the door unlocking and revealing a nice room.

The floor was plain wood, nothing too special about it, the walls though were decorated with intricate designs, there were waves, and cloud designs carved into the wall, it was like a mural. Percy turned towards his bed, it wasn't like that of Camelot, it was a simple wooden bed frame with a soft mattress along with it, the bed itself was white and simplistic, just the way Percy liked it.

Percy turned towards a small drawer, seeing his old tunic and sword, Percy smiled a little, it must've been magic. Percy plopped into the bed, breathing a small sigh of relief, a small soft smile etching across his face, he felt like it was a long time since he felt the touch of a bed, which was weird, his memory was all junky, he didn't know why, he didn't want to think about any of this confusing stuff, it gave Percy a migraine just thinking about it.

Percy shut his eyes, shutting off all the thoughts about the current situation, he shut off everything about Camelot, he exempted Arthur and Merlin, he tried to forget Guinevere, he just couldn't, the best he could do was take his mind off of it. Percy slowly felt his energy draining away, the soreness off his body finally taking toll, the demigod slowly succumbing to his fatigue.

The Next Day

Percy hopped out of bed, going to the door and stepping outside, carefully locking his quarters. Percy walked down the spiral staircase down the building, occasionally seeing a few Teutonic Knights wandering around, getting used to their surroundings. Percy had training, at the very start of his day. Percy's training starts before noon, around nine o clock. Percy already had breakfast, there was a feast, four long tables were outside, a banner hanging at each side of them, indicating what Order they were in, Percy ate silently throughout it, not speaking to anyone.

Percy shook his head, heading towards the arena, the arena itself was a simple building with stone walls around it, pillars on the outside with intricate carvings, providing by aesthetic and support on the structure. Percy didn't know if he would go into the arena or not. In the orientation, they explained that each and every recruit, had their own mentor, Percy didn't know how they pulled it off, the every recruit has a mentor type of idea, Percy's guess was they had a lot of Knights.

Percy could see a few recruits training with their mentor, having wooden swords and sparring each other, the recruits would lose, one hundred percent of the time, Percy could see they haven't had sword lessons up until now, they were merely novices. Percy smiled a little, he remembered when he first touched a sword, it seemed so foreign to him, as if it was an alien life form, now, a sword seemed to be Percy's extension of himself, it came so naturally to Percy that he didn't notice that he was extremely talented at swordsmanship.

Percy wore a simple white tunic, it was unlike his normal crusader outfit, this one was for recruits only, to signify that they are still belong trained, there are over sixty recruits in total, twenty five went for Hospitallers, fifteen went for Sepulcries, five became Lazarists, and ten became Teutonic Knights. Percy shook his head, continuing to watch the recruits training with their mentors, Percy only hoped that his mentor was a pretty stand up guy and wasn't bossy, or arrogant.

Percy could feel a small tap on his shoulder, Percy yelped a little, being surprised and jumping up slightly, Percy almost had a heart attack. Percy steadied his breathing, turning behind him, seeing a figure behind him with a bright smile. Percy raised an eyebrow, not knowing who this person was.

"Hello, you must be Percival." The figure said, a hood covering his face. Percy nodded raising an eyebrow.

"Oh, so you must be my recruit then." The figure said, raising his hands in the air and grasping his hood, slowly bringing it down. Percy stepped back a little, he was surprised, he wasn't that surprised, he should've expected it, but he didn't brace himself enough.

"So, are you ready to train Percival?" The figure said with a small soft bright smile, that figure, wasn't actually a he, it was a she.

So I won't make this authors note too long, maybe just one or two paragraphs I dunno, the reason I'm doing this authors note is just to converse with you guys, well not really. I'm kidding. Anyways, as you may see, or not, depending on whether or not you know me lol, this book usually updates around three days from now, Saturday actually here in England, but right now, I updated it slightly early, on Thursday. As you may or may not know, I'm planning on trying to get two uploads.

So, there may or may not be a chapter in the next two to three days, don't get your hopes up, I'm lazy, I might just spend the time doing nothing like normal. Anyways, don't expect anything for now, but keep in mind that I might update, just a heads up.
