Suddenly, I hear someone call my name.

     Sophiy taps my shoulder and says "First day on job! Are you nervous or excited?"

      I just say "A little of both. Also, I'm sorry but what is your name again?"

      Sophiy looks a little taken back and says "Um Sophiy..." She starts walking toward me and whispers "Maybe, I should start whispering in your ear more to make you remember my name. Your heartbeat is beating so loud now and why does your face look ..flushed? You don't like someone being this close to you?"

       I take a deep breath and say "Sophiy, I am not into girls. I like getting flirted with but just not with you. I didn't mean it like that..it's just I don't know you so...I'll just stop talking now." Why does she get under my skin?

      Sophiy laughs and says "It's okay, breathe! I was just messing with you. Look, you're not my type. I don't date confused girls." Then she smirks and walks away.

      I scowl at her and say "I am not confused, I'm...." Just shake it off..she doesn't know what she's talking about ..Breathe

     As I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, I began to let my feet show me the way. When I open my eyes, I am at a black old wooden door. Why is this giving me a bad vibe..okay let's go!

     When I open the door, the smell of mildew just overwhelms me. The room looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. The brown walls have little holes everywhere like termites were infested in the walls. It's a small room with 2 broken wooden tables and 4 broken chairs. The room looks like it had been abandoned for years. Spiderwebs were in every crevice. No I can't do this... As I began to turn back, I heard "ah ahem" . I saw a creature come out from the shadows and he looked like every little kid's nightmare. He had the statue of a black bear but little streams of lava were running down his body slowly. His skin was hard as a rock. His eye was bloodshot red with a small chubby circular nose. When he took a breath, steam was released into the air. He approached me very slowly and smiled. His teeth were similar to a black bear's teeth but the color of it was black.

     "You must be Sarah. Nice to meet you! My name is Bardig Bar but you can call me Mr.B. ...Breathe Sarah."

     I smile and say "Um nice to meet you, Mr. B."

     As I begin to sit down, Mr.B stops me and says "It's best if you don't sit down..the chairs aren't stable. As you see we don't really have a lot going for ourselves. We clean up after the big guys and they give us the scraps from their meals." He points to half chewed food that has little purple bugs flying around on the table.

    I began to laugh and say "I guess history does repeat itself."

     Mr.B gives me a weird look and says "It's always been like this for almost 250 years. We are only here to serve the rulers. You will be following me for the first week to get familiar with everything. Anything you see or hear can't be repeated at all. I will try to protect you but if you bring any trouble for me, then you are on your own. We serve all of the ruler's family and I am the person that assigns people. Follow these 3 rules and you will do fine here:

Think of yourself as a piece of furniture. You are there to accommodate, not to talk. Just do whatever they ask.

Fraternization is forbidden. You will be terminated if I found out that you have a personal relationship with any of the Ruler Family members.

Never tell anyone what you see or hear while working here. I can't protect you if you are found guilty for disclosing information.

     Mr.B stares at me and says "I need to know that you comprehend what I am saying. So a response or nod would suffice."

    I smile and say "I understand! When do I start?" Okay, cleaning up is not my preference but I guess it will do.

    Mr.B smiles and tells me to follow him. He leads me to a long dark hallway. As he turns on the lights, 5 doors illuminate simultaneously. It had name plates of different families on top of each door. Mr.B looks at me and says "These five doors are direct extensions to each family's area. Now it's a good chance that you will get lost so I'll send you a copy of each person's name in the 5 Ruler Families. First we are going to start in the Clawney Clan.

    Open the first door!

      The first thing I see is tall trees that you would find in the dinosaur age. They looked so beautiful and full of life. It was everything that my earth didn't have of nature.The trees were full of different colors. The air was so pure that I was afraid to even breathe in it. They had 2 suns on each side of the sky. The balmy weather was so nice on my skin. It wasn't too hot or cold. This reminded me of the old stories of people having barbecues at the park. The shiny blue lakes to take a dip in once the weather get too hot. It was everything that I dreamed of but could never see for myself. All kinds of birds were flying around us. I could hear small streams of water flowing through this land.  Nature has been kind to them! I was so caught up in the scenery that I didn't even know that I was surrounded.

      All of a sudden I hear someone yell "WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON MY LAND HUMAN?"

Looks like Sarah might have gotten herself into trouble?!
