Chapter 31
You all may or may not end me after this. Hahaha!!!! Sorry!
Anyways, I wanted to give a brief description of each spell I used in this chapter just so you know what each of them does and what goes on.
There's the basics, which I'm sure you all know: expelliarmus, Stupefy, petrificus totalus, and protego.
If you don't know these, then look it up. They're pretty simple.
Also there is
Diffindo: severing charm. Cause the targeted object to rip or tear.
Aguamenti: produces a jet of water from casters wand.
Confringo: causes items it comes in contact with to burst into flames (I may or may not have used this one right. If I didn't, don't hate on me, it made sense in my head).
Confundo: causes victim to become confused and disoriented for a short amount of time.
Caterwauling charm: no actual enchantment for this, but it creates a loud, high pitched screeching noise when casted.

Harry's POV
The barrier we set up around us crumpled as the house shook violently. On instinct, I pulled out my wand and held on to Teddy's hand as Draco did the same and grabbed ahold of Scorpius' hand.
I pointed my wand at all of our gathered luggage and shouted "Reducio!" Shrinking all of the luggage to where I could easily fit it in my back pocket.
"We can't apparate! The wards for that are still up, we'll have to use the floo." Draco said.
I nodded my head and the four of us started running off to the living room.
Just as we entered the living room, the house shook again and my front door crashed loudly onto the floor causing wood particles to scatter in the air.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy. My two favorite people." A deep, almost unrecognizable voice said as a large bald man with burnt marks all across his skin stepped into our house.
A group of several death eaters behind him.
"Crabbe." Draco muttered, standing forward and putting the kids behind him.
"Good to see you two, blood traitor." He hissed at Draco.
Draco clenched his teeth slightly, not wanting to unload on the guy.
Back when we were still in Hogwarts, Crabbe was nothing more than a follower. Never really had an opinion of his own, but things obviously changed.
He now has gathered several death eaters that are begging for revenge, for redemption on his side. All of them following Crabbe's direction in order to kill those involved in Voldemort's death.
I have no idea how he managed it, but he did. The so called followers of Voldemort now follow someone who barely even had anything to do with the war.
"After the little Weasley family fled their home the other day, I figured you would do the same, seeing as you always follow your friends, Harry. So predictable, but I guess I couldn't blame you. After all, your pathetic little barriers were just too easy for me to take down."
"How did you get through those? It should've been nearly impossible." I asked. If we had made a flaw, then I would understand, but for Draco's house to be broken into, on top of Hermione's, then something is seriously amiss.
"Oh. It wasn't very difficult, not with these." He waved his hand in front of his face.
There was two very distinct rings. One was silver with a dark red gem in the center. The other was also silver, but with a golden gem in the center.
The gems looked like they had smoke inside of them, constantly swirling in circles.
"The Carmine ring." Draco muttered under his breath.
"The what?" I asked.
"The Carmine ring. There's only a few in existence, but basically they're magic boosters. They give your magic a little bit more power. Their banned in most countries." He told me. "How did you get ahold of one?!" He asked Crabbe.
"Very little survived the fire in the room of requirement, but you'd be amazed by what I got my hands on while I crawled my way out of that place you abandoned me in."
"You're the one who started that fire. Don't come pointing fingers at us for something you caused!" I justified.
After all, it was his fault and we did try to stop him.
Crabbe's eyes narrowed at me. "If you weren't so hell bent on saving yourself, then maybe I wouldn't look as awful as I do now! However, I got a second chance at life and I promise to use it to finish what the dark lord started!" He raised his wand. "Stupefy!"
"Protego!" Draco and I yelled, putting a shield infornt of the four of us and blocking his magic.
"Aguamenti!" I shouted, a jet of water darting out of my wand when the protego spell was put down.
"Confringo!" Crabbe yelled turning my water into steam.
"Confundo!" Draco yelled and hit Crabbe who had his attention on me. He fell back slightly in a daze, gripping his head in pain and confusion.
I used the time he was down to grab some floo powder and ushered the kids into the fire place.
"Dad!" Teddy yelled, trying to get out of the fireplace and back to my side.
"We're right behind you! Don't worry about us."
"Promise?" Scorpius asked, pulling Teddy back into the fire place. A look of fear and ours dread over his features.
"Yes. I promise. Now go! The Burrow!" I yelled, throwing the sand down and watching the two disappear in a fire of green.
Draco kept the other death eaters off of me while I got the kids through.
I turned back to my boyfriend to join in the fight.
Crabbe was still disoriented and so we focused solely on the other death eaters.
The others weren't nearly as strong as I thought they'd be, but I was growing exhausted.
Casting spell after spell was taking a toll on me.
It had been years since the last time I dueled and with the curse, all of my strength was easily sucked out of me.
Sweat ran down my head as we continued to push the death eaters back.
"We've got to get out of here!" Draco shouted. He said.
I was out of breath and I could only bet that my face was a pale, sickening color.
"Yeah, get the floo ready. I'll hold them off!" I told him.
He nodded his head before running to grab more of the powder.
There was only four death eaters left standing.
"Petrificus totalus!" I yelled.
"Protego!" He blocked my spell.
The room started to darken slightly around me as I continued shouting out spells, hoping to end the other death eaters, but it was getting difficult just to aim with my shaking hands.
"Stupefy!" I yelled another spell out, this one hitting a death eater straight on as he collapsed to the ground.
Then it hit me.
My stomach turned, making it feel like an endless pit.
The now pounding in my head made me realize what was happening.
No. Not now.
I grunted in frustration and in pain.
"Expelliarmus!!" I yelled, pointing my wand at a death eater, his wand flying through the air to the other side of the room.
Movement from the side of me, caught my eye, but it was too late.
A loud, ear piercing sound traveled around the room bringing me to my knees, gripping my ears tightly in hopes of bringing relief to the painful ringing. My wand fell from my hand and ended up a few feet away from me.
I turned behind me to find Draco in the same position I was.
When the sound left, I let go of my head and dropped onto the floor, my body feeling as though it was on fire.
"You see." I heard a voice say.
Crabbe stood before Draco, sneering down at him.
Draco's spell had seemed to have worn off. "I did my research and I know all about Potter's little condition."
"What? How-" Draco questioned.
I screamed in pain and Draco turned to me, ready to help me.
"Not so fast!" Crabbe shouted pushing Draco to the ground roughly.
I started coughing up blood, the usual marks appearing across my skin. "Draco." Talking became harder. My throat was scratchy and it hurt.
Things weren't adding up. How did he find out about my curse? I've always done a good job on keeping that secret. Not to mention, these episodes happen at a random time each day, how the hell did he know exactly when I would have one?
"I wonder what Harry will think seeing you die before he does." Crabbe laughed cruelly, pulling me from my thoughts.
"No." I grunted, trying to crawl to Draco and protect him.
Crabbe placed his wand under Draco's chin, Draco's wand now out of reach. Probably falling out of his hand when he fell.
"I can't wait to cut you open and let your loved one watch." He muttered coldly.
He pulled his wand back swirling it. "Diffindo!"
Draco cried out in pain, gripping his shoulder tightly, blood seeping through his fingers.
Crabbe pointed his wand in a new spot. "Diffindo!" He shouted.
This time Draco's abdomen shredded open and another cut appeared, gushing out blood.
"No! Draco!" I yelled, reaching out my hand only for my body to retaliate and my knuckles began to burn and blister.
Crabbe lit the tip of his wand on fire and pressed it to Draco's neck.
He screamed in agonizing pain.
"How does it feel to burn the way I did?! I'm betting it's the most painful thing you've been through!" He said pushing the wand deeper into his neck.
"Stop it!" I shouted, no longer able to listen to Draco's horrible cries of pain.
Tears began flooding down my face as I watched my loved one suffer, bile and blood rising up my throat, causing me to gag and throw it up on the floor.
"Oh don't worry, Harry. You'll be next. Your screams will be the most amusing to hear. After all, you're already in agonizing pain. It should be fun to add to it." Crabbe laughed loudly and manically before turning his attention back on Draco.
I can't let him continue this. I have to get us out of here.
Barely with any strength left, I crawled over and picked up my wand that laid beside me and with shaking, bloodied hands, I pointed it at Crabbe.
"Stupefy!" I willed the last bit of energy I hoped I had.
At this point I didn't know if I had any magical energy left. Between casting multiple spells and now bleeding on my floor. Whatever energy I had left may not have been enough.
However, I didn't get the chance to check.
I coughed violently, my wand dropping from my hand.
The room started spinning and my head felt like it was being ripped in two.
Before I knew it, everything turned black.
