"Yes! Come, Seegra, let's go hunt some humans!" A large silver Diamond Dragon exclaimed, his green eyes alight with excitement."

His companion, a blue Water Dragon, nodded. "Let's try the capital! I need to practice my kill spiral, it's gettin' kinda rusty." Seegra looked at a beautiful blood red dragon with spikes down her back and large claws of the same color. She also had a certain scarf wrapped around her neck. "Come on, Natsuko! You haven't been hunting in a while!"

The Fire Dragon shook her head. "Not hungry, but thanks for the thought."

The silver dragon shrugged. "Suit yourself." He took off from the cave, Seegra following close behind him.

Natsuko sighed. "Honestly!" she grumbled. "Just because they're smaller than we are, doesn't make them food! They can talk, and they're intelligent, not stupid like sheep...."

She looked around the cave she was settled in, along with the other dragons. It was the Dragon Civil War at the moment, and Natsuko was forced to fight for the side she hated... the side that loved to slaughter humans for sport.

Natsuko sank her claws into the ground, breaking through the stone easily. Just because her siblings and parents were here, she had to do the same.

She looked at the moon, full and bright in the dark sky. But not anymore.

Natsuko flew out of the cave, her golden eyes raking the ground below her as she dove through the clouds. She could smell Seegra and Mack, the silver dragon, just in front of her. However, she could also smell a village.

"Oh no..." she whispered as she saw the two dragons tearing into three humans, and a black haired human child standing behind him, and terrified look on his face.

Mack turned to the child, blood dripping down his chin. "Aw, poor little baby." He sneered. "How about we go ahead and put you out of your misery, eh?" He walked towards the human, Seegra following.

Realizing that it was now or never, Natsuko lunged forward, bowling Mack over to his side and jumping between the human and the dragons.

"Back off, you bastard..." she snarled at Seegra's shocked face.

Mack stood up, flexing his shoulder to make sure it was alright. He glared at Natsuko. "What are you doing, sheep-for-brains!? This is what we've been training for!!!"

Natsuko flared her nostrils, exhaling a cloud of smoke. "It's what you've been training for... as cliche as this is, I refuse to let you hurt this child!"

Seegra struck first, exhaling a wave of water from his mouth, before lunging forward, raking his claws over her shoulder. Mack did the same, locking his jaws on her wing.

Natsuko roared in pain, before retaliating, a blast of fire pouring from her mouth and hitting Seegra straight in the face. Being a Water Dragon, Seegra screeched in pain, falling backwards.

Natsuko staggered as she felt Mack climb on top of her, gripping her shoulders and sinking his teeth into her neck. Natsuko screamed in agony. She rolled over, crushing the Diamond Dragon beneath her.

She heard a muffled yelp from below her as the razor sharp spikes on her mouth pierced his belly. However, she soon felt Mack roar a blast of diamond.

Natsuko howled, jumping off of him, igniting herself in white hot fire to melt the diamond. As she did it, though, Seegra's water-covered claws struck her face.

Natsuko screamed, and rose into the air, drying the water into steam. Flames shot from her mouth at the two dragons, razing the ground around them. Knowing that it was only a matter of time before they escaped, she grabbed the child in her claws and took off.

"Let me go!" The child yelled, struggling in her grip. Natsuko's eyes flicked down.

"Calm down," she said. "I won't hurt you... in case you hadn't noticed, I just saved your life back there...."

The child was silent. "What's your name?" he finally asked.

"Natsuko." she replied, wincing as the wind hit her injured wing. "And your's is..."
